I wonder if Dainsleif can tamper with the ley line energy to induce these memories in the traveler. That he’s using the traveler to do research and help him find the answers. Seems suspicious he was there both times but had left the first so wouldn’t have known what happened just that something did.
@@randomalternate we do get part two of *Nahida's Story Quest* but nothing about a Traveler quest, unfortunately. There's still a chance for a bit of lore relating this whole thing, considering some of the very interesting things in that new 3.6 area, but nothing guaranteed at the moment.
Basically Dain for this quest >Suddenly shows up at a tavern and drop a a big lore bomb >Investigates house >Shows up in flashback >Ends with him talking for 3 minutes >Leaves, never to be seen for another year
About the "bowing down" dillema; our sibling does not bow down, but since they're witnessing the memories of the abyss twin, maybe they DID bow down. Their mindset might have been different enough already to that of the current Traveler.
@@gabsjr No it does because the travelers do act the same way because you're basically "controlling" the character. But the siblings obviously have different thoughts and ways to operate. Otherwise why would the voice even say that? No one but our traveler (and the sibling in the memory) could hear its voice. So the only thing that makes sense would be that our sibling bowed to the voice.
Contains spoilers from the Windblume festival. It might also be a person that we haven't any information on yet. Kinda like Nicole in the Hexenzirkel. We didn't know who that female voice belonged to in the sumeru interlude chapter. And after the Windblume quest, it is highly likely that it was Nicole that spoke to the traveler. Also, the star that represents King Deshret is very similar to the star that people from Khanriah wears. The only difference is that King Deshrets star has two extra points at the top.
@@Iyala-iyala It's possible that the Hexenzirkel are from Teyvat but are either given special priviledges that exempt them from its laws or are outsiders that understand how Teyvat, Celestia and Abyss work. We know that Rhinedottir is from Khaenriah and the abyss is once part of her research. It could even be both.
I thought it was not possible that it is King Deshret because he's only related to Sumeru, but I also thought about Kaenri'ah being in the depths of Sumeru.
Very interesting theory Island :) The elements that you use to strengthen your theory make a lot of sense. To me the voice was a very ancient being (Enka time like the ruins) trapped in a crystal who decided to invade Chlothar and corrupt his mind to create the abyss and get vengeance from the gods (which is why the crystal disappears after). Another detail that got me thinking was the voice saying that we are a flower born in sin yet pure .... Mmmmm what does that mean ??
Do you mean create the abyss as in the abyss itself or the abyss order? Also I believe the born in sin but pure means that they have potential the divine have written off, perfect for elevating to a pure being (a herald or loom of fate).
I have a thoery since 3.0 and the valley of Dahri and sinners. Basically I think Sumeru is Kaenri'ha or the nation was there at some point maybe underground ? Idk Isnt sumeru people calls Kaenri'hans and sinners Darhi ? Idk I may be reaching a bit.
Not sure corrupt is right. The abyss in general believe what they are doing probably because of the king's consciousness. I think he has a genuine desire to set things right due to how bad things went for him in his own land. Still again...corrupt but I feel we know the reasons at least behind the actions.
Hasn't the Light Realm, also known as the Vishap Realm, been established as distinct from the Human Realm? Enkanomiya was the nexus of the three realms, Light, Human, and Void.
Less of a Nexus and more of a gateway region bridging the divide between the Abyss and the Vishap Realm. The Primordial One supposedly made the human realm (Teyvat) and filled it with his favourite species (humans) as a glue to allow all three realms to interact without violent reactions.
@@Rexhunterj So, a nexus is "a connection or series of connections linking two or more things." The three Towers in Enkanomiya were created to stabilize the area, considering that it existed on the border of all three realms. Now, whether or not this actually implies that Enkanomiya does not exist in any of these three realms, even if it did exist in the Human Realm, it is still a Nexus with several Gateways.
After lumine reaches the end of her journey through teyvat, I want a story where we play as aether and go through the story of how he became the abyss prince. This will be so emotional god🥺🥲
Somehow I wonder if in the future, the loom of fate can be used to change the fate of the travelers, like kinda an option to change genders, like in a parallel universe, or if either the sibling succeeds on the loom of fate operation, or the sibling dies (or something similar to that) in the end and the traveler decides to change their fate to rescue the sibling and their fate and timelines would be switched with each other, and now the traveler is the sibling and the sibling is the traveler, or maybe that's what happened to the sibling themself, because the sibling NEVER forgot about the traveler, despite what it may seem at face value (Dain's comment on the sibling dreaming about the traveler on Caribert, the sibling talking and teaching about their relationship with the traveler to the aranara on Aranyaka, Lumine watching/spying on Aether on several promotional materials). But that's just my copium crack theory.
tbh, i felt some kind of horror feeling when i encountered the sinner scene. i was playing alone late at night. i suddenly became aware of my surrounding. lol
My issue with the voice not being King Irmin is because the description in his Statuette (dropped by Black Serpent Knights) fits the Crystal perfectly.
Okay, yep, Deshret makes total sense to me. The matching purple crystals and six chains representing the cardinal sins, alongside this taking place in Sumeru, leads me to believe your theory. He’s certainly the strongest candidate in my eyes. Nice one!!
With Deshret, Irmin and the Second Who Came being big candidates for the crystal, I wonder if it's possible that the crystal is all of them? The theme of collective mind is something that's been shown a few times during Sumeru's quests (the sage's dream samsara, Deshret's golden slumber, Siraj's project) Is it possible that Irmin is not pure-blooded? The Silver Twig description mentions that the sage (who's probably Irmin since the story is just Odin's but adapted to Genshin) followed the kingdom after getting the knowledge of runes and sacred words. So maybe he's not pure-blood because he joined Khaenri'ah later, though that doesn't explain why or how he became the King. I feel that the voice in the crystal could be the same 'comforting whisper' that talks in the Deadly Statuette, and perhaps it's even the same being speaking on Childe's boss description in the Archive (Foul Legacy's horns are similar to the Statuette, and now we know there's Heralds/Lectors who existed before the Abyss Order so maybe his master is one of those. It's a bit of a stretch but who knows, could justify why Childe is not part of the Abyss Order even though he was trained by someone who literally lives in the Abyss)
Yes, I also think this quest was a prologue for a massive event about to take place. 1. Scaramouche now joined our side (I think), so he'll surely get more involved in the main story since he has even tampered with Irminsul 2. Alot of people were saying that Celestia would be right above Fontaine by the time we reach there. 3. This quest generally felt like a prologue 4. Dain said he wants time to think, he didn't say we would part ways yet (I think) 5. There's this serpent in Sumeru which a lot of people theorize to be similar to Orobashi and we might a huge lore dump since Serpents and Snakes are associated with Gods and Celestia (according to some theories I've heard) Do you guys know anything else that would happen very soon in the main quest? open to leaks but don't look if you don't like ;)
Nice theory, the drawn connection between the purple crystal in the cinematic and the purple crystal in the Archon Quest was amazing. But I think (and as mentioned) it's not King Deshret for sure. With Khaenri'ah being near Sumeru, the fate of the Seeli, "the Abyss" as entity, forbidden knowledge and Archon residue existing, its hard for me to imagine a way to make it all coherent. But what, if this purple crystal is more of a representation and manifestation of "the Abyss", like maranas Avatar? The same with the color purple. I my opinion the whole story around the Abyss and Celestia centers around the concept of Yin and Yang. With "the heavenly principles" being established, "the Abyss" was created as well (more of an unwanted byproduct). The same way a shadow is casted when light shines (if there is something like a "light realm", than there needs to be an opposite, right?). And with "gods", "godlike powers" and something "pure" being being called in existence, "Archon residue" had to be the byproduct. And with the blessings of the seven and the guidance of Celestia being Khaenriens denied, there is only thing left for them - something that can't be controlled, something that just "exists". That would be the purple crystal to me. The manifestation of "the Abyss". And King Deshret, fallen from grace, had only one "fate" left for him es well: to become part "the Abyss".
