Re: NHL 2004's covers. From Wikipedia: "Picking a cover athlete for NHL 2004 proved to be problematic. Joe Thornton was the original choice but after he was brought up on assault charges, he was removed and replaced by Dany Heatley (guy in the red jersey) for the game's first shipments. After Heatley's car crash that killed his Atlanta Thrashers teammate, Dan Snyder, EA removed him and replaced the cover with Joe Sakic (guy in the blue jersey) but not before a large number of units had already been shipped in the months prior. As a result, both covers (Heatley and Sakic) made it into circulation."
The Jampack variants for each volume are actually different on the disc. Most of the volumes had a variant that included M-rated demos alongside a version that replaces those demos with more family-friendly games (essentially a clean version)
My guy awesome collection. Just wanted to know if you had the Scarface Target exclusive big box bundle. It came with a tshirt. I have one and I can’t find any info on it.
I'm guessing that all or most of those NFL NBA and NHL games were fairly easy to find and cheap. Every other week I buy 12 to 15 racing games and a couple RPGs. I'm saving the NFL NBA MLB NHL and WWE games for when I finish up my collection. My question to you is would you recommend a complete PS1 or PS3 collection after finishing a PS2 collection?
+1979WSchamps I'd say PS1 since the library is done with releasing. PS3 is still releasing titles and that one I think is going to be a nightmare for any completionist. I am not touching it any time soon LOL I might finish PS1 since I've already gotten so many titles for it, but I want to enjoy the library of games and play some instead of having another goal. And yes, all the filler sports were 25 cents upwards to a dollar each. I got some off eBay from JJ Games for 2-3 free shipping too.
now open all the cases to prove the games are actually in there...pop them into your ps2...and play. joking...insane collection! Have you played every single game?
+Wayne Kline Nice! That was one of the last ones I had to get for the set and then I find one cheaper at a local game store. LOL That damn instant gratification backfire going on =)
+djdeus yw also awesome collection thu u sounded nobunaga name wrong lol OO also i was lucky to get sakura wars big box one day for cheap after some trades got it for neer $20s
