I’m in a real meltdown with this episode.. cannot help but feel for Colleen bless her heart 😢😢😢 I couldn’t ever imagine loosing my whole world like that😢😢
Some amazing acting from Judith mcgrath in this episode. Her anguish and grief at losing her entire family is absolutely heartbreaking to watch. A fantastic performance from a wonderful actress who is sadly missed.
That Aussie eisteddfod is quite different to the ones here in Wales ... “Old MacDonald” lol Just clocked who Dr Weissman reminds me of .... an older Barry Williams aka Greg Brady from The Brady Bunch. **ducks** RIP Judith McGrath 🌹
A parents worst Nightmare. No Parent Should loose their children. Poor Mrs Powell. 😔💔😔💔😔💔😔Completely Heartbreaking. Couldn't wish that nightmare on anyone.
It's that fat Bryant that encourages them and she is so flat and out of key. Had to laugh when she attempted to play the piano, it's obvious she can't play
Fantastic acting from Judith McGrath, I have no idea why she was such a minor character in the early seasons. May she Rest In Peace as well as Judy McBurney (Pixie)
Oh, has Pixie died! In real life? 😭 I googled, that's so sad. Every time I see her now, it will be tinged with sorrow. Her performance in this show warms my heart. She always cheers me up. 😭
Rick is very lucky Coleen didn't savagely bash the shit out of him. If I were her I would have. I can't imagine the trauma Coleen is experiencing the poor lady. For some reason it seems all the sadder now that Judith McGrath is dead.
Youre right. Rick is to blame for the deaths of Colleens family. If Rick hadn't been stalking them crims and sticking his nose in police business, his car would never have been booby-trapped and Colleens family would not have been killed. Though on the day of the funeral, I think it did hit Colleen that the bomb was meant for Rick not her family.
@@jessicaj8564 thing is, Rick had a score to settle, they killed his fiancé. His wasn’t sticking his nose in for the hell of it. He wasn’t too know what would happen
Talk about rehashing a storyline - the exact same thing happened to Fletch the Letch and his family. That's some lazy writing but with that said the actress playing Po Face knocked it out of the park. Easily the most heartbreaking episode of the entire series so far.
Phyllis has always been a long way down in my estimation but this time she has really hit rock bottom. Grabbing that child with a gun in her hand just typifies what a coward she really is. If she has any sense at all (which I doubt) then she will let that kid go unharmed, otherwise she won't get a moments peace inside once she is eventually recaptured.
The problem with watching a show like this is when you watch it all at once. When it ran originally it ran once or twice a week and it ran over years and years. When you watch one episode right after another in a binge, like a lot of people do, things get on your nerves, that never happened in the original run.
Judith Mcgrath excelled in this episode. It would've been good if Jim was still at Wentworth to support Colleen - as he would totally be able to support her.
Jesus Christ, I’m crying already, it’s only the start of the episode..I cannot help but feel for Colleen.. the poor women 😢😢The acting from Judith McGrath is absolutely brilliant, she’s a brilliant actress. X
Judith McGrath was always my favourite Prisoner Actress,That sad music at 14.21 makes it even more sad knowing that she has died in Real life,Such a fabulous actress,
Such a sad episode. Colleen's family being blown up like that. Just brutal. And Colleen very uneasy at work in the time leading up to that. She's having a rotten time.
21:57 - So what was he waiting for...? 39:09 - Well that was convenient. And if the surprise coffee had not been given to them how exactly did Reb plan to use the tranquillisers...?
I think this Colleen story line would have been better if they had spared one of her kids, probably the son and then shown Colleen having to deal with her own grief as well as help her son with his. But Judith McGrath was stunning in this episode with a very powerful performance. As for old mcdonald it was annoying enough already but it doesn't sit comfortably with the rest of the episode either now. If its meant to be some sort of light relief it fails cos its just annoying lol
agreed Markxxx way too many storylines done two or three times over... sisters doing time for each other, the tar n feathers n many many more... its like one writer copied anothers work and just altered it a lil each time
Another wow. l had to stop and make a comment :great acting job by Judith. May she rest in peace. Also great acting by Elspeth sucking it up and going on the bus trip .I always said Meg was in fact the strongest character in the show. What a crazy ending.
13/8/17 - In the immediate aftermath of the bombing and death of Powell's family. Because of the shock that she must be feeling, I think that mustachios man would feel worse, than Powell. Only initially, maybe the first few days and weeks as Powell is overwhelmed by the immense shock. Cause Manning would feel so guilty because it should have been him blown up and his meddling in other people's business led to the death of her family. Phylis has got nearly a 1/3 of a cake on her plate! 😳
Kajagoogoo, "Too shy shy, hush hush, eye to eye." I used to enjoy listening to that song. Follow the bus with the Old McDonald singers. There goes the microphone swinging above everyone at 24:50. Ha, ha! Mrs. Barry killed 10 people. LOL! Cass mooooed when she should've hooooonked! Asleep at the wheel. Not a good thing. Hunt is so stupid!
Meg asks the bus driver, "Are you alright? Don't seem your usual self?" Odd thing to say to someone you've only just met. The woman running the singing competition is James Reyne's mother.
Whys fat Bryant stopping Reb from escaping it's twice she's done it now she went off at Bea when she stopped Andrea, I remember her saying there's no excuse to put a stop to anyone's freedom regardless . All Judy does is threaten to lag on any competition and expects all the women to be goodie two shoes.
All those rehearsals we had to suffer yet we don't get to see the final performance! Colleen, for her own safety, should be sedated and put to bed. At the moment she's more likely to do something stupid either to herself or to someone else (ie Rick).
Ann is a bit tactless saying to colleen that she lost her own husband, but Ann didnt lose her kids along with her husband in a car bomb meant for someone else.
I hate when the writers patronized the inmates by treating them as if they were children, case in point making them sing Old Mac Frigging Donald! I also hate it when they make the officers uncharacteristically docile and stupid to facilitate something like an escape plot, case in point Officers Morris & Barry letting those women off the bus to stretch their legs, do they have any prison officer experience whatsoever or is this their first day on the job?
Colleen tore my heart out. That primal scream of utter despair and grief was heart wrenching. What an actress.
Yeah, that was heartbreaking
I’m in a real meltdown with this episode.. cannot help but feel for Colleen bless her heart 😢😢😢 I couldn’t ever imagine loosing my whole world like that😢😢
@@sarahkorver2439 I am with you completely. xo
Judith McGrath was amazing in these episodes. Great actress such a heart breaking storyline but she did it justice.
It's fantastic. One of the best performances of the series.
OMG Colleen I could really feel the pain and shock. Incredible acting. I hope she received an award for that!
Bet that's what got her the all saints role?
All the scenes with Judith felt so real! Amazing acting
Indeed another fine actress gone
I know I'm kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to stream new movies online?
@Maddox Landyn i use Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
Incredible acting from Judith McGrath here. But what a ludicrous ending!
I keep playing Judith's scene @6:35 over and over. It is a master class in acting. Not one false second. Brilliant. RIP