I theorized that the voice of the crystal is actually the human that fell in love with a seelie and was punished by celestia- thus also the seelies loosing their divine forms as well. Why should the human not be punished as well? His sin was loving something close to that of a god. That's just my theory.
I have summary about this archons quest lore bomb. First we already know that our abyys siblings is indeed Princess/prince from khaenriah ( not just simple high rank noble from abyys ). And if you look up more to the gnostic chorus it's actually really I mean REALLY resemblance of Our journey/ abyys journey.. how so? First.. our abyys siblings got summoned there because Khaenriah pray/ asking for help.. but litte they know our twin actually got forced to get there by Celestia ( banished her/him to khaenriah ). And we got something about the 'Purple Thing' or 'Sinner'. What if the 7 were summoned to the khaenriah and even Celestia itself going there.. actually Confronting the 'sinner' not just destroying khaenriah but the whole khaenriah at that time is already got consumed by Its power ( abyys ). And remember Raiden ei said about khaenriah.. he said 'That Thing' ← she afraid of it, what if 'That Thing' is actually the 'sinner'! I mean.. why Tevyat need 7 archons and Celestia itself to take care it if not something Greater something evil Is actually happening in khaenriah which they can't handle ( khaenriah people. The sinner could be the second who came which Goddess of flower said.. the second brought illusion and delusion. I dont know about the other I read many books many.. many lore about this game and I'm pretty sure those Purple 'sinner' could be the 'abyss' it's self.. remember Archon war is not just a war for the heavenly thrones.. There are 'Third party' who also join this competition but only to brought Sickness and Delusion.. ← source From Liyue books I forget what's it's name but it's tell about the story from it. King deshret could be rasional also because we never see where he died? Where his body?. And if you think the 'Scorpions' new mobs is absorbing king deshret body's.. u were wrong.. it's from others being known as APEP. King deshret snake friends. And also the demiurge Of tevyat from your previous theory also 'fake god'
But traveller, the one we play as, also has memories oh khaenriah meaning that they also went to khaenriah with the sibling too. He said that Lumine woke him up on a star and they both landed in khaenriah if I remember correctly.
Also the theory sounds cool and all, but I think traveler's chapter usually has little connection with regional archon quests, and focused more on the back story of Khaenri'ah and our sibling's doing. So I would say this quest is a setup for next year's Dain's quest where he will tell us the story of how King Irmin (the "Sinner" imo) founded Khaenri'ah and then discuss how and why he and other Khaenri'ans were labelled as sinners, which lines up with the theme of Fontain.
I don't have a theory as to the sinner's identity, but I have a detail that can draw some more connections. When Caribert first released, it came with splash text on the event screen. The splash text read: "The world is filled with those who would oppose fate, while the one who understands fate smiles faintly down upon them. If the one who weaves fate may be born here, then let the one who witnesses fate see it all." While it's kinda obscure, it sort of implies the Sinner is the one who understands fate. It's divided into four clauses corresponding to major characters in the quest: "those who would oppose fate" (Eide); "one who understands fate" (the Sinner); "one who weaves fate" (Caribert, as loom of fate?); and "one who witnesses fate" (the Traveler and/or their Sibling). What's really interesting though is that the part that says "one who understands fate" in CN is the *exact* same text as "self-proclaimed prophet" in Dainsleif's intro (could be more accurately translated as "one who proclaims to understand fate"). The Sinner was the one to narrate Dainsleif's cryptic intro poem, it seems.
I definetly think its king Irmin. If you look at the deathly statuette it says " you can almost hear a strange, comforting whisper... ". This is important, because Clothar claimed he feels good, if not better than before after the voice spoke to us. I think that the deathly-, dark- and gloomy statuette dropped by the black serpent knights resemble king Irmin because as the dark- and gloomy statuettes description suggests, it was like an icon for the black serpents and helped them to carry on this long. The black serpents were direct subordinates of king Irmin and, also whos better suited as an icon than a king?! As for the argument that king Irmin is pure blooded Khaenri'ahn and by that would classify as " greater sinner" and would have a physical form ( or rather not the form of a crystal). Well, actually i think that he isnt. If you look at the legend of the shattered Halberd volume 6, you will learn about the divine Halberds, especially the FIRST divine Halberd "Irmin". Hence the divine Halberd and the king of Khaenri'ah share the same name, i think that king Irmin is the divine Halberd, or at least a copy of it. Irmin is also a piece of the name Irminsul, the tree that connects the realms (celestia, earth, abyss). This again fits the legend of the shattered Halberd, as the first Halberd also pierced through, and connected 9 realms. This all could explain why or how king Irmin is not pure Khaenri'ahn, and also dains line from the end of the story quest, that he has a suspicion of who this voice is and how hundreds of years, speaking through memory, etc. are not a problem for "him".
ehh i dunno man, it has been stated multiple time that Dehsret has been dead for a long time even before the cataclysm. If it was him, what's stopping him from reviving Nabu Malikata since he loved her so much?
Trueee good point. I think King Deshret has a CONNECTION with Sinner. But I don't think he's Sinner himself. But he definitely seems to have a relation w Sinner.
