That Bratz outfit thing reminded me of how excited I got when I found a copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban game with the movie ticket in it.
I grabbed a lot when PS2 was easy to collect for. Nowadays it is getting harder for some of my friends who want to complete the set. Thanks for watching!
Props man great collection, i'm currently trying to complete my ps2 collection and this video is a great guide to see what I have and what I need to get, thanks.

The only thing thats missing that is verrrry hard to find, is the Bully "locker" collectors edition. My ps2 collection isnt even close to half, but that collectors edition i never see. It just has so many cool random items it would figure that it may not be "complete." It is cool seeing the big collectors edition for reference, the last ace combat collectors edition was at a store for $200
Awesome collection man! I'm going for a complete set my and this video was very helpful. I'm almost at 50% now, and even with the rise in price I've still managed to find good deals on them
I really don't know what to say! ... Dis sh_tz crazy! I'll definitely finish watching your PS2 Complete Collection Series (US). Great video archive of the aforementioned, Congratulations! Very impressed, good sir. I am currently going for a complete set myself. I will have to use this to make a list, as I'm not sure if the one I am using now is complete or not. Nice work! Thanks for sharing it!
No problem! Keep in mind that there are lots of variants or deluxe boxes for some of the games in the set that even I don't have yet, but officially, this is the complete set as far as the games that were put out for it. Good luck with your complete set! Now is the time to do it since interest in the PS2 is not crazy just yet. Some titles are going up in price though! Thanks for watching!
I'm watching you vids and making notes! Very helpful! I did notice you didn't have the City Crisis variant where there was no title on the spine. I came across one a few months ago at a pawnshop so now I have both. I'm sure you are aware of it, but just putting it out there for anyone else whos going for a full set. Thanks again man!
Thanks again for the video man. I used this along with a few other lists and am getting what I believe to be a complete list with all the variants and Greatest Hits versions included. If your interested in seeing it let me know. It has a lot of the variants that you don't have (maybe you don't want :) like the movie ticket variants and bonus DVD disk variants.
Just Subscribed.. Wow dude. Awesome Job!!. I started collecting in Nov. last year... Started with 68.. Up to 706... 50 missing manuals... Two questions for you: What is the U.S. total number of PS2 games? Or NTSC , North America?? Can't seem to find a good list?? Also do you plan on collecting Greatest Hits versions?
What the difference between Def jam Fight for NY? and Def jam Vendetta? Can you please explain it to me. Because I want to know. and Where the Tomb Raider games at?
I have all US PS2 games as well...on my HDD. I also have all the good exclusive european and japanese titles for the ps2. Oh, and i also have all US gamecube, wii, DS, 3DS, PSP, PSX, DOS, Amiga and a shitload of other full game collections as well.
It took me five years to do it. PS2 is so cheap so I snagged most of them from fleas, thrifts, Craigslist and yard sales. The final games I ended up getting online because throughout those five years I have never seen them in the wild or miss out on local deals. I'm sure you will be able to complete yours soon! Thanks for watching!
+djdeus this is amazing. I didn't think it was possible. I am confused though. Is the 3800 games quoted various places all regions? I reckon trying this through eBay would be too expensive. Thanks for the video.
+George Organ I believe that covers all regions. I only went for the US set which has approximately 1900 titles if you count variants. Thank you for watching!
Anyway I could get my hands on your Consolidated list of all North American releases. I'm finishing up my collection and need a good reference guide and can't seem to find a good one.
@@djdeus .. One question if I may ? Is this an investment or is your collecting sort of like an A.D.D. ? (I mean no offense , I myself have to turn each knob on my stove 5 times each, 7 times a day before I can go to bed)
chazz Lucas after Nintendo I fell in love with the Sony PS1. PS2 followed suit and upwards to PS4. My PS1 collection is not a full set, but filled with lots of stuff I grew up playing. When PS2 dropped I continued the addiction for Sony especially with how many exclusives it had compared to the original Xbox. I decided to pay homage to Sony by at least having one complete set for that console. The OCD kicked in when it came to the variants and special edition bonus item games, plus making sure they are in alpha order according to one list I used as a guide to getting them all. :)
Maybe i need to start to collect for Ps2 as well, most of these games can be found for a couple of euro's in thrift stores and such. Plus, lots of these games are awesome! And having completed the whole effin library of the Playstation 2 is damn impressive, that's over 3800 games... (!)
