Hello everyone! Thank you all for waiting so patiently!!! I hope you enjoy the video, and here are some additional notes and context for the video: You might be confused with the implications behind the Stars’ Blessing. It actually makes sense to Layla, because her backstory with sleepwalking and her state of mind and consciousness within dreams. Not to mention, her idle and attack animations are essentially Stars that are accompanied by a Moon. As for the topic of Elves, I am speculating that Alice is a purebred Elf like Nahida. I could be wrong. But I am suspecting that any characters with Elven ears with white hair and pale complexions are purebreds. It is also interesting to consider that Alice has deep connections with the Adventurer’s Guild and their Moto is “Ad Astra Abyssosque” which means Journey to the Stars and Abyss, giving another connection to how Layla’s “Stars’ Blessing” might be connected with the Moons, particularly with the Abyss. As for characters like Layla and Klee, I am assuming that they are half Elves. Also, I am aware that Iansan of Natlan does not have pale complexions as I am assuming. She probably just got a tan xd. Of course, I just want to make sure to say… Remember… This is just a Theory…
Just a speculation to your comment about venty statue. It looks like it's lifting something... Maybe one of those portals. Maybe in the end the statue itself will be the gateway...
I just wanted to let you know that the background music is quite loud, especially at 4:38. Do you think it's possible to lower it a little bit? By the way, I really enjoyed your theory!
@IslandXD I just saw your video about the Welkin Moon and I think you missed an import hint about Venti. You said that Welkin Moon is Aria, the Abyssal Moon is Canon and Venti has a connection with Sonnet. I was waiting for you to said it but maybe you missed it. Venti elemental skill is literally called Skyward SONNET.
Venti also has his own cycle of sleep and reawakening. He sleeps for long periods of time and reawakening when Monstadt needs him. this ties back to dreams and stars as well as Alice, as the Golden Apple Archipelago is the severed mountaintops of Monstadt severed by Venti himself. Venti seems to be intrinsically linked to every subsection of this games lore, as well as the concept of Samsaras. This also brings forth the idea that the game starts and ends in Monstadt. Venti is therefore also linked to Nahida in multiple ways, as well as Alice, and is also the only Archon (other than Nahida) that hasn't gotten a Story Quest 2. I'm very excited for 3.5 because of the Dain Quest as well.
Interesting, I do remember Venti's "cell phone" we had in the latest Summer Isles event (tied to Alice), where Nahida was able to contact us as well. There definitely seems to be multiple connections between them. It's strange that Zhongli seems to be detached from all of this moon sisters business. I suspect we will get a Venti story part 2 when they release the Mondstadt expansion (Dornman Port). Hoping it will be before Fontaine, but it's not looking likely. It seems HYV are intending to expand Liyue first.
@Bjorn Nilsson Usually archon SQ2's are huge lore bombs and usually give ud a new weekly boss related to the archon. Nahida's SQ2 should introduce us to Apep and potentially tie in with Aranyaka (not leaks just speculation), which could end up revealing massive parts of the lore we don't know about yet.
@Arthera the thing is that he called himself the weakest despite most likely knowing that nahida was only 500 years old. and remember that, even if he was the weakest, a small fraction of a really big number is still a really big number. Venti is still much stronger than any vision bearer just by factor of his being an archon.
@@badave1001n what language? And what other nation has moon in it? And what ever nation that has moon in it. So like in the video i said the sisters would take turns to watch over. Maybe Aria watch over monstadt then one of the two sisters watched liyue and other the nation. But there separation made, one stays above in the human realm, two goes down to abyss, third goes out of the realm only to be see in certain consciousness, like the teapot or raiden ei meditation realm
To be honest there's SO MANY sus things about Venti. Him showing the people in windblume their memories from the past?? Venti seemingly able to govern souls in Mondstadt and lead them to the afterlife. The line he says about knowing every song from the past, present, and future. His gnosis being the Queen piece. And that's not even scratching at his Istaroth connections. I think it's very telling how Ei and Zhongli got their second story quest first before Venti, because they can't reveal too much about Venti just yet.
I have this love-hate relationship with Venti. He drives the entire sus plotline of Teyvat, but I'm so mad he doesn't give us more context or clues hahahaha
Not to mention that Venti is STILL awake during the whole game. He only wakes up when Monstadt needs him, so the fact that he is out here being very suspicious is ominous.