What a great video! Keep it up! I’m so glad someone talks about deshret’s sussiness. I think King Irmin might not be human or “pure blooded khaenriahan” at all, it seems like the alberich clan saw themselves as nobility and royalty, but in hidden strife event kaeya’s dad tells him to never forget the alberichs aren’t really royalty. I don’t think people were aware of king irmin at all,. I wrote a whole theory about how deshret could be irmin a while back- and there’s actually more evidence than u might think- on Reddit so it’s so so nice to see someone finally talk about it😂 thanks for the video Island! ❤
My interesting theory about the odd location of the "Purple Emerald" and the connection to the previous quests about "Loom of Fate": If you remember correctly the hilichurl led us into a cave which teleported us into a rather familiar place according to the Traveler, after the end of the quest we can come back to that cave which obviously lead us into the Chasm which is interesting. Until now any Traveler Quest that we had from the "We Will Be Reunited" onward is connected to the "Loom of Fate" operation and the heart of the quests that we had till now led us to an upside-down place/object (The upside-down statue of seven, The upside-down fountain in the city in the Chasm, The upside-down entrance to the "Purple Emerald"), even in the 2.7 Archon Quest in the Chasm we passthrough the same look-alike portals and passthrough upside-down locations to get Xiao. The only place (Until now) that drawn hilichurls to itself is located in the Chasm and the place is occupied by the Abyss Order. This piece of my theory is not connected to the above but it's rather interesting as well: I believe our twin never set foot in Inazuma (By the looks of the events we had till now), because: 1- We never had a Traveler Quest in Inazuma but rather outside of that region and the people who were there is Inazuma during cataclysm and some times after it (Makoto, EI, Shogun and Yae) knows nothing or never heard about our twin. 2- During our first encounter with Raiden Shogun she said "Capable of using elemental energy without a Vision...You are an exception, it appears" which indicates that our twin never had an interaction with Raiden Shogun nor she ever heard about our twin. 3- In Watatsumi Island/Enkanomiya, a member of Abyss Order (Enjou) have been sent to research through the books in Enkanomiya about the truth before Celestia, which again indicates that Abyss Order and our twin never had a chance to go to inazuma to gather intelligence about the matter until the moment the Traveler went there. Correct me if I'm wrong about my theories.
While i do not challenge the idea that the abyss sibling didn't travel to Inazuma, i have a slight problem with point 2 - that is we have no idea whether the sibling is capable of using 7 elements of teyvat. We have only seen them with the og power and the abyss power. Even in the Caribert we only saw the sibling having the original element (white).
@@revjackal8782 Idk either but I came across rather an interesting thing about the light? element that Traveler and our twin used before they've got seal away, way back when I was doing Enkanomiya quest... This is the description of the Namecard Achievement: Colors of the Rainbow which says: "Light can refract into countless colors, but people stop at seven because they're lazy to count. Perhaps the elements are like that, too."
Those who nowed down weren't spoken to, because they don't hear him, because they worship and he says not to. Only the twin called him "a sinner", and when she told the Aristocrat this he denied it amd was offended, clearly showing he couldn't hear the voice.
When we see trought abbys sibling eye, and touch the statue of the 7, there is no option there(usually when we touch it, there will be option like offer dendroculus, resonate, blessing, leave) but when we play as the abbys sibling, there in non of that option apear, only leave, so PAIMON did conect the ELEMENT of TEYVAT to TRAVELER after all
Thank you Island for another great theory! Speaking of the great sinners I think this might be interesting (describtion of Chunk of Aerosiderite -Weapon Ascension Material ): When Khaenri'ah was destroyed, a great sinner created endless monsters with dark, alien blood flowing through their veins. They rampaged across the land, destroying all in their paths. They were mutated lifeforms, and the mutations were caused by powers from beyond this world. The black serpentine dragon Durin that attacked Mondstadt was one such mutated being.
noticed this a few days ago and it honestly shocked me that Gold or Rhinedottir is fully labelled as a 'Sinner', same as our mysterious crystal voice. Could be copium who knows.
to me, that's Pierro's voice. island you can check it on the Fatui story teaser interlude. winter night lazzo. archon quest caribert's misterious voice (the sinner) is very similar to Pierro's voice.
Welp, could "The Sinner" be Phanos, the primordial one. If we say that he lost to the second descender, you could say that he got sealed. Well, and you can say that his a Purple crystal because its a seal cast upon him. But, this is just my opinion.
Just adding: Why would The Primordial One be a "Sinner", well he could consider himself a sinner because he failed to protect his creations (humans), and for that reason he doesn't consider being a "god" but in fact a sinner.
Honestly, the moment I heard that voice I thought it was pierro from the harbingers bc it sounds like him and it would make sense for dain to know him bc pierro is from khaenriah, also I'm sure pierro was supposed to be a royal mage from khaenriah, so him saying he is not god would also make sense.
It’s probably Irmin. Since he’s a reference to odin who sees all and only has one eye. Irminsul is a reference to Yggdrasil, and Irmin might have done something similar to Odin, giving up an eye for knowledge. Only in his case he gained forbidden knowledge somehow as well. The fact that he doesn’t call himself a greater sinner is irrelevant, since he would have likely been the FIRST person to be cursed. The people who were considered sinners (those not under the archons) may have existed before Irmin himself, but they wouldn’t have been CALLED sinners by anyone else until the Khaenriah disaster. Based on Clothar’s dialogue, the game hints that the Khaenrians didn’t consider themselves sinners until the cataclysm. The same is very likely true of whoever is inside that purple crystal. It really seems like the sinner in the purple crystal is receiving the punishment willingly, so they probably did something they also view as horrible. And we don’t have that many options for who it could be that has a reason to feel bad about something they did. The ONLY person who fits the description thus far is Irmin. Neither the primordial one or the second who came have a reason to consider themselves sinners. And in 3.6, Apep basically confirms that the primordial one is still around, and that celestia is somehow an extension of his will, or the heavenly principles. Might mean the sustainer is one of the shades. So it’s near impossible for it to be the primordial one. The second who came is still an option but it wouldn’t really have a reason to call itself a sinner, as it just showed up, lost a fight against the primordial one, and then is basically absent from history. I feel like the second who came will probably be a big antagonist later on who is acting currently in ways that impact the world. so I doubt they’re sealed inside the crystal.
Kind of a wild thought here but seeing how there are strong reasons in support of both Deshret and Irmin being the voice, I feel like we might uncover some missing link between them sometime soon in the story. Idk what it is, but now knowing that Khaenriah is underneath Sumeru makes me think of how the desert 'paradise' that Deshret built was also buried beneath the ground, there must be some kind of connection here...
I don't think that it would turn out to be king Deshret simly becasue he's a figure relevant to Sumeru only, and if Dain will come back with the confirmation of who the voice is during, say, the Fontaine or Natlan quest with him, it would be kinda weird to be circling back to Deshret in particular. Idk, I think the voice should either be connected to Khaenri'ah or with no connection to any of the 7 regions
but there has to be a point (or more) of connection between khaenriah and the 7 regions, that's why we can find many forms of khaenriah's remains in teyvat (hilichurls, architectures/ruins, machineries etc). and maybe that connection is sumeru and deshret is the important figure in this connection.
This was a great video! I honestly never considered that it could be Deshret, but that point about the crystal in the cutscene and the 6 sins was really compelling!
I don't think the voice thinks of itself as a sinner. The word is in quotes. Someone else has called it a sinner. Maybe it's current state is a punishment (from Celestia?) because of a perceived sin. I'm also not sure it was speaking to Traveler the entire time. I think it was addressing the hilichurls and possibly Clothar. I think it only recognized the Traveler at the very end during that flash. Still not sure about that. Also think it's likely to be Deshret. I'm so glad to see someone thinking along the same lines.
