Her not showering meant she had to go into a lot more detail at trial and made it much more difficult to get prosecutions. Maybe she's doing that oft mentioned human trait of reflection and learning by her mistakes? It happened to me once. My father, as a child, stroked a stray dog and got bit. So when I went to do the same thing he told me not to bother. Insane, I know.
I've never liked the character of Meg the Saint Meggerton,of Megsville! She's insufferable, whether being as holier as thou,or not so bothered about anything as in these latter episodes. She could have really helped Lori, for once, having been raped herself, but,no, barely a whimper from her.Her voice annoys me with it's well pronounced diction, and all the way through the series she's done nothing to cover up the fact that she's actually Bjorn from ABBA!🤬🤭🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️🐊🐊🐊
How in the world is a rape victim left alone and without police protection? And has the ability to take a shower?? I love this show, but I have to call them on this one. lbvs

Craven is a right bastard!...The actor portrays his character well...A sensitive subject for any women, but this episode was intense!...I seriously had to remind myself that ' Craven ' is an actor and you know he does his job well, because i hate him with a passion!...lol...Dwyer's investigation as he questions Lori...So wrong on so many levels...Intense, but great acting done by all!
Meg- "What the hell's wrong with you"??? I don't understand why Meg was written this way this episode. She has always been so understanding to the women throughout the series. To tell Lorelei off for showering is dreadful and something I just can't see the character doing. Of all the people who should understand it's Meg. She even did exactly the same thing (showering) after she was raped and she said to the policewoman that she knew she shouldn't have before she was properly examined but she just couldn't bare not showering and longer.
Work it out . She knows how Lori feels and probably wants the men hung for it . Angry and frustrated that she washed away any chance of him/them being caught
@@katcox6127 Probably still not the kindest way to talk to a rape victim though. Especially from a character that has consistently been written as sympathetic. I completely understand your interpretation though.
While i am totally against Cravens brutal and unlawful methods, you've also got to look at the other side and can't help feel Reynolds is running Wentworth like a Day Care centre!!
They are paying for there crimes by losing there freedom, making life unpleasant for them certainly wont equip them for a normal life when they return to society
Andy JS Most likely because of the rape. And actually there is at least 2 other episodes missing from that certain playlist. But thankfully others uploaded those missing episodes.

i love the way Ray Meagher plays Craven. If you pay attention at 9:03 there is this bit where Kath is like ''listen governor this is what i think you should do'' and she is being all serious about it. The way he just stands there casually listening with the cigarette in his hand. Its like he just doesn't care ,he finds it all amusing. Very funny.
I'm glad they didn't show Lorelei. Seeing Pixie and Meg especially go through it was bad enough. Surely she would have known it was 'Stud', since he's called stud for a reason.
I used to love going to the pet shop in the mall. I used to look at the puppies and the birds. I used to beg for a Canary but my mum always says " Birds are nasty." But I still would love one.
Joan once AGAIN proves what a complex character she is going from Darth Ferguson (Emperor Ernest Palpatine's minion) to full of remorse when visiting Lori in the infirmary. Really enjoying this batch of episodes, given the show a new breath of much needed fire. As for the police Doctor coming to do further tests on Lori, where the bloody hell are they coming from, Aberdeen? I could get from London to Melbourne quicker, lol. With Craven on the scene I am now reminded why I really loved it when Jock Stewart was around. I didn't think I would but I think I will pretty quickly start all over again, but will probably watch at a quicker rate second time around (been watching since 5th November 2022 and it is now the 2nd of January 2024).... Fair dinkum. So, Joan becomes acting Governor in eps 670, I wonder what will happen in 692? Well, I already know, but still excited nonetheless as though I had not seen the last episode before.
That Officer Adams is so dumb!! You can't get laid from a prisoner that NEEDS your help?? This whole puppy dog story arc has been funny and sad to watch!! rofl lmao

Ray Meagher who played evil and sadistic Ernest Craven. Ray appeared three times in Prisoner playing three very nasty characters. Originally as Jeff Butler in the early days of Prisoner who was a crazied ex-veitnam vet. Second as a mob/pimp Karl Rennar and finally as Craven. I love joan acting and getting up craven over governor position.
I think there’s a bit of Merle in all the characters, except Maxwell keeps her line.
Yeah and later on Lurch says the same about Merle behind her back.. lol Looks like they secretly admire each other!
Meg of all people should not be having a go at Lorelei for showering. She did exactly the same thing herself.

LOL @Rodney's comment 'The Prisoners don't have to escape, they just wander off!' 😂😂😂
Why do they choose the nicest characters to suffer these attacks? Lori deserved better.
Joan says sorry to Lorelei but sorry can’t fix it the damage has already been done.
As if Lori would be questioned by the minister in front of Craven....
Very Very good point.

Why didn't Rita pick up a knife instead of a fork when she threatened Craven🤷
The knives in the dining room would probably be well blunt. A fork could be a good stabbing tool

Does Anne ever feel responsible because of her beyond stupid decisions
Seemingly not.
That fool Reynolds didn’t learn from the first time when she let a known rapist Frank Burke roam around the prison.
She’s always going on about caring for the women but she’s never on their side, especially if Ferguson needs defending
She shouldn't of let the men and women mix from the start. Then Lori would not of been raped

Either her or Kate Peterson
Shout outs to both Kath Maxwell and Sonia Stevens personally. In fact any of the cast were better than the shouty woman Lexi.
I thought Lou Kelly was the best. One of the nicest looking too
