nah this is his best work to me already. been waiting for this style to translate from live to the studio. And yes I feel you on the total shift in energy on those we’ve heard live, this been happening to me ever since Mantra 😭
@@ghxztpxppglv33 if you’re looking for that certain mood Solace is the one, but I’ve been really looking forward to his music reflecting a different outlook, not separate from the past feelings but looking at personal growth, with the past struggle in the rearview as context.
I know what you mean at the end, like when people talk about "being a man" they could be talking about masculinity or they could be talking about maturity and responsibility, and I feel Earl on this album was more expressing the latter.
I love the album, just hate how he changed up some of the songs (Sirius Blac, 27 Braids, My Brother the Wind). The unreleased versions were so much better.
Sirsus Blac and 27 braids still sound hella good tho, they have the same vibe/tone as the live versions imo. Just a slightly different pitch I usually prefer the unreleasd versions of some of his tracks but I only got that feeling with "My Brother, the wind" this time
@@takahashifugiwara7714 Only on Gala Music at the moment. It'll be released to streaming in a few weeks, except that three songs on the album will be replaced tho
we were waiting on your video my guy!
I feel like he holds his performances sacred in a way or something like that
