For the crank shaft sensor it is 800 ohm to 1200 ohm. Set your meter to 1K Ohm and bolt the sensor back in place. You measure from the end of the coaxial wire where it plugs into the EZL. For the cam shaft one I am at a loss as I am not aware there being one for the 03 from 86-90.

I bought a 1987 560 SL that has very low fuel pressure ( 3.2 MB ) I have replaced the fuel pumps, filter and accumulator, fuel distributor and the injectors. After all this done the pressure will not change. Can you please help me
Great to hear from you, Joe. The most straight forward method to figure out what is going on is to start measuring the fuel pressure closest to the pumps. How and where did you measure the fuel pressure? Make sure to avoid spilling fuel as this is a fire hazard, but I would jumper the fuel pump relay such that the pumps run full time and then pick up fuel pressure closest to the pumps. If the fuel pressure is still very low this is either the pumps not working correctly (even with "new" pumps) or the fuel strainer in the tank is restricted. That would be odd but is still a possibility. If you picked up the fuel pressure at the fuel distributor it is also possible that the little fuel filter hidden in the fitting where the supply side connects. That little beast is often overlooked. I have a 1986 W126 420SEL that starts and stalls cold and also stalls while driving so can’t really go anywhere with it, I just did the pressure test and have only 5.25 bar of working pressure and it does not leak down, it holds at 3.2bars after running the pump, with the valve open on tester and car running it goes up to 6 bars and when valve is open it stumbles runs poorly seems to be very lean but spark plus are all very black as though running very rich! I tried adjusting the EHA by turning the 2mm screw clockwise a couple of times 1/4 turns but it didn’t change the system pressure at all. Shouldn’t the working pressure from the pump be at least 6bars to start with?
Delivery pressure of the pump should be 5.5 to 7 Bar. The fuel distributor pressure is 5.3 Bar. There should not be any fluctuation. So here this may be a defective fuel pressure regulator. It could however be acerbated or also be caused by a bad pressure accumulator (near the pumps). The EHA settings control the fuel differential pressure and really only comes into play when you accelerate or decelerate the car. Try making sure that you have consistent and correct fuel pressure by trouble shooting the fuel system one part at a time from the fuel tank onward. Good luck.
hello, these are great videos. i am wondering if you can add a tip on re installing the eha valve. do you need to remove the 2 hard high pressure hoses which wrap around the eha valve to the fuel distributor and how do you make sure the 2 green o rings are properly seated as you replace the eha valve to the fuel distributor?
You need not remove any other hoses or tubing in order to loosen the two EHA screws. The O rings are in proper position and in good shape if they slightly protrude from their grooves and the rubber is still pliable. if the pressure is not at 6 bar to start with how do you bring it back to 6 bar, what is the fuel range pressure for a gen 2 500 sec,my 500 sec has no problems starting or running but I feel it is not providing full power, even first gear pull no spin from the wheels and it is a 265hp hi compression engine
@@sas8403 Use the hose/gauge kit and you will need to put in a temporary T before the fuel filter. I you are not sure how then I would go to a reputable Benz shop and let them measure the fuel pressure.
I’m the guy how’s EHA was unplugged on the SEC 500 , The only problem I have now is My car stutters while driving and mostly when in cruise control like as if for a second the breaks are applied softly for a sec. Hard to describe. Could this video help me solve that? Maybe it’s getting to much fuel or to little fuel? also just nearly passed emission also that might be a clue. Any help would be amazing as always. This very it excellent thank you once again.
Oh boy. The symptoms you are describing can have quite a few root causes. Do you know who or why someone disconnected the EHA in the first place? Did you check raw fuel pressure and the fuel pressure differential?

Did you disconnect the electrical connector on the Cold Start Valve so it would not spray fuel?
Not needed as this type of work is best done with a engine at operating temperature.

My emission result was CO 3.44 vol % and HC 685ppm if this help?