Judith McGrath owned this episode. Best acting from her in the series so far. Damn near had me crying. This ending though...
NativeMoon she was fantastic! I love Judith!

It’s awful, I know her pain 😢
If I hear old macdonald had a farm one more time........!!!!!! 😤
Grrrr haha
Wayne Whittaker I agree.
Just be glad it wasn't Midnight Special again...
It's that fat Bryant that encourages them and she is so flat and out of key. Had to laugh when she attempted to play the piano, it's obvious she can't play
Yes and what are the odds of another group singing it too? Lol
I've lost count of the times I've watched this & Colleen's scream always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!
I was just thinking the same. Only scene that ever gives me goosebumps
They echo sound effect added to the scream was a very good move. I had to repeat that scene.
Fantastic acting from Judith McGrath, I have no idea why she was such a minor character in the early seasons. May she Rest In Peace as well as Judy McBurney (Pixie)

people can say what ever they like or want about PO face but no parent deserves to see their children die especially like that
this programme is so addictive love it whos still watching in 2021 ?

Me - I’m addicted! The episodes from about 380 have been soo good!!

That handshake!!! Lol cass is a crack up!
+Rachael Lamport Lol

The women would kill her for kidnapping a child for any reason.
Po face's acting is good...Mass AWOL at the end there...Phyllis is long overdue a good stomping.
RIP Joy Westmore aka Mrs Barry aka Mrs Pringle aka Joycey, wonderful actress and character.
The thought of Mrs Joyce Barry as an axe murderer...what a great up-and-coming storyline!
The person that plays Colleen can act
Omg! Watching Colleen Powell's storyline is so breaking my 💔💔💔😢
Lou Kelly and Lutch still in the background...one of the best episodes is when Lurch sings and dances at the talent show
Sick to death of people grizzling about prisoner, if you don't like it don't watch it. Simple
the characters were purposely made to "not be too likable"
it fun to comment on it !
Every long-running series has its ups and downs, but on the whole, Prisoner is the BEST!
I watched this show when we first got in on Televioson
The problem with watching a show like this is when you watch it all at once. When it ran originally it ran once or twice a week and it ran over years and years. Markxxx we'll said. I totally agree. I wrote the same things in the comment section.
They're all a bit free with Meg's drinks cabinet
Bob darling brought back a LOT of duty free from Indonesia
What glee club would be singing Old McDonald in a competition? Aparently the writers were not familiar with glee clubs.
+JustBeing Me yes but the producers were familiar with copy write......
I cried watching Collen suffering at the loss of her family
Judith Mcgrath excelled in this episode. It would've been good if Jim was still at Wentworth to support Colleen - as he would totally be able to support her.
I thought it was funny that the women said Mrs Barry was an axe murderer
Bobby and Phyllis talking to that older sheila about Mrs. Barry, funny
Colleen's scream that goes through the opening credits LOL
You thought that was funny!? Really?!
A very convincing performance from the late Judith McGrath. As for Saint Meg, the thought of her with a gun seems incongruous.
Poor Po-face. Love or hate her, what a terrible thing to happen.
Cass dam near tore that lady's arm off when shaking her hand. LOL!!!
Why the hell did they choose old mcdonald?
Love Judy's hysterical "Are you out of your _miiiiind_ ". Some of Judy's neurotic moments are always worth a rewind.
that inspector with the tache looks like a character from Little ?Britain played by Matt Lucas
The episodes are quite intense i love them!
Top performance from Judith McGrath (Colleen Powell)! Tina Bursill (Sonia Stevens) giving an incredible performance too.
Well, the start of this has me in tears....DAMN!!
This show is I N T E N S E !
Any song but old macdonald it's killing me.