By saying "I'm no god" I think he meant "I am not divine", because "divinity" is ofter equated to the Archons and Celestia, which this voice is clearly NOT related to. So I think this voice surely belongs to a deity, but not a "divine", Celestia-type of deity. My guess? Its probably the very personification of the Abyss, a "God of Darkness" if you will. Khaenriah, like King Deshret before it, eventually reached "him" when looking for ways to break free from the Heavenly Principles. I believe the Abyss itself is a world outside of Teyvat, this God is to the Abyss what the Primordial One is to Teyvat. And the Abyss' power is the only thing Celestia fears, hence the destruction of Khaenriah and the Celestial Nails.
I actually believe it is the second descended considering the events of 3.5 our your siblings memories and not your own. The second defender also is the only one to obtain primordial power. My Second candidate would be one of shades who betrayed the primordial one possibily with the power of darkness
Thank you so much for doing this btw. Its getting a lot harder to keep up with most of the lore. And you are capable to put it all well explained into one video !
Amazing theory as alway, Island. To me, Theses present quest, I think that is good idea if you're take a break and analysis everything for a while after finisch the quest becuses if just talk right after you done all of that thing, not everyone that'll get your messenge from your analysis, they just only confuses at that time. I glad that you do this and i so proud of you, why? this time you not forget that thing, "THIS IS JUST A THEORY"
Purple seems to associate with archon residue. This thing is PURPLE EVERYWHERE. If HoYoVerse decides to reveal king deshert’s demon name we can have a better look of the situation… 3.5 event spoiler The 3.5 windblume event, sucrose collected collei’s breath of joy and it’s PURPLE. I’m not sure what it actually is because I haven’t read the manga, I have little knowledge about collei and archon residue.
Collei was injected with it during the experimentation yes, it kept elezar at bay too which is interesting considering the elements of the gods of this world and forbidden knwolage (which brought elezar) are repeated once again, repelling each other
@@InactiveTwig It only clicked for me just now how archon residue (really just god residue like tataragami, this was back when all gods were translated as archons) prevented progression of eleazar aka effects of forbidden knowledge
It wasn't the breath that made me connect the dots tbh. If you look at the manga and how the powers look... it reminded me a bit too much of Collei and Delusion Diluc's. I did speculate the possibility that their powers might actually be abyss related before 3.5, as they *did* already look a lot like instances of Abyss Powers we'd have already seen at the point. But the problem always was that... why would the powers be related *god* residue? But this quest might have just answers that question... Now I'm just waiting for more Collei/Diluc/Crepus lore, to see if my theory is correct.
Since we know now that the Primordial one won against the second who came, the question now is where did they go? Did they die afterwards? How many of them were there? They went to war with a god and its four shades so either its really strong or there's more then one. So it could be that someone survived the battle and quite possibly merged with the abyss and became that crystal or that crystal actually contains something within, its also possible that they were thrown into the abyss after the war. If they are the second who came then that means that they're probably using the anger of the Khaenriahns to their advantage and raising a new army to fight against the Primordial one but this time they intend to win. On that note maybe after we defeat the Tsarista, the Abyss Order will appear and take all the gnoses for themselves so they can get to Celestia.
The voice of sinner reminds me of the Archon war maybe someone who didn't participate in the war which makes him Sinner but wanted power so he learnt forbidden knowledge cause he was playing a game of chess. Which is that when the archon war ends Khaenria'ah was not under any god's control so he took the advantage of this. And then made himself say that he is a sinner because he knew that people won't worship him if he is a god.
This leaves questions of was that his/the crystals final resting place, or had it been found/tracked down by someone and moved to where it was chained up? Was the cryo herald (pre abyss herald) protecting its original or final resting place? Was the divine knowledge the heralds races knowledge to begin with (a bargain between Deshret and them had occurred or it was stolen)? Had they come in search of the divine knowledge Deshret had acquired?
I'm all the way in believing that is King Deshret now as I already was before but it has to be SOMETHING we don't know yet that connects Khaenriah, the Abyss and King Deshret and could help explain more of this because its soooo weird that King Deshret symbol is almost the same symbol as Khaenriahs and by extension of course a symbol used by abyss creatures. But why? If the connection started with Alberich, why Khaenriah already used this symbol before and why king Deshret already used it too? This one has to mean something really important. Ugh. This is really frying my brains.
What I truly believe that the Paradise Lost artifact is actually the storyline of Milton's Paradise Lost books. If you read the book which is the set of poems, you'll see how the lore actually coincides with the poems
I love genshin Lore, the question though that leaves us all unabswered is "is the voice possibly a memory of king deshrets voice through the dark crystal?" or Could it possibly be king Ermin Himself, theirs alot of speculation to this as we dig deeper i'm wondering if dainsleif knows more than he's telling us. maybe he doesn't want to make it known? for rather he wants us to find out on our own? At this point it's hard to tell. but i always love this guys theories Because possibly Hia theories Could be spot on, it's just fun talking about and thinking about genshin lore it's Quite entertaining. also one more thing? who was the goddess of flowers might i ask, i do remember her being mentioned in the Story Quest and Archon quests. i'm just Curious Of how She knew king deshret and taught him this forbidden knowledge. been awhile since i did the quest, i need a recap.
King deshret's crystal form in the animatic is pure, but the crystal in sumeru is covered in black chunks and chained up. Is he corrupted? Maybe he has black scales like the people with Elazar and maybe that's why he is corrupted. The gods are not affected by Elazar, so if Deshret is not a god, he would show up here with black marks and formations on his crystal body.
my theory is also the same that this so called sinner is indeed deshret as when the sinner was talking in the head, clothar didn't hear the crystal saying itself to be a sinner else clothar wouldn't have gotten mad at traveller when traveller said that the crystal is a sinner secondly deshret and the people of desert had some grudges against the omnipresent god rukkhadevata when deshret realised his mistakes, for atoning he died in order to stop the withering of the irminsul mind it deshret is said to have brought the knowledge which is not of this world one of the knowledge is the one which dottore said and that is about the skies of teyvat being fake remember how the people of khaenriah were against god and were the pride of humankind and selfsufficient the skies of khaenriah is said to be red signifying the end of the world and khaenriah was destroyed by the heveanly principles orders and the archons during the archon war that signifies another thing that is khaenriah was reaching a level where they would have been able to defeat and topple the thrones of celestia and that is the reason as to why khaenriah was destroyed, which signifies another thing deshret is related to khaenriah and abyss and the knowledge which is not of this world means knowledge not of this world is essetial for toppling the thrones of celestia that means our abyssal twin's hypothesis about teyvat is kinda correct from this perspective moreover the sentence that you will know the true nature of this world once you have reached the end of your journey and 500 years ago our abyssal twin's data getting in the irminsul and then after some time during the end of the journey vanishing, it all signifies one thing that is our abyssal twin is the forbidden knowledge holder and therefore while clearing the withering of irminsul twin's data got vanished and after khaenriah was destroyed, irminsul's data was altered by the heavenly principles or the celestia this is my theory ofc so lemme know what you think about this hypothesis
If im correct then Gold and albedo found Heart of Naberius deep inside a domain after finding it gold disappeared and asked albedo to find the truth of this world and Naberius is suspected to be a god, can it be related to the sinner?
