@@Mrs.Allen.81 he asked me out :) (keep in mind this guy is 6 foot smth for a freshmen and is pretty built. he's the only piccolo player in my band now) Safe to say he's one of the most normal people in my entire band
As a flute player who plays saxophone I sadly can’t relate. But I have set a rule for myself. Don’t date other band players… you will have to see them every day for the rest of band if it ends not well
Great video😂 I'm a clarinet player through high school then picked up saxophone after. This hits the nail on the head. My son plays saxophone in middle school. I can't wait to show him this video 😂
As a college student who's been playing saxophone for nearly 8 years now, the slowly falling forwards while playing still comes back to haunt you while alone in a practice room.
As a flute player who learned Alto Sax to be able to play in Jazz band as soon as I saw Bari Sax and Bass Sax I fell in love! I kind of started to bug my band teacher begging to let me switch to bari…. Which happened recently. Also, since I wanted to play my flute music on sax I tried it was a bit confusing seeing a note on the staff and having to read it as another but it was easy know what to play Flute: C Saxophone: A
@ I play it for concert! And got into honors band with it! I have a plan already set up for high school and how I’ll be playing my instruments in different forms of bands
@@Mrs.Allen.81 Makes sense. I played on soprano for the first time today and now that I'm thinking about it I can really see where you're coming from. Its sound is just so much more different from anything else that it would only really make sense in solos and maybe doubling the oboe part.
As a saxophone player in my first concert they got the song i was practicing so i was mad when i saw this comment but then i realized “i do have so many parts” the other instruments need to respect the brass section
As a saxophonist, these are all indeed true (a flute actually crushed on me when i played careless whisper for the first time?)
Incredible story 🤣
Ooooh and then what happened?!

Mrs.Allen my birthday is in 3 days!
I have seen or done 99% of these
I’m buying a Clarinet neck strap
Random question but have u ever taught ur students conducting and have they ever conducted a band? Honestly, i wanna try it. It seems fun
Yes, at the end of 8th grade.
@ ooo wow

Why did you never want to buy a soprano sax?
IMHO it just isn’t needed in band

The saxophones are always the main part in band😢
