Thanks for the video and your time deicated to share info. Upon viewing the first section tabs are on the fork one way and then when installing the fork through the tranny the tabs are set on the bearing another way? Phrasis like, SOMETHING LIKE THAT, THIS GUY HERE. Dosent leave me with a whole lot of confidence
Lmao I struggled for literally 30 mins putting it in the opposite way. Is the last direct he shows. Obviously you don’t need this information but I’m sure someone next time will.
I removed pilot bushing .No pulling ! Just am impacted drill drove medic bolt into pilot bushing and pilers to wiggle out ! 5 minutes 98 frontier 2wd 5speed
So I have a question 2 years later haha. @3:01 you clean up that shaft. It’s on a plate bolted in there. Mine was snapped off when I opened mine up yesterday. WHAT IS THAT PART CALLED PLEASE!!! ANYONE! Lol
Well damn. I thought I was getting some help. I forgot there aren't any good people out there to help a person without getting paid. Never-ending. I am a 71 year old woman needing help. I will go elsewhere. Maybe the truck will fall on me ND I wint have to worry about it any more
Thanks man. I sat in my garage realizing there were 4 ways I could install that bearing clip. Your vid answered my question of which way was right.
This is informative because you show the spring going in the wrong way at first 1 star

thank you for the suggestions! mine went together easy-peasy after watching and imitating how you did it! peace
At one point the clip ears are facing inwards towards the fork then they are placed facing outwards later. Which one is it?

You can pack bread behind it too, put a socket in the center and hammer away.

Hey mate after installing the fork to the engine it's impossible to move back and forward with hand. My engin is in the ground btw. Is this normal.
Thats fine. You should have about .005inch of play which is next to none.
@@JaboTheMechanic thanks mate
Nice video. Thanks
But how do you take the bearing off?
Just pull it, some resistance is normal.
How much its that labor cost??? 🙏🏻

You should probably know what you're doing before you try and make a video showing people how to do it.
