You aren't supposed to leave his battle in any way, you can't flee, you can't spare, and defeating him automatically makes you fight Omega Flowey, and Omega Flowey automatically teleports you to the end room after it finishes, so if you can leave his battle with hacks or mods, you get softlocked
Holy shit this is actually a terrifying concept. Imagine being in frisk's shoes, where you are always prepared to go into battle with a new enemy, but all you get is the most ominous "But nobody came" message, then you found out they didnt exist at all
Undynes interaction with "But nobody came" is pretty hilarious, its like if Frisk or the Protagonist had hallucinations chasing them and heart attack when it meets them and repeating the cycle.
What will happen if you wear armor that you would normally not be able to get at that point in game when Papyrus asks what you're wearing in Waterfall for Undyne?