+marlb0r015 The PS2 library is underrated. There are so many good titles to play. The kids love some of the games as well, so it is a library designed for all ages in our household. The US set only has about 1900 titles. I couldn't handle getting JP and EU. LOL Thanks for watching!
+djdeus I think it is mainly underrated because of the status the Ps2 and it's games have now. The Ps2 is now just an obsolete gaming console and the games are ''outdated'' i need to start collecting before it gets its ''retro'' status cause then everybody will suddenly be falling all over the shit and scream its retro so its cool!! With raising prices to be followed. And you don't have to thank me for watching, i liked the video :P
+marlb0r015 It's very underrated because everyone is so focused on Nintendo and Sega right now. That's why I have been in the background slowly getting together this library so that if it every catches hype, I won't have to worry about getting anything so high priced because I already have everything =) If it doesn't catch hype, it's okay too. I love Sony period regardless of value/worth.
What are your thoughts about switching out old beat up PS2 game cases for brand new black dvd cases? Also, are all of your games complete with manuals?
Not at all! 🙂 I love the feeling of having them all in one spot and my kids have been pulling titles that they want to play and I enjoy reliving ones that I’ve played in the past. This was the only set I wanted to complete. I wanted to complete PS1 as that is another console I enjoyed playing but it’s okay. I’m content. Thank you for watching!
I will like to get my hands on the Ace combat 5 big box edition and the Tekken 5 also with the arcade controller, also the time crisis 1 big box as well
From what I understand, that game was supposed to be the last game but it ended up being PES 2013 instead. I thought the same thing as well when I was down to to the last few games in the set and was going crazy trying to find that one. :)
Probably even longer. A lot of the places I snagged PS2 games cheap now look up every title. I went to a few places where I used to get them for a buck each and they now have them behind the counter and with individual pricing. It's sad. =(
Question.... I am also on the route to getting every PS2 game. I am about 1100 in so far, do you mind sharing your list with me via Google search drive? thanks!
If you have a good amount of "seed money" you can actually get a free collection if you're patient and know what to pick up. This entire collection is all paid for (break even plus made money). I would buy a stack of games, keep the ones I want/need, then sell the rest to break even or make money on top to get more games. I've done this over many years and my entire basement of games is all paid off (free) plus I made a bunch of money on top of that to keep going. It is possible. Thanks for watching! =)
Oh, that's not a bad idea. Seems like it would be really really REALLY long before you got a decent collection going though? How often were you buying stacks of games?
Pretty often. I mostly bought big game lots for a decent price. It took a while yes but the end goal was everything being free which was worth it! Keep in mind though I was actively hunting almost every day after work, weekends etc. I burned out pretty quickly. Also, I picked other things up that were non game related to help fund the collection. Stuff like iPods, calculators, electronics, MP3 players, walkmans, etc. Anything that I could get cheap and flip for money to use towards the hobby. ZERO savings were touched. My wife would divorce me if I laid a finger in our honeypot LOL
It's definitely a good reference point. I am missing a bunch of special edition box sets but the main focus was completing the available US library. Thanks for watching!
Mostly buying cheap at thrifts, garage sales, pawn shops, flea markets, Craigslist. PS2 was easy to acquire because most people used to sell them between 50 cents up to $2.00 on average. I did some hustling and flipped doubles and picked up stuff I knew would sell fast in order to fund this collection. My entire basement is paid for. It took a while to do it, but having a free collection is always fun!
My stance on that GH and GOTY is that if it has extra content that the standard edition does not have, I would get it, as I consider that a variant. For example, I have a regular copy of GTA SA and greatest hits because in the GH, they removed the coffee hack, so different game experience. GOTY, as long as it has the additional DLC in it, that is a different game out the package, hence a "variant" for me. Hope that helps!
can any of you guys tell me whats the game if you remember what's the game where your the boy and your in the fores kinda and you have a blind grandmother and you run around and all that
If you lived near me I would become your best friend using my sociopathic level of charm and wit. _But then!_ after a year or so of planning you would one day walk into that game room and it would be completely empty and i would never be heard from again.
So how many PS2 games are there exactly? Is there any way you can provide a list to help others out? I'm at about 500 games so far, so it would definitely be a big help.
I just researched that and that is not an official USA release. It is similar to those education packs that came out for the PS1. I only collected official releases and if I found anything not official, I added it to the collection. The completeness of the US set only contains official released titles.
Siren, Rule of Rose, the entire .hack series, Skygunner, Gradius V, Dark Cloud 1 and 2, just to name a few. There are other gems that are not expensive but fun to play too. :)
+djdeus cool, I have most of those except Siren and Gradius V. I love the PS2 but I can't justify spending money on shovelware and Barbie games but props to you for sticking it out!
