    A proper head-unit can dramatically modernize a car. An older Mustang being a good example.

      Absolutely agreed. Even though I still think the body style of the S197 holds up to the modern standards of today the old calculator radio needed to go as it’s the most hindering aspect of the s197

    Thank you so much for the review, I watched your old video about this head unit and made me buy it and im very happy with it!
    Just quick question, how did make the shortcut of the zlink and the air conditioning?

      You are absolutely awesome. So glad you enjoy it. So here is the thing. ZLINK needs the phone to be plugged into the included USB port to pair once then you can use it wirelessly. I wish it was made more clear about that in the instructions but it is whatever. As for the AC mine just came up but if you go into the device settings and hit pair to car it should come up as well. Glad you enjoyed the review and enjoy it!

    Where are the seat warmer buttons?

      My car is the FULLY loaded mustang with every option but heated seats lol. If you have them and configure the radio to your car in the settings it'll show the seat heaters

    Did you have to change any protocols in the settings? I got my radio installed and plugged everything in, but none of the physical buttons worked until I found a certain protocol in the factory settings. I got the knobs working, but my A/C blows really low and I can’t make the fan blow harder.

      @@smoke9047 that’s very weird. I did not. I just had to set it to my car so it recognized it as a Mustang as it’s a basic android radio in that case but that’s it

      @@beepbeepmichael yea its really weird, there's so many different protocols for my model mustang. I guess i'll just have to go through them all until I get the right one. Thanks for the quick reply.

    What is that cord hanging from behind of the radio?

    • @beepbeepmichael
      @beepbeepmichael  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mvpsl4y3r22 that is the cord that has the USB on the end of it where I have the USB C plugged into for my iPhone. You could run it cleanly through the glove box but since my radio doesn’t fit in perfectly (I got more into detail about that in the first video with it) that I saw no reason to take the dash apart to run it cleanly

      They ditched the 321 after the 2010 model when they redesigned the engine to the 3.7L v6 from the 4.0
