Making a Magnetic Leather Frame Bag for Revibike's "Cheetah" Cafe Racer E-Bike

- In this leathercraft video I make a custom leather frame bag for a Revibikes "Cheetah" electric bike. Storage is a must for these bikes, as at minimum you'll want to carry you're charger with you wherever you go. I used magnetic clasps instead of buckles for quick access while riding. Many of the construction techniques were improvised as I went along; so I don't have a template unfortunately.
This e-bike looks so much like a motorcycle that I got a lot of second looks from people as I was filming for this. Special thanks for Revibikes for sponsoring this video!

You got some serious leather skills, keep up the great artisan work!
Thanks, will do!
Amazing job as usual. Love the retro bike style. Watch that scarf getting hung up on something and yanking you off the bike.
Yeah, a few people have mentioned that. I didn't realize it was that close to the wheels until I was editing the video.
Look who is styling around town. Great idea on the bag
Thanks!
Love that scarf!
Thanks!
Awesome the scarf is so Dennis Hopper
Thanks for watching!
Great looking bike.... nice build, integrated well and adds a nice design touch.
Thanks for subscribing!
Maybe next make a leather biker jacket to go with your snazzy new bike 👌
Haven't leaped into clothing yet, but plan to in the future (it's one of the reasons I bought the sewing machine I did.)
You always do great work brother!
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Very nice work as usual. Also the design was extreamly well done for a bike bag. Extreamly well done sir!
Thank you very much!
you have a very creative mind another great job
Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Just add the Thompson Machine gun scabbard and you’ll be set.
Ha. It's a cool retro look for sure. Thanks for subscribing!
Nice. Love the scarf but you may want to watch the length. You don't want to do an Isadora Duncan. Who'd we learn from then? Enjoy.
WOW!!! FASTASTICO trabajo artístico 👏👏👏🥇🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Awesome
Hey! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Awesome!
Thanks again for watching!
What a cool bike! Sad the taillight battery was separate though.
Yeah, one of the few critiques.
idolo ❤
Love the bike, the bags, and of course, the video.
Lose the scarf! I had a nylon strap get caught in a spoke and tore the whole side of a cadora bag wide open. I never felt it, never heard it. Now I trim everything nice and close. Cheap lesson.
lol. Yeah, I didn't realize how close it was to the wheels until I was editing. Thanks for watching!

Never miss an episode. What sewing machine do you use? I'm about to pull the trigger on a sailrite. Any thoughts?
Cool bag. What is that double sided tape you are using there?
Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching. It's Tanner's Bond Permanent Adhesive Tape (available form Tandy Leather).
😍😍✌✌Interesting

turned out amazing
what is the rigid material you used ?
It's bag stiffener. I purchase it from Tandy Leather for $9 a roll. Thanks for subscribing!
First of all OMG! that is friggin awesome. That being said Naturally since I watched I have one of these bikes. After seeing this video I need one of these bags. I can't make it and to my knowledge nobody else does either. Do you have a store, or can I custom order one? Is there any way to get one?
Thanks for watching! No, this was personal project for myself. I don't offer these for sale. :(
@@RoadAgentLeather Okay That is disappointing news. You've really got something there and with the number of Cheetah bikes out there it would be a good seller. Please let me know if anything changes, because I don't know of anything like this.
Thanks for watching! I just dropped the product link into the description.
What is the stiffer material you used?
It's bag stiffener I purchase from Tandy Leather
@@RoadAgentLeather thank you and the bag is amazing!

Thanks! Yes, my machine is a Cobra Class 26
Yeah, naw, I don't like it. The bike, not the bag. I wouldn't be bothered by by people pointing and laughing at the guy _pedaling_ his "motorcycle" or the ones who yell at you for driving a motor vehicle on a bike path. No, it's the cops. You'll eventually get pulled over for no license plate and/or no helmet. Better to ride what it looks like your riding rather than otherwise, imho.
I understand your point -- could draw too much of the wrong attention. :P Thanks for watching!
Trying to look 'cool' with an oversized scarf that was inches from getting tangled in the rear spokes, was a Darwin award waiting to happen.
That’s your take away from this video? To the extent that you’d happily put a cliche in writing? I’m now going to run with scissors. Please share your thoughts on the subject. Also, I checked your channel and you have no videos posted. Why? Is your phone in the repair shop?
No worries! I survived. I didn't realize the potential hazard until I was done filming and was editing the video.
@@RoadAgentLeatherthat was a close one! Lol jk