@@ameame32 He wasn't just any wind spirit. He said he was a "wisp among the thousand winds". And we know that the thousand winds have been used to refer to Istaroth before
Wouldn't be suprised if the Blessing of the Welkin Moon and Abyssal Moon giving us primogems essentially means that primogems are fragments of the moon sister's bodies. The seelies are always guiding us to treasure and within those chests are often primogems.
@@SunScourge Maybe by using primogems to wish, we are sending the fragments back to the heavens beyond the firmament and helping to restore the Moon Sister's powers, and consequently reconstructing the Primordial One
and only doing so if favored by the god / demon mammon. gose by time. fontaine is water becuase the "law of the sea" seeing as how she litterly pulls fake laws out her butt.
Legit since the beginning i've been thinking that the moon should have a bigger role in Genshin story since Hoyo loves the "Moon" so much considering their very first character, Kiana (most likely derived from Diana), means the moon princess/goddess and they've been reusing her in all of their games excluding ToT and ZZZ. I won't be surprised if the moon is connected to the Sustainer tbh.
I felt that way the moment i realized the moon didn't have phases. Idk why i expected it but ig it was wierd seeing crecent moon symbols in-game but the moon never becomes one (at least by the time the Traveler shows up.)
Remember, Paimon is Genshin icon not the travelers, Unknown God, or even any characters. Its different with Honkai where Kiana is the Icon. 😉 Hoyoverse always gives pretty clear clues at the beginning. We will know Paimon is Welkin Moon.
At first I thought the Unknown God was the shade of space, because of how her powers looked. But now I think that she is the shade of death, because she seems to be some kind of executioner. She is the only one who comes to stop/kill us. And she's heavily implied to be the one who destroyed Khaenri'ah. That's all I have XD.
Personally I feel like the sustainer isn't a god of death. Her name is sustainer. Sounds more like she does some sort of containment. Sounds like she's related to life itself existing, not the creation or end. Could be related to the three fates maybe, the fate that measures the thread? She didn't kill us or our sibling, just took our powers potentially and locked us in a cube. Not trying to attack, I just love discussing this sorta stuff! ❤️
Unknown God is a parallel of Herrscher of Void. She was only the sustainer of the Heavenly Principle. Her rival is Ei. Because Ei the closest to Heavenly Principle.
No she has too many connections to the goblet wich is known as the goblet that holds space and void circling back to the shade of space We know the shades are Space, time, death and life because of the artifacts and how they all represent the shades and phanes Since asmoday / unknown God is based on HOV from honkai and she's most likely shade of space / void who is represented by the goblet As far as we know the shade of death / destruction is represented by the feather / plume of death maybe this shade has elements corresponding to seele from honkai since she's known as the herrscher of death or may be heavily based on a grim reaper of sorts (scythe weapon perhaps?) And the flower represents the shade of life / rebirth we don't know anything about this one like the shade of death Perhaps this shade and the shade of death may be polar opposites And since we know phanes was helped by a shade to create the animals and creatures of teyvat it was probably this one And then finally the shade of time istaroth / kairos this is the shade we know most about
@@UltraInstinct509 Remember "The Sustainer". The degree is different from the Archon. That's an unbalanced comparison. If you want to ask Archon who is equivalent to Unknown God. It's Ei. Because something with what Zongli said, she was closest to the Heavenly Principle. Ei also said, "Eternity is the closest to the Heavenly Principle". This also refers to Sirin and Raiden Mei in Honkai Impact which, according to the Hoyoverse developer, the two games are still in the same universe but are not related to each other (like parallels). FYI, Ei did not participate in the Khaenri'ah war.