Id will like to see after Aether reach his journey, we players now join Lumaine backstory waking up in Teyvat learning how she became the abyss princess. From Ar 60 to 70🤔 and participate in Kanreiah
Also the small purple diamond appears in the Removable (by light) walls in the chasm which seems to be the symbol of this entity, same as the structure on Stormterrors' (dvalin's) back. Other theorists have said also that it's likely the truth of the world IS that it's a virtual reality all a construction and "descenders" are literally people from the real world that have logged into the game :) Nahida's NATURE abilities are similar in design to the hypostasis and the CUBES of the sustainer which are all symbolic of the CONSTRUCTED nature of teyvat. Again all conjecture.
my only suspects for the voice are King Irmin, The Second Who Came, or the second descender who would be a counterpart to the Heavenly Principles, though the first two descenders could be the Primordial One and the Second Who Came or related to them.
As a side tangent: we know that the Forbidden Knowledge causes desaster and destruction in Teyvat and it is deemed as knowledge about the Abyss, it does mean that Teyvat is part of the Realm of Light, or once was. Because the power of the Abyss is opposite to the light. And Phanes fought off the Dragons of the Light Realm to create a place for humans to live. In other words, they carved out the world of Teyvat from the Realm of Light.
I think this voice talks about caribert it's weird to not think about it when power clothar recieves is to help caribert and our sibling emphasize that they are willing to help clothar and caribert then there's this abyssal power coming from caribert but our sibling was knocked down doesn't that means our sibling was not aware of power of abyss at that time? 2nd life of our sibling most likely has been simar to what we are experiencing but there are some changes maybe just maybe i think leading our sibling to abyss looks like a big plan and to make sure traveler takes the same route is also there but we know for a fact that Tsaritsa's line's in shivada jade about us and kazari(from sacred sakura) says if it's traveler they might just able to achieve what they couldn't and save more people Lastly i thimk we will side with archon's and wage war against both abyss and celestia and maybe that's why archon's are trying to make sure traveler sides on their favour not celestia or abyss
If the "primordial one" refers to the original god in Gnosticism, it could make sense that he doesn't see himself as a god in the way humans think. This would mean however that the primordial one, and "the first who came" are not the same being, because "the first who came" made humans and thus bound them to the physical plane, and by default, this makes "the first who came" also the "demiurge" who is directly opposed to the original god (the demiurge's grandfather) if the original god is indeed the "primordial one". Also, I think it's less that "the first who came" made rules and principles to combat the abyss, darkness, or otherwise "forbidden" knowledge, because Gnosticism's whole point is that the prevention of knowledge is itself the only true evil (which is why the one who created humans in a physical form is considered the badguy of Gnosticism)-- I think it's more likely that the abyss is a byproduct of "the first who came"s tampering with the world; either because there is an equal and opposite reaction to their attempt to design the world in their image (and thus the abyss was born as a result of the demiurge's attempt to strip the "undesirable" from their desired creation), or the abyss always existed, but was never inherently evil, until provoked and/or using it as a prison to punish beings that were created to crave the light. If we know the sky is fake, then we effectively live in a snowglobe. I don't think the abyss is strictly under Teyvat/it's roots, I think the abyss is actually the primordial chaos that either makes up the space outside of the snowglobe, or the space that exists between realms(or snowglobes)-- acting like the stuff that suspends planets in orbit; suspending dimensions in their respective places. In this case, the abyss may be the true nature of the universe, but the hostile philosophies of it's denizens (that we've so far met) are all warped by the perception of the lives they lived in Teyvat, accused and punished for their crimes by being exiled into chaos. i.e. suffering is greater in imagination than reality. Genshin impact's storytelling is a classic "unreliable narrator"; every bit of story must be taken with a grain of salt.. however, given that it is heavily based on Gnosticism, whichever god ended up creating the physical world, and the humans within, is the badguy. It's also likely that human souls were created by the mother of the demiurge, Sophia. So the demiurge made humans in it's "image", but it did not necessarily make humans to begin with. That's important, because according to Gnosticism, all living things are inherently gods, and any attempt to stifle or conceal the truth of this is inherently unnatural to the universe-- the abyss then wouldn't be a force to combat, and the effects of the abyss would not be inherently harmful. From this perspective, all signs point towards celestia and it's gods fighting a proxy war through the entities of the abyss to inspire fear, and deter further pursuit of knowledge, and the harmful effects associated with the abyss would then actually be curses from celestia.
In Records of Gurabad (one of the interactables in Hadramaveth) part V, the people of Gurabad calls Deshret as "god of war and order". Not sure if that's his original title or just what his people perceives of him though. He had lots of temples dedicated to worshipping him, so he should probably be constitutes as a god?? But still, it's a nice theory. I also originally thought it would be King Irmin, and would've never considered Deshret as one of the candidates (even if he's too emo). If you remember, during Golden Slumber we learned that Deshret once upon a time separated his own consciousness and went on to create this hive-mind thing (like the one that swallows up Samail and Jebrael) in his search for knowledge. It's quite possible that this is part of his consciousness in that hive-mind thingy, or maybe some sort of corruption like how we get two versions of Azhdaha. And yes, the fact that we skipped Inazuma to Sumeru is kinda sus too. I'm thinking Kisra or Shiruyeh might be viable answer but it's a bit too far fetched too without much things to back it up XD Then again it could be an entirely new character just how we're introduced to Nicole in Windblume as the one that (possibly) speaks in our head during Inversion of Genesis XD
I don't know if you noticed but the cutscene itself debunked the "purple Deshret Crystal is chained crystal" Because just a few frames later you can see the crystal turn blue which we have seen before as the crystal being purified I think this "Sinner" is like some kind of Fate Keeper, as in like he'll make sure everything will go as it is Fated to be. Maybe that's why he gave Clothar the powers to recover Cariberts mind because Carriberte is Destined to become the Lome of Fate Dain knowing this Sinner might also be because he is the One who Made Dain the Bough Keeper Another candidate for this i have seen the Outlander who caused the end of the Seelie race He was an Outlander so power from beyond He did cause the end of an entire race so "Sinner" And him knowing the traveler's fate could either be him being like the traveler (who is to defeat Dain and be the weaver of Destiny, and Fate) OR Because he has already experienced the fate of an Outlander and expects that it will end the same Something strange about this voicelines is strange He tells the twin/traveler their fate to become the "Transcendent One" and that they will rise beyond the Fate bestoved to them But never says how it will happen or end The line is "I will shed a tear at the End of Time as I gaze back on your Life" He doesn't say at the end of your Time or Your Life but at the End of TIME
MAYBE Goddess of Flowers discovered her destiny from King Deshret and told Rhukkadevata. Because she "predicted" what would happen in Farakhkert and gave her Simurgh to protect Amrita Pool.
i know its an old quest, but there is something to point out, and that is the wording of the sinner not being a god. specifically its not said i am not a god but "i am no god". in fact, it can be used in a meaning of "i dont think i am a god anymore, but a sinner instead", so it doesnt specifically rule out any gods, nor does it rule out deshret even if he was a god
I’m a little confused on what we consider forbidden knowledge. For example how is Alice able to jump from world to world and even bring back ideas and inventions based on other worlds free of punishment??
