I remember Colin from the first year of MTV back in the 1980s, he was one of the first VJs, then he went on to host one of the MTV shows. A lot of people don’t know him from that far back.
He wasn’t a VJ, he was the sidekick on Remote Control. Fell in love with his work from there and have followed him ever since. Loved him on SNL and in Trainwreck
@@elizdavidson you are correct, but he was a VJ on three different occasions when he substituted twice for Nina Blackwell & once for J.J. Jackson when they were sick, along with his regular duties on Remote Control. This shit is to easy to verify.
@@MichaelSSmith-hs5pw subbing isn’t quite the same as being called as VJ. And a quick search is not turning up any references to him being a VJ. I don’t doubt he subbed, but its not something he apparently identifies himself as. If you have a link, I’d love to read up further. I’m all for more Colin however it happens. :)
Colin mentioned RIP TORN the Actor!= Did you know that RIP TORN and RIP TAYLOR were both born the same year and they both died the same year!!= It's totally TRUE!!
I actually went to high school with Jimmy Fallon, of course back then he was known as James Flischestein. He tried to get us all to call him Jimmy but no one did. He also tried to create new words to replace words like: RAD or COOL.. he would say stuff like "how slinky was that song". Terrible, just terrible. One time we went on a school excursion to Sea World and someone threw "Jimmys" hat into the Orca tank and they are it so after that we all called him James Fish-stein. I tried to get his attention when I was in the audience at one of his shows and he had security remove me so I took a dump 💩 in the lift on the way downstairs. Take that funny man!
“People are right about you. You are too enthusiastic” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Amazing actor, love his roles!
He's a great script rewriter too.

I totally agree with Colin Quinn about the Come on over story. You want to talk to Colin, walk over to him!!!
Colin seems like such a sweetheart, for some reason I always thought he'd be abrasive. Must've been his on screen persona 🤔
He was the only one on O & A who was never cruel to Bobo or Lady Di
He can be a nice guy while also having a vicious sense of humour
Same here. I picked up that he was kind in one of SNL skits with a kid.
One of the best
CQ is a national treasure!
Colin Quinn is so funny. 😂😂
😆🤣🤣🤣🤣😎 Colin is HILARIOUS!
He still reminds me of MTV's Remote Control, such a fun show
Tough crowd was awesome!
So funny - Colin Quinn is so hilarious.
Colin is hilarious
I always liked this guy.
Colin Quinn on Remote Control on MTV... When they actually had something to do with music... Gold 🥇

@@elizdavidson Nit picking is not winning the case. Good-bye.👋
Colin Quinn is the best. Love from Venezuela
I was just thinking about him a couple days ago!
3:03 jimmy is wondering who this guy is lolll
But is him
He looks like arm wrestler Jeff Dabe in that young picture.
Jimmy Fallon they should make a movie about cadillacs
Ah, the forgotten Weekend Update guy. Still alive. Good for Carleton.
Hey oh!

Both good dudes but this was one of strangest most disjointed interviews that I've ever watched, it was weirdly uncomfortable and just ... weird vibe.
💔
Colin has gone soft. So far and away from his roasting days and Tough Crowd.
Jimmy does great fake laughs.
