With a Y axis movement of 4”, does that mean its only possible to drill or tap radially two inches in either direction from centerline on the X axis? Is this also true 2” from centerline on the Z axis? I wish there was a Haas video that clearly showed Y movement in slo-mo, maybe even over laid with arrows.
Was that 'nub' on the end (6:44) part of the model? Or do you have to file that off now? Also, are 'part catchers' something you could add on? Thx, I've watched this several times now.
Part catcher is an option, which u coulnd't install on existing lathe, only new. This "nub" is from toolbit profile - if u want flat surface, u need to use insert with angle.
Hopefully you could answer my question, I wrote a program in Mastercard that uses the c axis radial live tooling but for some reason it doesn't seem to create the right gcode and mcode in the post for the haas st-10. Did you use Mastercam to create your program to work on your has st-10 radial live tooling
It is realy awesome, I would like to read that GXX code of Y/Axis lathing of this product if you would like to send it by mail or note down under this text pls.
this is like machine boss need but thing is parts would be so small can do them. mills hit spindle LOL. its okay we do all these with 2 machines. 3 setup or... more LOL LOL and magic is we sell them cheaper LOL LOL LOL. boss is master. cheaper we get parts LOL LOL LOL LOL. could ask more so we could buy better machines that can do same thing on one setup, but thing is only me could operate it LOL
I like the Haas with Benz live tools. Powerful, reliable, probably best on the market
Nice job, looking to get in to live tooling a new Haas lathe. I know it was 2012 but what did that run $$ amount?

Level3-RC thanks for the reply, but I figure out how to modify post processor for mastercam, so the gcode and mcodes would come out right.......thanks
Привет! В какой программе работаете?
How long does it take to make the program to do this part? Approximately? Thanks

no flood coolant?
Flood coolant + opened door?
You cannot use coolant when recording, you would not be able to see clearly because of the mist it creates..
Супер парни!