Does she go from one world to another frequently though? The best we can say is that she is a descender. Which might explain her knowing about 'foreign' concepts and terms.
I don’t think the voice calling it’s self a sinner rather than a greater sinner is enough too rule out king Irmin there was no reason for the voice to represent itself as greater because to be greater means to be greater than something else he was not comparing himself to anything and being a greater or lesser sinner is not a title it isn’t necessary to make a distinction between the two they are only labeled sinners however I also beleieve it’s king desheret otherwise why would both drain and the traveller simulatiously know who it was without a word between them
maybe the thing when the voice says that he knows their fate (to the ones bowing down) it might be because he knows about khaenriah fall and the fate of the people of khaenriah themselves
I'm not much of a lore junkie so I'm sure I'm missing bits and pieces, but I personally feel pretty strongly that this "Sinner" definitely has connections to wherever McDonald's gets their Sprite from.
In Wei's video, he indicates that the second one that came is actually the Primordial one, and that the primordial one didn't die, but is sealed and other things. I think you'd better take a look, maybe you'll notice more things to tell us. 🥺 🙏
Caribear... Gumibear... Carebear!!! Hilichurl existed thousands of years ago.... so meaning there is/are nations that are similar to Khaenri'ah that was destroyed and the citizen turned into monsters....
King Deshert could work but I don't think it's him per say. The Faith of characters can be read by others including our faith since Mona is trying to and it is a fair guess to assume her Teacher could given how powerful she is supposed to be, especially to rival Alice and be apart of the witches tea party. Another thing is the Cinamatic shows the Crystal turning blue and vanishing so I think Rukatvata was able to clean up his mess. Another thing is that forbidden knowledge was purged from the Irminsul and while events would have already run there course, it's a good assumption to assume no one has any idea that forbidden knowledge exists minus the Traveler and the witches. Since Nahida just knows we healed the Irminsul and is likely under the impression she is the original Dendro Archon with her memories gone. Likely the only things that remain are the stories of the artifacts, likely surviving being degrees enough away from the truth to not be touched by Irminsul. I think the Crystal is something that existed before Cataclysm and has some direct connection to the Abyss, since the power it uses is likely raw abyssal power. When Dain says beyond, I would assume he meant beyond Teyvat which usually means the Light Realm. So anything from the Dark Realm or the Elemental Realm would fit the "beyond" descriptor. Another thing is that given the Eternal Oasis and the cutscene lack of mention of the Goddess of Flowers while I think she did teach him secrets of the world, I don't think he stumbled upon the Forbidden Knowledge until after her death. Given the Goddess of Flowers seems to have died before the events of Deshert. Again my 2 cents
What about the god of time? It would explain the similarity to the fallen statue, knowing of the traveler's fate, being a sinner (what if god of time did something that was against devine principles and ironically says that he is no god (no longer a god), just a sinner?). I feel like this theory might be plausible..?
(Not leak, just theory) Fontaine will be released soon! Judging from hoyo always hints towards how the next region will looks like through events, the recent windblume's balloon event might be how fontaine could be... since it's a region w so many laws.. could it be that there would be many "guards" patroling the region and that we would hv to not get caught by them... hmmm...
It makes sense... But I can't depart from the idea that there is great conscious entities in the Abyss with the (insidious) power to defy the divine. If only to maintain the status quo between the light (sovereigns dragons) and the Abyss before the arrival of the Primordial One... Perhaps are they even the 4 Shades... And, I only just read the Manga and came across the "possession" of Colley. So I think it can be something like this (dark flame serpent who talk in her mind to pull her in the dark side ^^). Or it's just the remains of conciousness of Orobashi injected by the Fatui... But your assumption of King Deskret talk to me.
I hope you enjoy the video!!! Thank you for the support!!!
I HATE DAINSLEIF FOR LEAVING WITH A CLIFFHANGER FOR ANOTHER YEAR.
Thank you for making this video. I have been arguing for ages that the Crystal is Desheret.
I wonder if Dainsleif can tamper with the ley line energy to induce these memories in the traveler. That he’s using the traveler to do research and help him find the answers. Seems suspicious he was there both times but had left the first so wouldn’t have known what happened just that something did.
But wasn’t there a leak that we are to wait for the part to in the 3.6?
@@randomalternate we do get part two of *Nahida's Story Quest* but nothing about a Traveler quest, unfortunately.
There's still a chance for a bit of lore relating this whole thing, considering some of the very interesting things in that new 3.6 area, but nothing guaranteed at the moment.
@@pozzsicle hmm but I saw smth about Dain and “the door to Khaenri’ah” in 3.6… need to check it out though
Basically Dain for this quest
>Suddenly shows up at a tavern and drop a a big lore bomb
>Investigates house
>Shows up in flashback
>Ends with him talking for 3 minutes
>Leaves, never to be seen for another year
Dain: My job here is done
MC: But you didn't do anything...
Dain: *Dramatic turn around and leaves*
Kaeya: Hi traveler.........Bye traveler:)
He led us to the place where we got our sibling's memory though
@@kokkorohime9525 He did more than anyone else in Teyvat has ever done for us, now I feel sad for the MC
We'll see him again in the next patch
About the "bowing down" dillema; our sibling does not bow down, but since they're witnessing the memories of the abyss twin, maybe they DID bow down. Their mindset might have been different enough already to that of the current Traveler.
i thought the same thing! and Dain said (i think ) it was from that point where they made the decision to go against the gods
They did not. The quest shows that they're interchangeable and think in the same wsy
@@gabsjrThe travelers, not the siblings. There is a fine line between the two here.
@@taepoustouflant At that point our sibling wasn't with Dain, and we weren't with Paimon so I believe in that moment didn't matter
As Zhongli once said, stone can contain memory, clearer stone like crystal can even contain conscious.
No it was still most definitely istaroth why would someone from teyvat know that information
It can't be Deshret because his sacrifice was part of what created the seal on the forbidden knowledge.
Sinner being a King Deshret actually makes a lot of sense
But now it's more likely Nibelung
Idk
Isnt sumeru people calls Kaenri'hans and sinners Darhi ?
Idk I may be reaching a bit.
@@Sacration it near sumeru, not in sumeru... valley of Dahri isn't part of their territory. it probably a refugee camp back in the days...
Not sure corrupt is right. The abyss in general believe what they are doing probably because of the king's consciousness. I think he has a genuine desire to set things right due to how bad things went for him in his own land. Still again...corrupt but I feel we know the reasons at least behind the actions.
@@lagrangewei Yeah I guess you are right. Hmmm yes thats totally possible I like this
Hasn't the Light Realm, also known as the Vishap Realm, been established as distinct from the Human Realm?
That's right, my understanding was that the Light Realm is like a realm of pure elemental energy, essentially where all the elements come from.