Btw something I want to add. Mondstadt means "moon city" and Liyue means "glazed moon". Perhaps Venti and Zhongli has something to do with the moon sisters. They also give up their Gnosis very easily. Venti pretending to be easily subdue by Signora was very suspicious since only the top 3 Harbingers has powers that rival Archons. Therefore, it can be deduced that he gave the Gnosis to the Cryo Archon. Zhongli also make a contract with the Tsaritsa and gave the Gnosis away. Also I think Klee's mother, Alice, could potentially have the answer to all. Alice was a close friend of Gold or Rhinedottir, the "Great Sinner" who was responsible for the Cataclysm 500 years ago. She's not affected by Irmunsul and is assumed to be an outlander. Klee's an elf and probably so is Alice. Khaenri'ah is also probably related to the moons. The Eclipse Dynasty, which literally means the moon, was the last dynasty before Khaenri'ah fell. The recent Caribert interlude chapter also reveals the gemstone that is linked to the Abyss and called himself a "Sinner". Perhaps the 3 moon sisters' fallout has something to do with this. That was a great video though with detail analysis though!
I mean, this makes way to much sense for it's own good, if I was a god and some other god is stealing every other god's magical thing and such, I wouldn't give up my magical thing as easily unless I believe that it's going into a good cause, you'll need to actually prove to me that giving you my magical thing to a group that is known to cause chaos every place that they decided to go to, and the fact that you pointed out the names to the cities is also unique because I thought it was a really good idea to write a story based off of the Mondstadt Archon Quest was a good idea, the fall out would make sense because if we're looking at the theory assuming everything is true, then maybe Aria really cared about humans like Guizhong did, heck, maybe they could even be Aria but in a different form! They're so many things that we could add on
On point! As always! I cannot shake off the fact that Nahida, in her character story quest, sees only ONE shooting star, not 2. Also i don't think the moon in the loading screen is one of the 3 sisters. All mons in game are full, while the one in the loading screen is a crescent moon, while the icon of the Welin is a waxing moon. Like the location of the loading screen does not belong to Teyvat therefore is not ruled by its laws, planets included. Side note: there's another entity that is not affected by changes in Irminsul.... Zhongli.
Zhongli is affected by changes in Irmingsul. He just knows that memories can be erased, so he tells the traveller that he is a witness to everything that is happening. Zhongli is also definitely affected by erosion.
@@mi.mapuchi But after Wanderer pushed the reset button the only character history that has not changed is Zhongli's. All the others have. That means that he's somehow disconnected from the tree.
@@mi.mapuchi The problem is...he still remembers that there are only two original archons remaining and he shouldn't if he is susceptible to Irminsul like the rest. His lines about the archons remain the same as before Rukkhadevata's erasure. It is in his voice lines if you want to take a look.
@@RejectedInch It did change though. Before he only said that two archons remained "Only two archons remain of the first seven" . But now he specifically emphasizes that he only means in positions of power "Only two of the first seven remain in positions of rulership" . Which makes sense considering Nahida just barely got her authority back. She's an especial case either way. Cause for the people of Teyvat Nahida is not technically the same dendro archon. For them she loose her memories and shrunk, which to a lot (including the aranara) is a death
@@RejectedInchConsidering how much Mihoyo mess with our heads with their lore, i wouldn't be surprised if the Twin was already dead after Khean'ria (wrong spelling i think) and the one masquerading as the Twin is fake.
I always enjoy these types of videos and thought thats put into it that just makes you really think or wonder. A lot of the theories that actually gotten correct like the albedo or signora one just ages like fine wine, and even the ones that got wrong (like baizhu being the dendro archon) are still an interesting take and is still really entertaining to listen to, and to be fair a lot of the context are still yet to discovered until some of the regions went live, but the fact that you can still piece these parts just from tiny details or info scrambled across the teyvat just makes these even more amazing.
It may sound crazy, but what if... the flower-Paimon(moon goddess, goddess of life), feather-Barbatos (god of death?), clock-Istaroth (moon goddess, goddess of time), cup-Asmoday (moon goddess, goddess of emptiness), crown-Primordial One. It makes sense, as Paimon is precisely connected with Celestia, the statue in Inazuma (defined by Istaroth ) is similar to Welkin moon, feathers are a direct symbol of Venti + his connection with moons/time/Istaroth Seelies came from Celestia, they were messengers of heaven and helped people, but they were not shades. It was a separate developed race. As for Venti, there is also a fact that after the death, Venti directs souls with wind. + Everyone knows the joke that each character with anemo vision has a dead friend? Remembering that obtaining a vision is based on the character or life position (which corresponds to the archon). Does that mean that every owner of anemo vision goes through death? Just like Venti being the God of Death. And Venti also gave blessings many times, but I want to remember one very important thing. It is thanks to the blessing of Anemo Archon that all gliders can fly. The scientist from Sumeru studied this and realised that it did not lend itself to the laws of physics. We have never seen such a "global" blessing from other archons. But this just crazy thoughts…
What's interesting is that you mentioned how Teyvat goes through a samsara of life and death. This is similar to how in Honkai Impact it was confirmed that humanity goes through a 50000 year samsara of civilisation growing (life) and the honkai wiping it out (death).
