ABOUT VEDANTA
Vedanta is one of the world’s most ancient religious philosophies and one of its broadest. Based on the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of India, Vedanta affirms the oneness of existence, the divinity of the soul, and the harmony of religions. ABOUT US Vedanta Society of New York is affiliated with the Ramakrishna Order of India. In fact, this is the Order's first Center started by Swami Vivekananda, in 1894. It was a historic event, for the seed of the world-wide Ramakrishna Movement was sown here in New York over a century ago. Swami Sarvapriyananda is the present Resident Minister and Spiritual Leader of the Vedanta Society of New York.

Chitta is made up of Sattva particles (Rajayoga Patanjali yoga sutra ch II .52) . Causal body is chitta with the sanskara but when Chitta is pure then one can experienced Sanand smadhi. Even in normal state when one is not in smadhi state one can feel the happiness( bliss) in one's own heart.
Crystal clear
Pranam, Jai Gurudev 🙏

Ananda is more than the absence of the awareness of problems in deep sleep...it's a tangible experience of ecstasy, perhaps the Swami will elucidate further on.

Daily, Normal Physiological Sleep is of approximately 06 to 08 hours 😊❤❤😊 comprising of to start with, Non Rapid Eye Moment (NREM) phase of @ 90 to 100 minutes in which NO Dreams are experienced. This is followed by @ 05 to 20 minutes of Rapid Eye Moment - (REM) phase appearing just prior to waking up. during this phase, Dreams😊😅😅😮😂❤😢 are experienced.
Beyond, NREM/REM/NREM/REM is Turia, the fourth phase of SLEEP comparable with Anandmaya kosha during which the body - mind - intellect - senses - ego experience complete absence of all activities and calling this experience as BLISSFUL.
Very respectfully Loving ❤😊 ING You One and All DIVINE NOW and HERE and FAR MORE 😊😅😮😮🎉❤

Revered Maharaj. My doubt about the dreaming mind is that when one sees a (unreal) tiger in the dream and is scared, one wakes up with a real palpitation of the heart, some even have nightfall (the occurrence of spontaneous orgasm and ejaculation usually during sleep).
Is the mind of the one dreaming somehow connected with the mind of the one in the dream
In that case, in dream state there should be 15 "mukha" (Mandukya verse 5 - 6)
Please explain
Heheheh the mind uses materials collected during waking and previous lives to modify itself into all unimaginable situations and things. So ejaculation and palpitations from the chasing tigers are tips of the iceberg.
Secondly, it's one mind modifying itself as all beings and immovable creatures in the dreams. It imitates consciousness of one appearance for multiple and diverse characters
Is Moksha just like being in deep sleep forever? That seems kind of depressing to me.
It is like being in deep sleep at wakeful state as well, that is not outgoing mind no anxiety no overthinking and clear seeing of conciousness in all .
When one has attained moksha, all the dualites/pairs of opposites of maya such as pain and pleasure, sorrow and happiness,... become irrelevant for one has transcended all of them. Does the screen necessarily have to FEEL something regardless of whatever movies are being shown on it? Comedy or tragedy, what's the difference, really? One is just the passive witness/observor of the drama playing out in the Matrix.
It is to feel the purest love for all existence and to truly know that it is nothing but you. It is the epitome of self-love. How could that be depressing?
Not at all. Moksha is in fact the exact opposite of deep sleep. Deep sleep is the condition of a shut down mind. Moksha is the conditioned of a realized mind. In deep sleep there is no experience. In moksha there is no objective experience but you do experience your own being, it is difficult to put it in language. Deep sleep is basically an objective experience in the sense that it is the absence of objects. Moksha is neither presence nor absence of objects, it is the subject.

I think the questioner has not understood the 'ananda' that's different from the 'ananda' of the anandamaya kosa, which is the experiential one. The atmananda which is aka sathyam-jnanam-anantham is NOT experiential. It's pure Knowing that, that sathyam - jnAnam - anantham is the real Atma which is the same of paramatma also.
And the questioner has to understand that the dream state is different from the deep sleep state.
Deep sleep is like packing back Can of worms.