+Samuel Branham I can't handle the Barbies, Dora's, etc :) but had to get them to complete the set. Same wth the 10 million Maddens and other sports games :-(
+djdeus yeah I could not handle that. Lots of other games I could buy with that money haha. But props non the less. It's cool to see it all in one place.
That is a good question! Never thought about it. I suppose if someone offered me a good amount of cash for it that is not too far off retail value, it'd go =) I haven't figured out the overall value of what I have. I think it was a bit over 10K when I last looked. Could be wrong.
@@djdeus sit on the games for another 5-6 years and the price will double - the ps2 was very popular and there will be a new generation of collectors increasing prices (it is already starting)
@@chopedandsectioned I have a completed list somewhere. I can look for it and get it to you. Greatest Hits doesn't count towards the official list. I do have some GH variants that have an extra disc or more content in the set. Also, the DDR pad bundles for an example does not count as another entry towards the "official" list. It is a double basically.
@@chopedandsectioned Thanks! I actually changed my gameroom up a lot. I'll try shooting a quick 2020 game room tour video this weekend. I still sort of collect but I also added vintage toys to the mix.
Jack Green okay I spent two days making another spreadsheet with pricing based off of Video Game Price Charting. Not including my kiosk or consoles, all the games added up to $26,329.47.
Jack Green I actually used eBay for the last remaining ones that I couldn’t find in the wild. I hated doing that but I wanted to get the set completed by a certain time frame so I could stop my focus on that and do other things. I’d say the hardest ones to get online were Xenosaga III Lenticular cover and the Bully Collectors edition. In the wild, mostly the cover variants were hard to find
Thank you for letting me know. I will have to look for that one. I will check first to see if the copy I have isn't already the movie ticket variant. Thanks for watching!

EvilCracky I went to the forums and couldn’t see pictures. Maybe because I’m on my phone. I’ll try from a PC tomorrow. Thanks for sharing! I’ve never heard of that game
PS2 Collector. It's for iPhones . They don't have an accurate count because a few PAL and JP titles somehow ended up on the U.S. list. I just use it to determine the order of how they're alphabetized so that it's easier to cross reference :)

It took a while to do it, but having a free collection is always fun!
djdeus can you please send me your list man please its my favorite system ever and i cant find a acurate list anywhere
Have you played the wii version of bully
I have not. Is there a difference in gameplay?
Thinking about going for complete ps3 collection, what's your stance on including GOTY editions?
My stance on that GH and GOTY is that if it has extra content that the standard edition does not have, I would get it, as I consider that a variant. For example, I have a regular copy of GTA SA and greatest hits because in the GH, they removed the coffee hack, so different game experience. GOTY, as long as it has the additional DLC in it, that is a different game out the package, hence a "variant" for me. Hope that helps!
djdeus thanks for taking the time to answer me back!
Now I see it.It's under neo contra.
How many are there exactly?
can any of you guys tell me whats the game if you remember what's the game where your the boy and your in the fores kinda and you have a blind grandmother and you run around and all that
If you lived near me I would become your best friend using my sociopathic level of charm and wit.
_But then!_ after a year or so of planning you would one day walk into that game room and it would be completely empty and i would never be heard from again.
So how many PS2 games are there exactly? Is there any way you can provide a list to help others out? I'm at about 500 games so far, so it would definitely be a big help.
+revertedlogic If you send me your email address in private, I can send you a master list
+djdeus Sent you a message man!
+revertedlogic Sounds good! I'll check and reply
Do you happen to still have that master list? I'm going for a full ps2 set as well.
Jimmy Rustles Me as well did you get it?
alguien sabe donde puedo comprar juegos para coleccion ps2 en chile?
Are you missing ESA foundation nfr 3pack?
what is ESA Foundation? Is that an official title?
I just researched that and that is not an official USA release. It is similar to those education packs that came out for the PS1. I only collected official releases and if I found anything not official, I added it to the collection. The completeness of the US set only contains official released titles.
@@djdeus are you on Instagram I can send you pics
these things are stadium events rare
Are Canadian games with half the box in French considered part of a complete set?
I don't count anything outside of the USA as part of the set. =)
Can you send me a list of all the north american ps2 games please im also a collector and ps2 is what i grew up playing on
What would you say are the hardest games to find that are actually worth playing?