After lumine reaches the end of her journey through teyvat, I want a story where we play as aether and go through the story of how he became the abyss prince. This will be so emotional god🥺🥲
Cannonically it's the other way around 😅, but I'd love to play as the abyss sibling and see what they went through
@@skanderalex8541 both travelers are canon mhy uses lumine for the abyss twin for the sake of consistency
@@etern1tydark yes yes I meant the hoyo portrayal *wink*
@@Relic58 ooooh!! Thats an interesting theory.
tbh, i felt some kind of horror feeling when i encountered the sinner scene. i was playing alone late at night. i suddenly became aware of my surrounding. lol
me too lol, I had played right after the windblume was being all cute so was very very disturbing
ngl that place was so omnious
My issue with the voice not being King Irmin is because the description in his Statuette (dropped by Black Serpent Knights) fits the Crystal perfectly.
Okay, yep, Deshret makes total sense to me. The matching purple crystals and six chains representing the cardinal sins, alongside this taking place in Sumeru, leads me to believe your theory. He’s certainly the strongest candidate in my eyes. Nice one!!
With Deshret, Irmin and the Second Who Came being big candidates for the crystal, I wonder if it's possible that the crystal is all of them? The theme of collective mind is something that's been shown a few times during Sumeru's quests (the sage's dream samsara, Deshret's golden slumber, Siraj's project)
Is it possible that Irmin is not pure-blooded?
I already watched ashikai's theory so I like to believe that irmin=deshret but for him to be the second who came too🤯 I like this theory
Yes, I also think this quest was a prologue for a massive event about to take place.
1. Scaramouche now joined our side (I think), so he'll surely get more involved in the main story since he has even tampered with Irminsul
2. Alot of people were saying that Celestia would be right above Fontaine by the time we reach there.
3. This quest generally felt like a prologue
4. Dain said he wants time to think, he didn't say we would part ways yet (I think)
5. There's this serpent in Sumeru which a lot of people theorize to be similar to Orobashi and we might a huge lore dump since Serpents and Snakes are associated with Gods and Celestia (according to some theories I've heard)
Do you guys know anything else that would happen very soon in the main quest? open to leaks but don't look if you don't like ;)
which serpent?
Why am I getting N'zoth vibes from that crystal?
"I... Know you..."
And also the demiurge Of tevyat from your previous theory also 'fake god'
isnt the second who came literally celestia though??
same for the demiurge that signifies celestia, why would they help the abyss sibling??
@@InactiveTwig no we already know from Nahida that Celestia is the first who came, primordial one but currently we don't know where he/she went
But traveller, the one we play as, also has memories oh khaenriah meaning that they also went to khaenriah with the sibling too. He said that Lumine woke him up on a star and they both landed in khaenriah if I remember correctly.
"Sinner" is a great topic for Fontain coz it's the nation of Justice. I hope we'll know who the sinner is and what he did next year....
Like first watch later
Edit : this was suprisingly good, 10min of good content, hope u can make another more of this in the future
ehh i dunno man, it has been stated multiple time that Dehsret has been dead for a long time even before the cataclysm. If it was him, what's stopping him from reviving Nabu Malikata since he loved her so much?
True
My interesting theory about the odd location of the "Purple Emerald" and the connection to the previous quests about "Loom of Fate":
If you remember correctly the hilichurl led us into a cave which teleported us into a rather familiar place according to the Traveler, after the end of the quest we can come back to that cave which obviously lead us into the Chasm which is interesting.
This piece of my theory is not connected to the above but it's rather interesting as well: I believe our twin never set foot in Inazuma (By the looks of the events we had till now), because:
1- We never had a Traveler Quest in Inazuma but rather outside of that region and the people who were there is Inazuma during cataclysm and some times after it (Makoto, EI, Shogun and Yae) knows nothing or never heard about our twin.
King deshret out here pulling a Fate grand impact moment being Goetia/solomon KEK
When we see trought abbys sibling eye, and touch the statue of the 7, there is no option there(usually when we touch it, there will be option like offer dendroculus, resonate, blessing, leave) but when we play as the abbys sibling, there in non of that option apear, only leave, so PAIMON did conect the ELEMENT of TEYVAT to TRAVELER after all
Want to point out something, the eye that symbolizes king deshret and the star shaped designs seen on khaenriah are similar
@@hubboyt120 Gold is still alive as per Alice when describing the Hexenzirkel
The crystal that brought back from Rukkhedevata was really a big clue
I think the voice I tanking to present day traveler, Dein says that time isn't a limitation for him
OMG, THE VOICE IS THE SNAKE FROM THE BATTLE PASS
OH MY GOD THE DESHRET PART MADE SO MUCH SENSE
to me, that's Pierro's voice. island you can check it on the Fatui story teaser interlude. winter night lazzo. archon quest caribert's misterious voice (the sinner) is very similar to Pierro's voice.
As far as I know, the only other person directly called a sinner in the game is Rhinedottir/Gold, she’s referred to as “The Great Sinner”
Welp, could "The Sinner" be Phanos, the primordial one. If we say that he lost to the second descender, you could say that he got sealed. Well, and you can say that his a Purple crystal because its a seal cast upon him. But, this is just my opinion.
Just adding:
Why would The Primordial One be a "Sinner", well he could consider himself a sinner because he failed to protect his creations (humans), and for that reason he doesn't consider being a "god" but in fact a sinner.
Again this is just my opinion, i would like to see your opinion too
Honestly, the moment I heard that voice I thought it was pierro from the harbingers bc it sounds like him and it would make sense for dain to know him bc pierro is from khaenriah, also I'm sure pierro was supposed to be a royal mage from khaenriah, so him saying he is not god would also make sense.
They do be hinting at stuff in quest to reveal things later in a future quest so it makes sense.
That's how I see it as well. You could also read the "I am no god" as sarcasm mocking Celestia (or whoever called him a sinner)
Same
Ngl I totally forgot king deshret's eye turned into a crystal.
And the Abyss' power is the only thing Celestia fears, hence the destruction of Khaenriah and the Celestial Nails.
i dont think it was any of your mentions, but it might be some sentience which you will encounter if you dive into abyssal knowledge.
dude was turned into a crystal like the guardians in destiny 2
I actually believe it is the second descended considering the events of 3.5 our your siblings memories and not your own. The second defender also is the only one to obtain primordial power.
My Second candidate would be one of shades who betrayed the primordial one possibily with the power of darkness
9:23 But the voice asked "Why don't you bow down" if I remember correctly, solid proof that it was talking to sibling
If HoYoVerse decides to reveal king deshert’s demon name we can have a better look of the situation…
3.5 event spoiler
The 3.5 windblume event, sucrose collected collei’s breath of joy and it’s PURPLE.
I think the crystal is the so called "Heart of Naberius"
If it is, would the voice then be that of Naberius? Interesting... :)
Oh interresting
Wow! Good take on this!
That crystal in the scene from Deshret's sacrifice really does look the part. It all fits in context with the recent quests too. I'm on board.
