I thought Tangie worked at the Roadhouse? It's a shame Tangie and Cutter never got a chance. It's especially perplexing given that Tangie had more chem with him than she did with Josh or Alan or Alan-Michael. And Cutter also had more chemistry with Barbara Crampton's Mindy than Nick ever did as well. I liked her relationship with the Lewises and I must have been the only one who didn't resent her for not being Reva. I didn't want Reva back. I liked Tangie.
That's a matter of opinion. I liked her as Eden but hated her as Tangie. Santa Barbara was definitely a great show but Guiding Light is better but that's just my opinion.
I love Marcy and even though Eden and Liza were my favorite roles for her I did like Tangie as well and thought she made a nice couple with Josh who she did Santa Barbara with and Roger and then Cutter. Marcy is a bigger then life actress and she plays all her parts so well you never get enough of her, can't help that she's such a great actress. Sad the part didnt' work out for her! Thanks for sharing these scenes as it really makes me miss her on my television more then ever!
Robansuefarm, Thank you. Your opinion is very interesting for me, I understood a lot. Too bad that many fans did not like Tangie. This is strange. Reva died, Josh loved Tangie. Marcy and Robert had chemistry. I like them together.
I think Tangie's biggest problem was that many fans saw her as a Reva replacement, due to her involvement with Josh and unduly resented her for it. I personally learned a useful life lesson from Tangie (when being chased never run UP the stairs). Was Outskirts the same bar Jonathan eventually buys? I think Tangie worked best as a reporter. You left out she used Lois Lane as a pen name. That's my favorite thing about her.
I would have liked to see Tangie paired off with Nick. Once they got MW to GL and the Tangie/Josh storyline backfired, they didn't know what to do with the character, and MW knew it. A Nick/Tangie/A-M triangle could have been fun to watch. Tangie and Alan? Blah. I only found Cutter interesting when he was investigating who shot Roger... and Tangie being sold as a child to Roger? That was just bad writing. MW asked to be let out of her contract early as she didn't become what GL ha offered hee... And found her way back to AMC.
I could never stand Reva so any replacement for her would be great for me. I just don't really remember Tangie much. She seemed to float around. I don't think they knew what to do with her.
Thank you so much, I'm a great fan of Marcy Walker! Do you have more videos of Tangie and Josh? I find them sooooooo cute, I like them together... It would be wonderful for me if you could upload more...
Walker is a good actress but I never was fond of the character. I thought she took too much airtime from other characters, she and the Lucy Cooper character seemed to - especially in 1994.
@@frankieseward8667 great idea! Tangie Character was so isolated besides some weird connection to Roger Thorpe...so making her a Reardon would have been smart!
Tangie looked absolutely stunning in that dress she wore to the 5th street ball!

SHE WILL BE ALWAYS EDEN TO ME FROM SANTA BARBARA THE BEST SOAP OPERA...

I agree, Santa Barbara couldn't touch Guiding Light!
If Santa Barbara was so much better, why did it only last a fraction of the time Guiding Light was on the air? hmmmmm

all the cast of santa barbara!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. I love Tangie Hill. Marcy is great.

Josh and Harley not Tangie after Reva died!
They could have done so much with Tangie and Cutter,
Like a Bogie and Bacall thing. Guiding light missed that idea.
I don't think Marcy Walker wanted them too. At an interview at the time she never mentioned Cutter and Tangie
I would love to see Harley's or Fletcher's profile?
Though you just explained it all, I don't understand. I watched the entire time but I guess I checked out.

She should've been Chelsea Reardon. It would've been perfect.

This character was HATED. I remember it well.
She was too overhyped joining the show
