I watch your videos because I want to see what else it out there in this ever developing market. I first saw Vintage Electric bikes on TV, both on Jay Leno's Garage and on American Pickers. That was early on in the company's development and they were also VERY expensive, but the aesthetics made me fall in love and they are a Northern CA company so I was down to support them. 2 years ago I took the plunge and bought one. Being that they'd been around for several years at that point, I felt comfortable that they were not going to suddenly go out of business and I'd be at a loss for maintenance and parts. I have the VE Scrambler and it's awesome. Top speed has never reached the 36mph stat that they claim but it has great torque and it feels like an old motorcycle in stance as well as looks. I opted for this model even though it was the most expensive one in their line up at the time I purchased it because I was able to get financing one it rather than shell out the $8k all at once and because I am a total sucker for aesthetics, form over function. And this matte black beauty had me at hello. I have only had two issues with it since getting it over 2 years ago. 1. I crashed, head over handlebars, about a month after having it. I nearly rearended a car. The bike is so fast that it sucks riding in the bike lanes with slow ass regular bikes or other e-bikes. I think what happened is that I hit the brakes but as I came to the sudden stop my thumb was still on the throttle which threw me overboard. In the accident I smashed the computer (and tore a rotator cuff) but the computer was an easy fix. I paid $150 or so and they mailed it to me, easy plug and play replacement. The other issue I had was wiring in the rear hub coming loose or breaking for some reason. I drove it down to Santa Clara, since I live in San Francisco, and they replaced the wheel for the cost of labor even though I was a month out of my warranty. It was the owner/founder who did me this solid and I am very grateful. These guys are very cool, helpful and honest. Cons: the front fork limits turning radius and it weighs about 90lbs so getting on the train that I take to work is sometimes a daunting task. I would love to see it come with a brake light and directionals and maybe a little more throttle-only distance but overall it is awesome.
Thank you for this comment! I’ve been thinking about buying an EVC for the 36 mph capability and style. But if you find that it doesn’t quite reach that mark then maybe I should wait another few years until they up their game and the claimed top speed is higher.
I have a Monday Anza by Monday Motorbikes. It is the 500W version, and it works like a charm. Truly a beauty and a powerful piece of biking machinery. It is my personal home-to-work transportation machine.
I've just applied for workshops where you're building your own projects and I'm pretty sure Im going to make something like the Greaser after watching this video.
The Monday gen 7 is a motorcycle it just has pedals but isn’t an ebike it’s to fast to be one and you could replace the pedals with pegs so it is actually a motorcycle it’s in the brand Monday motorbikes
The only ebikes i know that actually look like a solid motorcycle are the Revv1 by Ride1Up with the cage installed. The Piezo from Monday Motorbikes and Beachman 64 bikes from Canada
Speak for yourself on the speed not being important-thing. :-) Some bikes missing include the _HyperScrambler 2_ by Juiced, and the _Grizzly_ and _X-Class 52 V_ bikes by Ariel Rider -- all of which have 52V and 19+ Ah batteries. The _HypeScrambler 2_ and _Grizzly_ have dual batteries. And 1,000W motors.
From everything I've seen in this video I would still pick a Sur Ron or a Sur Ron X or a Segway ebikes. and these ebikes have been on the market for a while now. and they have good support, and there are a lot of upgrades available for them. now and a person can purchase a Sur Ron for about $3500.00. and I believe a person doesn't have to have an operators license to ride one. if I remember rightly if it is an under 8 kilowatt hour motor. don't quote me exactly on this since it's been a little while when I gathered the information on them.

13g gets your royal enfields most expensive motorcycle and some riding gear .......that gets you unlimited range and a 3 yr roadside warrenty................these ebike makers need to be wayyyyyy cheaper..........i dont care how fast they go or how far. their prices just dont warrant the spending ....yet
I really love it. I have about 275 miles on it now. Took the knobby tires off and put fat white walls on it. Looks cool and nice quiet ride. The tires are Vee Tires,China. Took fenders off,and bags and rack. Looks sporty now. Rides ok for rigid. I see available suspension fork avaiy in line, $399. Enjoy your Cheetah.
Please stop whining about having to have a motorcycle licence to ride some of these bikes. You need a driver's license to drive a car and even a license to own a dog, for God's sake. It is not the huge sacrifice you make of it.
no butts ........7g is too much.....plain and simple.......unless its made of gold......its way too much for an untested product.......we have no idea how long these motors or batteries last yet. You can but a brand new vespa for less.......these ebike makers just dont get it(except super 73 and the arial grizzly)......they need to be cheaper then a motorcycle........and by the way you left out the grizzly by arial.......how could you miss such an obvious choice for number one?.....are you being paid by the guys you put in number 1.....theres no other reason for them being there. I ask because i have a greaser and its garbage
1000 miles on my Revi Cheetah so far- best bike of the 5 bikes I've had. Super cool and comfortable. Highly recommended!
I wonder is there an E Bike that favor Kaneda's Bike from Akira?

Prices are insane.
I own the Rayvolt. Love it!

can you recommend one in which I can get long range and I can ride with at least another person?
It would be better if there is a pedal on it.
How come you not have Ariel Rider in this list man I was really looking for it
Do not buy from them 😬 they may have been decent in the past but now not so much.
Thanks Bartholomew! Great video

How we can buy
Great Video

I bought the Vintage Electric Shelby Cobra. Pretty sweet ride.
how is the azmo vintage looking?.....would you like to borrow my glasses?
All these videos just makes me want rgnt no. 1 more.
lol same!
The coolest looking bikes have low speeds and ranges. The goofiest looking e bikes are quick and rangy, but their aesthetics could be better
Speed is a point about these
You have to wonder where the line is between these and electric motorcycles.
Pedals
The e-bike with the fake plastic V-Twin is somewhat off-putting except to the 12 yo and under group. I do like the frame though.
Check out yatri motorcycles form Nepal. Those are cool motorcycles.
Look like motorcycles, but rarely can compete.
Parilla bike trailer is full of flashs and unnecessary cuts.. cool bike tho.
you did not study closely if you are buying a monday bike.

But I don’t have 3500 fukin dollars man they need to make a surron ebike that is affordable but doesn’t only go like 15 miles per hour
Why couldn’t you actually show the bikes?

Got a Revi Cheetah. 28 m.p.h.
What's your experience with so far? How does it ride? I'm getting mines in a few days.