+djdeus I love dark cloud!
how many games do you have and how do you know its a complete set im also a collector
According to another comment, 1,749 games and that is not including variants.
how much would you sell the ps2 collection for? just wondering
That is a good question! Never thought about it. I suppose if someone offered me a good amount of cash for it that is not too far off retail value, it'd go =) I haven't figured out the overall value of what I have. I think it was a bit over 10K when I last looked. Could be wrong.
@@djdeus sit on the games for another 5-6 years and the price will double - the ps2 was very popular and there will be a new generation of collectors increasing prices (it is already starting)
what is the count for US relase ps2 games?
1,749 and that is not including variants or code breaker releases.
djdeus do you have a completed list. Also that dosnt count greatest hits and regular games twice does it?
@@chopedandsectioned I have a completed list somewhere. I can look for it and get it to you. Greatest Hits doesn't count towards the official list. I do have some GH variants that have an extra disc or more content in the set. Also, the DDR pad bundles for an example does not count as another entry towards the "official" list. It is a double basically.
djdeus awsome and i love your collection, you and metaljesusrocks got me back into collecting
@@chopedandsectioned Thanks! I actually changed my gameroom up a lot. I'll try shooting a quick 2020 game room tour video this weekend. I still sort of collect but I also added vintage toys to the mix.
how much is a complete ps2 collection worth?
Jack Green no idea. I never calculated everything up. Maybe 5-10k?
Jack Green okay I spent two days making another spreadsheet with pricing based off of Video Game Price Charting. Not including my kiosk or consoles, all the games added up to $26,329.47.
@@djdeus That is alot of money. BTW what were your last few games that took you the longest to get?
Jack Green I actually used eBay for the last remaining ones that I couldn’t find in the wild. I hated doing that but I wanted to get the set completed by a certain time frame so I could stop my focus on that and do other things. I’d say the hardest ones to get online were Xenosaga III Lenticular cover and the Bully Collectors edition. In the wild, mostly the cover variants were hard to find
@@djdeus what about rule of rose?
Aren't you missing fifa 13 and 14?
What about dark chronicle?
Dark Chronicle is actually Dark Cloud 2 for the US, which is in there :)
djdeus but you can get english copy of it. And wouldn't that be considered a variant?
Trent Locke I don’t consider different regions a variant. :) my focus was purely games available in the US. I appreciate you watching good sir!
you are missing curious George the movie ticket one
Thank you for letting me know. I will have to look for that one. I will check first to see if the copy I have isn't already the movie ticket variant. Thanks for watching!
yesterday I think I found a Prototype USA PS2 game , it is listed on Zero web site's. was wondering if you had any Clue about this game. It is called Teed Off Golf By Idol Mind Studio'sit is a Golf Kart Racing game ? seems really strange, I have posted pictures on the PlayStation age Forums if you are interested to see what it looks like(playstationcollecting.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=75&threadid=178930&StartRow=1#bottom)..................would Love any Info if you know anything about this game , Wikipedia Idol Mind Studio's and the game isn't even listed on there siteReason I think its a prototype maybe is because the CD is a green colour on the bottom , almost like a 1 off Burnable CD romThe case and Cover art look very professional like any other PS2 game , but the manual is just 1 piece of glossy cardboard with Info printed on it
EvilCracky I went to the forums and couldn’t see pictures. Maybe because I’m on my phone. I’ll try from a PC tomorrow. Thanks for sharing! I’ve never heard of that game
You need to be a Member of PlayStation Age forums to see the Pictures, probably why you cannot see them
you're missing FIFA 13,14
Missing blood omen 2 legacy of kain
5:42 when it starts
what is the app called ?
PS2 Collector. It's for iPhones . They don't have an accurate count because a few PAL and JP titles somehow ended up on the U.S. list. I just use it to determine the order of how they're alphabetized so that it's easier to cross reference :)
You dont have fifa 13 and 14
PS3 full set is quite impossible. Because of NBA elite 11, only nine people can full set the system.
Hð rizon why is limited copy
pal set is harder to compleat
+NerdDoes PS2 I'm sure it is, but my focus was USA =)
Are you going to collection pal exclusives
what the the most expansive us game
+Nerd Collects Playstaion The most expensive US game(s) so far are Rule of Rose, .hack Quarantine. Jurassic Park Op Genesis is getting up there in price.

rule of rose is £200 in the uk(pal)

Pretty much. I am so glad I am done.
Alfa Ro-may-oh. I don't know why Americans can't say it properly.