Some heartbreaking acting by Judith McGrath in this episode. Po Face didn’t deserve to have her family killed like that
Haha Phyllis cracks me up.... Hilarious😂
...omg...Pow....her family....tears...weeping...😧😢😥😥😥
How much cake can Phyllis pack away?!
Dr. Weismann is just so dreamy! And that hair of his, OMG! I’ve always thought he was such a dream!
Wonderful acting 👏 poor Mrs Powell 😢
I'm hating the Coleen story line. It's sad what happened to her family. I wish the writers left her family out. It serves no purpose.
Colleen @ 6..35…. Is by far the best , most convincing acting of the whole series . Breathtaking. What an actress !!
If I were one of the prisoners I'd dance around Colleen chanting your family is dead, bait her into hitting me and get the sack 😂
Mrs Barry reminds me of a Dolly Peg" I can just picture her on a washing line.
Shadegat3 She looks like a turtle with down syndrome!
tsh85 That's funny.
😂🤣😂🤣🤭🇬🇧♥️♥️♥️🐊🐊🐊
Lol why are grown ass people singing old MacDonald? Lol
Probably the only thing Judy could play
Mass exodus at the end ,keystone cops in full effect! Still no word of Pixie, looks like she's gone inter state! :D

I wonder how Meg will react when she finds out that the whole of Wentworth have been drinking her booze
Damb! Judith McGrath plays that part well. Made me blub a bit.
Rick's car was a bit of an old banger!
Who did phyliss make up and the size of that cake on her plate 😂😂😂🎂🎂😂
They tortured megs character, collens character and haze!s. Relentless!!!

what the heck?!?!? We didn't even get to hear them at the competition???? I guess we've heard enough of them thru out the show, but dang.
Is Old MacDonald's Farm the only song that Australian prisoners know?
Loved the Kajagoogoo reference
Is Bobbie's hairstyle based on Kajagoogoo?
Roger Harris The Bus driver for that Glee club visit, played 5 other roles.
Its only 7 minutes into the episode and ive already been crying enough to arouse my cat's attention :( This is gonna be so sad
Reb her face when they start singing 😗😙
God how old are these people kids sing them sort of songs lol
+maxine roberts yes it is a kids sone, but at least the producers don't have to pay copy-write, I think it is a darling song
ohh why couldnt they of sung the midnight special shine your love on me ...let the midnight special shine love on me LOL:D
chavyprince Yess! Lol I miss Margo, where'd she go?
Barnhurst aka written out of the show
chavyprince lmao...nearly spat my tea out!
This is an exact duplicate story line of when Mr Fletcher lost his family through a bomb 2
Who knew Old McDonald was so popular.
That shifty side-eye at 34:00! The old girls must have been gossiping about Phyllis and Bobbie's claims about Mrs Barry!
“Cheryl what’s in your lunch box” 😂
The glee trip like being in charge of a bunch of kids
Kajagoogoo, "Too shy shy, hush hush, eye to eye." I used to enjoy listening to that song. Follow the bus with the Old McDonald singers. There goes the microphone swinging above everyone at 24:50. WHAT THE FUCK WOULD THEY SING THAT SONG FOR.
The 'singing the same song' plot reminds me of Jeeves and Wooster.
All those rehearsals we had to suffer yet we don't get to see the final performance! Colleen, for her own safety, should be sedated and put to bed. At the moment she's more likely to do something stupid either to herself or to someone else (ie Rick).
murder isn't the right charge for Myra. manslaughter seems more appropriate. why was Myra in the slammer the first time?
I actually don't know and unsure if anyone ever said.
Attack of the floating boom mic again.
Colleen a great performance.
Feel so sorry for Colleen. Like Jim Fletcher. Both tragic storylines.
Ann is a bit tactless saying to colleen that she lost her own husband, but Ann didnt lose her kids along with her husband in a car bomb meant for someone else.
Prisoners on day release to go sing old McDonald! Only in prisoner lol.

almost the same thing happened to Fletcher. His wife & kids got blown up via a parcel being delivered, that was mean't for Fletch himself
