I just got the Ja 1 fuel last week and I compared it to my old ball shoes the pg 6. The traction on the pg 6 right out the box is absolutely great and is a little bit better than the ja 1s traction. But the pg 6 picks up much more dust and your gonna have to wipe if you want that consistent bite. However on the ja 1s the traction is great too but what I realized is that they don’t pick up much dust. With the ja 1s your gonna have a great bite on a dusty court the worst that happens is that your squeak isn’t as loud but traction is still gonna be great. For support both are good but the jas have much better support. For comfort the pg 6 is 1000 times better it’s the most comfortable shoe I ever walked in. The heel to toe transition I don’t really remember to be honest but they are both great the Ja 1s are more bouncy for sure. So they are both good ball shoes but with the ja 1s ur gonna have to break into them cus at first they feel like bricks. In my opinion the pg 6 are better they are my favourite ball shoes I ever played in. But it’s not like u can grab them for retail anymore. The Ja 1s are still a great shoe for guards tho overall I give them a 8.7 out of 10 and I give the pg 6 a 10 out of 10

I’m thinking about getting the Chinese new year Ja 1s. I have pretty high expectations for them, but I know they won’t compare to my PG 6s or Kobe 8s lol

Nike is only sending retailers one display model size (11) to fake scarcity. They never had an opportunity to sell out I've talked with managers at Phenom and Footlocker (in MN).

Just got the Fuel colorway, and yeah true to size (normal foot) is very snug compared to other shoes but it performs very well on the court. I compared it with my PG 6 of the same size, and Ja 1 is much more snug on the mid-foot area of the shoe. Traction is really top-tier with a great squeak. Relied on your review before copping this ❣
So what size do u wear and is it normal or should I get 1 size up then usual
@@DwBoutRon It is a really snug fit so If you want it to be snug get your normal size, otherwise go half a size up.

@@DwBoutRon as what @ashtonjassar6012 said, if you want a snug fit, go true. But if you want a roomier fit, go half size up. Some wide footers go full size up since it's super snug. Though after playing the JA 1 for a couple of times, it does not suffocate your feet anymore

Was able to get these and the family trivia colorway that came out today. Sized up to 13 this time around and feels so much better, 12s are boutta be my display lol

@@johnQrl yeah I’m a 12, I’d say try them on first but the full size up for me worked great. there’s not really any “break in” for them if they are too tight

Why does Nike provide so few pairs for initial drops? I get trying to hype something but people just move on to something else if they can't get their hands on them. Allow the people to buy them, Nike !

I have these in my true to size fit. I wouldn’t consider my foot wide or narrow, just average shape. I’m not sure what he’s talking about in regards to the toe box being too snug. Maybe it’s just me but these shoes fit perfectly.
Me personally i think the toebox feels a bit too snug but I think it’s just preference, some people like to have more space in the toebox and some like it to be tighter

Almost any shoe is. Ja 1 is great for outdoor.
yo i just got these in guavo colorway and i am kinda chubby yk and i have ofc have wide foot and i went true to size and it was good on length but in windess it was kinda tight so i recomend to buy + 0,5 size like fr its kinda tight

There are better options especially with KD 15 on sales right now for around the same price or lower.
kd 15 is not that better especially if you count the heel slippage. i would say if no slippage kd15=Ja 1
Nah it's not idk but these for the price feel like a way more expensive ahoe.

That heel slippage and narrow mid section , ruined a nice wild looking KD15 design. It's really bad. I don't wear the 2 I bought, just like how they look

@@dagoose. Yushuai 16v2 and 14 boom are in my mind no brainers if you like the Li-ning way of doing things and if you find you need more cushioning than the WOW10.

It’s a coo shoe for the price. That’s it. It’s not the best at well, anything. But for $110, it’s a good bargain. But don’t expect top tier for anything except traction. 🍻

Everyone on TH-cam is talking about the shoe but they wanted it to sell out in 5 minutes so for the most of us the information are useless because you cannot buy the shoe anyway and no one knows when there is going to be a restock.

Has anyone played with both Puma Clyde All Pros and the Ja 1s? Are they alike? Which is better? Hoping someone here can answer 🙏🏻
(I have only played in the jas twice so far) I like the jas better, they have pretty similar feel but I am super bias because the jas have zoom which is better than anything puma has, puma clydes were always a little hard on my knees
