Years from now, robots walk the streets like humans, on alert for danger. They hear a shootout and charge in to save the innocent. One turns to the other "Remember. We capture them alive. *Never* kill a human!" Other Robot "Let's do this, Kemosabe".

Hey everyone grew up watching this show Lone ranger and still today this day gives me a warm feeling of a hero if only we had a real hero today we need one are would gladly take the part..in..helping the world.
A joy to watch - 1949, and because it was shot on film it looks like it could have been made yesterday. Lovely snippets of classical music - the William Tell overture of course, but there's also others including The 1812 Overture! So who was that masked man, that lone ranger, could he have been John Reid? KAN

Since there were murders that he was responsible for, and probably a major reward for him, either a local trial and hanging or transfer him to authorities offering the reward for them to try and hang. The gang most likely just got the local trial and then off to the nearest trees.
You'd be surprised at just how poor shots the majority of people and just how unreliable the majority of the weapons were back then. Hollywood created many a myth of the old west in TV shows and movies to increase the drama.