The thing that first drew me towards you as a Content Creator were your well thought-out lore videos. When I discovered your first lore videos, I was so hooked, had to share them with all my friends, because of how well researched and laid out they were. Then I started watching you more and more, even tuned into your streams and got a little sad that at some point, your theory videos had gotten less and less. I am so glad to finally have a new theory video! Theory Thursdays are fun, but your dedication to the lore and uncovering the truth really shines through the best in this format. I am aware that video editing is a tough job, especially with how much effort you put into yours, but I hope that maybe, possibly? we can see more videos from you again! With the upcoming Dainsleif quest in 3.5, I am sure that we will get another lore bomb dropped on our heads and I hope that it will give you enough fuel to make another video! Love you lots, Island! Great video, great theory and see you in the next livestream (that I can catch, bc european timezones are suffering)!
Thank you so much for supporting all my content! I have been wanting to do more of these narrated videos, but I've been trying to learn as much as I can as being a content creator! hopefully everything will become even better! Thank you so much for watching regardless of timezone differences!
Bro, you did a MAGNIFIC job. The wait was worth, a well explained theory about EVERYTHING, and in the end VENTI IS SUS! Have a good rest, a break and a burger! You deserve it! (PS: I've edited the word TERRIFIC and replaced with MAGNIFIC because i was trying to say with TERRIFIC on how AMAZING was your video, not anything bad.)
Honestly fucking brilliant. Like these are all a bunch of sub topics, observations, and rabbit holee I've gone down within the last few years. But dude. You did so much better at connecting and tying all these things together than I ever could. Worth the wait.
Another Venti connection that was not mentioned in the video; it was the civilization of seelies whose destruction started the fight between the moon sisters, and venti was a seelie before becoming an archon.
Venti is a wind spirit, that's what he told us (what the game told us), but his wind spirit form is kinda looked like Abyss Mage (and that form of Abyss Mages happened because of Khaenriah Curse) and his wind spirit form is kinda looks like a Seelie too (floating, smol, wear cape). But whether he is a seelie, it's still only speculation and theory. I hate that he nonchalantly said that he is just a wind spirit like it's something that we see everyday, lol. What do you mean a wind spirit?!
I always thought Venti was a separate being from the Seelies, but the similarities definitely could exist for some odd reason. Things are so sus... Venti is so sus...
Not going to lie, recently I remembered Scara's story quest and I couldn't help but think back to the revealation that all knowledge "burned" out of Irminsul is lost UNLESS it was in fairy tale format. And although that made me think back to Lisa's quest... it also made me think about the Moon Sisters story. The way it is written implies some romanticism in them. So I wondered... is it possible they are allegory for something... then I recalled how that quest ended, and honestly I now have an idea that's a bit too far out there: Specially because of how two sisters "left" and one remained. These stories are implied to be out there for a long time, and if we assume, as you say, they are referencing three of the four Shades, then if we consider how one seems interested in holding back humanity (assuming Sustainer is one)... then would that mean that two of the Shades sided with Humanity? Istaroth seems to have helped in Enkanomiya and has traces of existance in Mondstatd. Or alternatively, one sided with Humanity? Because if this is the case, then Istaroth may be the only Celestial ally we have if we meet her... but if it's two... well, we have one oddly suspecious flying guide with us who seemingly made a comment without realising it at the end of the Lanter Rite when Venti made his appearance. EDIT: Also, I believe that Mondstad will be where we may end Teyvat's journey after Snezhnaya. It seems to be hinted that there's a part of the territory we can't access yet and I suspect they will open it for us once we ride a Snezhnayan ship there.
well if the last moon in the abyss is death, it being the sustainer (who nuked khenriah) wouldnt be a stretch. perhaps she's watching over the region of teyvat closest to the abyss to prevent abyssal cross abyssal over, and the blessing is her way of helping us combat the abyss
It means the key to remembering and over riding the laws of Teyvat rely on using the powers of the non celestial sisters. Which means once we get the power of the stars back that we had at the beginning we basically have the ability to ignore the laws of the world.
