Never reconcile, you will never have peace from her, your just the ATM and the kids are not yours.

Always the same refrains. Lies that doormats tell themselves to protect themselves and their own interests. "I didn't want to be a paranoid or insecure husband." I don't think you could be, you never had that luxury. You knew that the woman in front of you didn't love you. And doesn't this doormat say, "I'm not my old self." You're just another color of your old self. All men who are ready to take back a cheap woman who cheats are like that.

Why is there always a disconnect when wives ignored not just the dire warnings from their husbands about their cheatings, but their own doings that they are fully aware of were wrong.
Only when the paper is served and their APs noticing it and disappearing did they start to show realization.

These stories real or not, must include a part where that other guy should and must face consequences.

I hope he did not take the cheater back. NEVER EVER FORGIVE A CHEATER FOR ANY REASON. Do a DNA test on the kids. Once a cheater always a cheater. He is a fool if he takes her back.

Power is always in silence and if you cant handle that then you loose.

Once they cheat. IT IS OVER. IF they try to come back, always remember, you're now the second choice. The AP was No 1.. What person wants to be USED as a "last resort" back up plan for a lying cheater ??

Reconciliation can be a good thing. Vying for power within a relationship, however, is not. And the potential problem with reconciling is that the faithful spouse becomes the monitor, intentionally or not.

Reconciliation may be okay. But power struggles in a relationship are not. And the fundamental problem with reconciliation is that the faithful partner becomes the monitor, intentionally or not.

Typical “I’ll do anything”. But, they normally never consider verifiable actions are 1st priority. Most won’t even admit to themselves they are the problem.

Yes, you can test that "I'll do anything" offer in thirty seconds.
      "Fine.
      1. I'll need a written timeline of the affair, including their names, pictures, contact information, dates/times, acts, who else knew, where the children were at the time, etc. I must be signed and notarized. I'll be DNA testing the children. You must cooperate with a PI I hire, including access to your phone, all social media, bank statements, medical records, etc. You'll need to undergo STD and polygraph tests. If I'm going to consider reconciliation, I need the entire truth and I don't trust you to give it to me.
      2. I'll need you to sign off on transferring the house, cars, all our investment accounts, etc. over to my parent's names. If I'm going to risk reconciliation, you must assume all financial risks.
      3. I'll need you to give up all parental rights to the children. If I'm going to risk reconciliation, the risk of not seeing the children must be solely on you.
That's the start. They'll be more once these are done."
Within thirty seconds, you'd have your answer. "Anything" doesn't include doing anything which would actually make it more costly to cheat again.

sure... parent generally cannot take their child away without permission from the other parent, as this could be considered parental kidnapping

    • @BW022
      @BW022 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

They can. Most US states will not consider custodial interference until the couple is separated or one parent takes the child out of the jurisdiction. Most other countries are similar. However, the story is beyond silly as that wouldn't last long.
      1. After 24 hours, the police would have to treat it as a missing persons. The police would at least have to contact him.
      2. She'd clearly know what is about to happen and, since she's already disconnected from OP to her affair partner, she'd be into a lawyer's office within a day or two, and they'd make a motion to a judge to have the children returned to the home as there is separation and pending divorce.
      3. He'd get destroyed in court for taking the children out of the home.
      4. She'd then use the children against him, limiting visitation, asking for the house, child support, etc. -- with maybe an offer to drop the divorce if he stays.

Dec2024: Uh, I'm confused. Cheating wife suddenly stops speaking to husband. Was that metaphorical? Was wife glued to cell 24x7? He even tried txting her but got no response. 100% sure way to announce your infidelity and lose a husband.
Hubby takes kids and departs, natch. Only then did wife notice and respond. It would make more sense if husband had stopped speaking and wife had left with kids. Retired in Sacto.