And then made himself say that he is a sinner because he knew that people won't worship him if he is a god.
so much dancing but the "mystery" distorted voice sounds like kaeya lmao
yeah for some reason i've always believed that deshret was "evil" he was never a "good person" in my eyes
Brain worms
Damn being verified then also got 3 likes lolll
U and wei are my favorite theory genshin channel
I'm all the way in believing that is King Deshret now as I already was before but it has to be SOMETHING we don't know yet that connects Khaenriah, the Abyss and King Deshret and could help explain more of this because its soooo weird that King Deshret symbol is almost the same symbol as Khaenriahs and by extension of course a symbol used by abyss creatures. But why?
If the connection started with Alberich, why Khaenriah already used this symbol before and why king Deshret already used it too? This one has to mean something really important. Ugh. This is really frying my brains.
I feel like the purple was either to throw us off or a huge hint
What I truly believe that the Paradise Lost artifact is actually the storyline of Milton's Paradise Lost books. If you read the book which is the set of poems, you'll see how the lore actually coincides with the poems
I love genshin Lore, the question though that leaves us all unabswered is "is the voice possibly a memory of king deshrets voice through the dark crystal?"
or Could it possibly be king Ermin Himself, theirs alot of speculation to this as we dig deeper i'm wondering if dainsleif knows more than he's telling us.
maybe he doesn't want to make it known? for rather he wants us to find out on our own?
The gods are not affected by Elazar, so if Deshret is not a god, he would show up here with black marks and formations on his crystal body.
my theory is also the same that this so called sinner is indeed deshret as
when the sinner was talking in the head, clothar didn't hear the crystal saying itself to be a sinner else clothar wouldn't have gotten mad at traveller when traveller said that the crystal is a sinner
secondly deshret and the people of desert had some grudges against the omnipresent god rukkhadevata
when deshret realised his mistakes, for atoning he died in order to stop the withering of the irminsul
mind it deshret is said to have brought the knowledge which is not of this world
one of the knowledge is the one which dottore said and that is about the skies of teyvat being fake
remember how the people of khaenriah were against god and were the pride of humankind and selfsufficient
the skies of khaenriah is said to be red signifying the end of the world
and khaenriah was destroyed by the heveanly principles orders and the archons during the archon war
that signifies another thing
that is khaenriah was reaching a level where they would have been able to defeat and topple the thrones of celestia and that is the reason as to why khaenriah was destroyed, which signifies another thing
deshret is related to khaenriah and abyss and the knowledge which is not of this world
means knowledge not of this world is essetial for toppling the thrones of celestia
that means our abyssal twin's hypothesis about teyvat is kinda correct from this perspective
moreover the sentence that you will know the true nature of this world once you have reached the end of your journey
and 500 years ago our abyssal twin's data getting in the irminsul and then after some time during the end of the journey vanishing, it all signifies one thing
that is our abyssal twin is the forbidden knowledge holder and therefore while clearing the withering of irminsul twin's data got vanished and after khaenriah was destroyed, irminsul's data was altered by the heavenly principles or the celestia
this is my theory ofc so lemme know what you think about this hypothesis
If im correct then Gold and albedo found Heart of Naberius deep inside a domain after finding it gold disappeared and asked albedo to find the truth of this world and Naberius is suspected to be a god, can it be related to the sinner?
Id will like to see after Aether reach his journey, we players now join Lumaine backstory waking up in Teyvat learning how she became the abyss princess. From Ar 60 to 70🤔 and participate in Kanreiah
Wow, I watch this video just 43 seconds after this video uploaded
At the end, I swore you were about to do a "It's just a theory, a GAME THEORY!"
6:24 you made my jaw drop, I never noticed that
so king Deshret would be outlander, meaning descender?
I think this voice talks about caribert it's weird to not think about it when power clothar recieves is to help caribert and our sibling emphasize that they are willing to help clothar and caribert then there's this abyssal power coming from caribert but our sibling was knocked down doesn't that means our sibling was not aware of power of abyss at that time?
2nd life of our sibling most likely has been simar to what we are experiencing but there are some changes maybe just maybe i think leading our sibling to abyss looks like a big plan and to make sure traveler takes the same route is also there but we know for a fact that Tsaritsa's line's in shivada jade about us and kazari(from sacred sakura) says if it's traveler they might just able to achieve what they couldn't and save more people
Lastly i thimk we will side with archon's and wage war against both abyss and celestia and maybe that's why archon's are trying to make sure traveler sides on their favour not celestia or abyss
I'm thinking Kisra or Shiruyeh might be viable answer but it's a bit too far fetched too without much things to back it up XD
Then again it could be an entirely new character just how we're introduced to Nicole in Windblume as the one that (possibly) speaks in our head during Inversion of Genesis XD
I don't know if you noticed but the cutscene itself debunked the "purple Deshret Crystal is chained crystal"
Because just a few frames later you can see the crystal turn blue which we have seen before as the crystal being purified
I think this "Sinner" is like some kind of Fate Keeper, as in like he'll make sure everything will go as it is Fated to be. Maybe that's why he gave Clothar the powers to recover Cariberts mind because Carriberte is Destined to become the Lome of Fate
Dain knowing this Sinner might also be because he is the One who Made Dain the Bough Keeper
Another candidate for this i have seen the Outlander who caused the end of the Seelie race
He was an Outlander so power from beyond
He did cause the end of an entire race so "Sinner"
And him knowing the traveler's fate could either be him being like the traveler (who is to defeat Dain and be the weaver of Destiny, and Fate)
OR
Because he has already experienced the fate of an Outlander and expects that it will end the same
Something strange about this voicelines is strange
He tells the twin/traveler their fate to become the "Transcendent One" and that they will rise beyond the Fate bestoved to them
But never says how it will happen or end
The line is "I will shed a tear at the End of Time as I gaze back on your Life"
He doesn't say at the end of your Time or Your Life but at the End of TIME
MAYBE Goddess of Flowers discovered her destiny from King Deshret and told Rhukkadevata. Because she "predicted" what would happen in Farakhkert and gave her Simurgh to protect Amrita Pool.
God of Sand. That would make Aranakin shudders
i know its an old quest, but there is something to point out, and that is the wording of the sinner not being a god.
specifically its not said i am not a god but "i am no god". in fact, it can be used in a meaning of "i dont think i am a god anymore, but a sinner instead", so it doesnt specifically rule out any gods, nor does it rule out deshret even if he was a god
I thought this was cat with blue hat for some reason and had a heart attack when you started speaking Holy shit
I really support this theory... Your explanation make sense at least for me... Good sh*t mr islandxd 🏝️
Again my 2 cents
you deserve way more views
I feel like the voice itself sounds like Kaeyas voice
What about the god of time? It would explain the similarity to the fallen statue, knowing of the traveler's fate, being a sinner (what if god of time did something that was against devine principles and ironically says that he is no god (no longer a god), just a sinner?). I feel like this theory might be plausible..?
oh my god. the typo 😭😭. "cadrinal sins"
(Not leak, just theory)
Fontaine will be released soon!
