Canoe camping fishing the St. Regis canoe region long pond, slag pond June 2020

- In June 2020, James and I spent 5 days in the St.. Regis canoe region at Long Pond. We camped at site 8 and site 13. We hiked to Mountain pond and continued to the overlook on long pond mountain, unfortunately we had to turn back due to an unexpected thunderstorm. The fishing was good. The weather was 50/50 rain and sun. overall it was a good trip.

I stayed at that same site 7 years ago. There is a sand bar about 40 yards from shore. On a warm day it’s awesome ! Great video!

Great video. The video of coming down that mountain in the lightning storm and downpour did not capture the intensity. It was a great time and i'm looking forward to our next great adventure.
