    I was a tree hugging pagan for years and a tarot reader and astrologer and into faerie. Then I found out I was violating the 1st Commandment and gave up my career and did deliverance prayers. Then Jesus appeared to me in a tsunami of love! So those faeries are a debased image of angels. Of course the Irish have always been afraid of faeries, but not of angels. So!

    I have seen in other videos that we should not "name" our Guardian Angel because naming implies authority over someone or some thing, which we don't have over our Guardian Angel.

      We were just told this in Mass last week: to name our Guardian Angels… It didn’t seem correct at ALL… who am I to NAME my Guardian Angel???

    • @wishIwuzskiing
      @wishIwuzskiing 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@AEM479 exactly right. We have to keep a catechism in our homes so we always have access to the teachings of the Church. There will be errors taught in and outside of the church, especially in darker times. As was written in Timothy, there will come a time when people will accept many false teachings.

    I’ve always heard we should not name our Guardian Angels. You mentioned asking them for their name to gain inspiration. I’m worried someone might be inspired by an evil spirit when doing this. Your thoughts?

      Father Michael Schmitz's video about the Guardian Angels said that we shouldn't name our Guardian Angel. Look up Opus Sanctorum Angelorum- Church approved ministry. They also say that we shouldn't name our Angel because we don't have the authority

    ❤ First, I would like to thank you for such a very Beautiful and Informative lecture on the Angels and Guradian Angels. - - Would like to add that I have always been an Environmentalist, my whole life, and at the same time have many traditional Catholic values. I never saw any contradiction to this. God created this beautiful earth and when we protect it, we are protecting His very own creation by maintaining diversity of plants and wildlife, along with protecting our health with clean air and clean water. That's not worshiping nature, that's common sense. It's simply treating this amazing gift that was given us in order for us to survive and thrive "well". (Obviously, "dark side" religions leave God out of the equation. And Underneath their "worship" of nature, some are actually behind the " poisoning" of nature, not protecting it. Not that surprising when one knows what is at the "root" of many "new age" religions, and that their rhetoric is often just a facade). - God Bless our Angels.

    I am very curious about the nature of "battle" between angelic beings, since they are pure spirits. Is it similar to a heated argument between people but far more intense?

    • @EdwardKnight-ll5ze
      @EdwardKnight-ll5ze 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If it's the good angels battling each other, it must be in really intense competitive romantic dancing because they both believe they can generate more beauty than the other.

    • @philalcoceli6328
      @philalcoceli6328 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @EdwardKnight-ll5ze That's your hypothesis, but there's no romantic dancing in which angels have to compete, whether you are joking or not. When Jesus described Satan's battle in Heaven as he was thrown out with his evil angels, he describes bolts of lightning, and like lighting he was thrown down from Heaven. A true angelic battle not a talent show competing for a medal.

      @@philalcoceli6328 Plus, "have to" is incorrect. If that was a very good way to glorify, they would freely "want to."

    • @wishIwuzskiing
      @wishIwuzskiing 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@philalcoceli6328 I agree with you. This is a battle for eternal happiness and peace... or... eternal hell fire and misery beyond understanding. I dont' see anything lighthearted about this. And that is the battle we are in as well. We can be joyful warriors in this battle, the Church militant, but by no means is it a care free and casual confrontation. The final disposition is eternal... one way or the other.

      Yes, I agree with those who are saying this initial comment is rude and uncalled for. I hope you someday develop a disorder that you can't control and then as you're otherwise trying to live as normal a life as possible, someone else tries to "constructively" criticize you by telling you that if you could just stop bothering them with your symptoms, that would help.
