Nothing against the Simonini engines but they are two strokes and that isn't always an advantage. Two stroke engines last hundreds of hours four stroke usually thousands of hours between overhauls. I fly a two stroke and appreciate the power to weight advantage. That said they are a bit more "fussy" as far as maintenance and require more attention to detail.

This was a VW based motor.
how about that superbly strong simonini victor series. same power outpit but less weight and only two strokes
for the price of the kit i think it would be cheaper to look for something else
