Oh Shane, thanks so much for dealing with this vital area of life.
I follow this process when looking at a decision to be made.
First - I sit, journal & reflect prayerfully on what the options are I have to move forward on.
Second - I seek out wise counsel of ones I know have a track record of making good decisions to see if there is an agreement on my thoughts or they have other options i have not thought of. Ones also who have understand in the area the decision is in.
Third - I fly the top 1/2 or 3 options with my key team who will be adopting the decision to see what their responses are both good & bad.
Finally - I go back into the closet to prayerfully consider everything & make my final decision being able to confidently and clearly articulate to the team why this we are going this way after careful consideration of everyones thoughts.
