1 Viveka: discernment between eternal and non eternal.
    2 vairagya: Detachment and dispassion
3 Six fold treasure/disciples: protect mind serenity, control physical senses, to pull back from engagement from
World, focus/meditation/yogic meditation, toughness dispite suffering, faith.
4 Intense desire to be free: divine restlessness, tremendous desire for becoming best version or god and be free.

First one is Viveka. The series is important to follow as Swami Ji insisted that if we fail at practicing the 2nd, the 1st step must be worked upon. In other words, first is the base for second.

Yes, he is certainly a good professor. Please allow me to interrupt. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.

For someone who understands the depth of Vedanta, these lectures mean a lot, each word touches your soul directly. For everyone else this would mean "nice talks" or mere repetition.
Sometimes I fail to understand why people run away from truth? Why people just try to escape it in someway or the other? I blind stare at the strength of maya and the weakness of mind.

If you love God why to bothering him always for your self and if self is itself Atman so why to keep titiksha for him? What I realised whenever the cloud of dukha appears, we start seeking God? Is this a correct way to find him or titiksha for him(God) please guide. 🙏🏻

Hello Robert.... life is a series of changing body multiple times and coming again n again to learn our life lessons on earth till we finally merge in God . Those who are listening to this or any other awakening sermon in their youth must have listened to it in their old age in last life with same regretful feelings that " oh I wish I had listened to it 50 years ago ". It's never late . Divine plan for everyone is perfect. So never regret. Love from India .🙏

We should know that there is no requirement that need be met before we can choose to seek God. Seek the Kingdom of God first and all these things will be given unto thee. No defect can ever be removed except through God. It's that we think we have the power to do anything right is the very place from where our defects come. 🙏

Fourth reason: it is the journey that is enriching, not the destination. We meditate and contemplate not because we want to become jeevan mukta, but because it is an enriching practice. We eat healthy and exercise and associate with wise people for the same reason. It enriches us.

    Sir, Pranam
While practicing meditation a state comes where one realizes that he is not the body but beyond the realms of the body , although very momentary but still it happens. My question here is how can that state be prolonged and is there any higher realm beyond that, if so then how can that be realized and remain immersed in it.
Please be kind enough to answer.

Don’t mean to answer for swamiji . But as someone going through this , these are my thoughts .
Be aware of the one who wants the non dual experience.. observe that entity with full attention
Then you realize that you are this attention
And this awareness attention is always there and pay attention to this in your normal waking life as much as possible
End of the day , even wanting to go back to that peace could be the one that takes you away from the peace that is always present

To tap into and merge with the Self, no problem. Access "Mahamritunjaya mantra - Sacred Sounds" Choir. Listen to it for 5 min per day for at least two weeks. Once, Ramakrishna was walking in the garden and somebody saw him transform into Kali walking one way, and Shiva walking the other way. The lesson: use the Shiva-Shakti principle. The Mahamritunjaya mantra is the foremost Shiva mantra, from the Rig Veda.

what is the direction of enlightment?direction comes if there is space,so are there space between you and englightment?who choose me or you?what is the base of that choosing?how can i be special if i have a desire(greed) to be enlightned?the desire of enlightned is himself is a desire.so how can i be enlightned?