@@farhanatashiga3721 Not really, a structure of allegories is still a structure, we just have to find a similar one. For example the three Moon Sisters can be described as: 'three things that followed something until one caused a disbalance due to an alien to it interference which resulted in disaster' Then we just need to find a similar structure for things we know are of some truth. One example I can think of are the Three Realms. Elemental, Void and Mortal Realm which can be described as 'three things following something until an alien caused a disbalance and thus disaster'.
@@Ali-cya sounds good but what's stopping people from keep drawing allegories from that just because it's possible doesn't mean we can keep drawing them as such and thus it's better to draw the line Early.
@@farhanatashiga3721 Because there are many books who already speak in allegories, drawing the line simply means potentially deceiving ourselves with a story that is not real. Also for there to be more drawings of allegories there must be more similar structures that have some truth to them, the line is drawn there where we have some concrete truths.
Hot take that just occurred to me. The theme of repeating and cycles. The sustainer of heavenly wouldn't let the twins leave because THEY ARE PART OF THE CYCLE. Thats why the abyss twin talks about the truth of the world, either they've accepted thier role in the cycle or fighting against it to break it.
If we're going the moon sister is also istaroth route, i think it's worth mentioning another thing. You know how so many characters in genshin are look-alikes of honkai characters and having similar roles in the world? Like unknown god and kiana governing what seems to be space, ei and makoto and mei governing lightning, venti and wendy governing wind, etc. I think sustainer of heavenly principles might just be a look-alike of the sirin part in kiana(herrscher of the void, god of space), not kiana herself. The welkin moon lady looks a lot like kiana herself, especially in her herrscher of finality form. Herrscher of finality is the god of time and reincarnation(while also having the other herrschers' powers but that's not really an important plotpoint). The herrscher of finality is also hugely related to the moon in honkai. The previous herrscher of finality's corpse is on the moon, kiana also trapped herself and all the honkai on the moon. Honkai also has a theme of samsara, this samsara was broken by kiana.
let's also not forget how there's a temple of time at Mondstadt. the funny thing is that in 1 of the DC you'll have shield hilichurls who are worshipping the sundial before we disturb them to fight, and considering we know who these hilichurls originally well... I just find it strange since it was said that Khaenriah doesn't worship any gods
It is good to keep these pieces on the table. Going over them again as we get more. Eventually, we will piece this puzzle together and see the bigger picture.
I wrote a looong theory text but some things are always to clear and some translations are misleading. But making it short : - Traveler was on Teyvat long before cataclysm and (probably) built the first civilisation - He "married" with the Seelie ancestor (the jemel) and one (jalous?) moon sister punished them when she take her quarter after 30 days. This can have lead to archon's war, Seelie weakening, etc. and this is the reason why they help us today. - He was struck with amnesia and she turned to/leaded/built khaenri'ah for revenge (failed) - She then turned to Abyss until present day. How do we have ended on a beach peacefully fishing?.. I don't know. But what we fished (Paimon) is something belonging to Teyvat, powerfull, never seen elsewhere and probably related to heavens (cloth design). Theory links her to Istaroth (or primordial one), but I think she is One of the moons. Her cloack and above all, her eyes, are too close from this concept. (in France, there is a legend about an old man who fished the moon) Finaly, the last Dainsleif quest make me think our emergency food might even only want to be loved... Was she feeling alone in the sky ? Are we the Sun ? In the Matrixx ?
I'm so happy that you take time with this one because this theory video got me thinking a lot... If the price for an amazing theory video is waiting a long time then I don't mind waiting long..
Paimon has to be related to celestia as there are too many hints pointing towards that theory. She has very similar features to the moon sister Aria and the primordial one. And as for Venti the writings under the statue in Monstadt point to the theory that the game may end in Monstadt. When we talk about Nahida's line of her refering to herself as the moon, it could probably just be her lowering herself as the moon which is smaller and weaker than the Sun only relying on the light from the Sun, it could also mean something else too, but either way, I feel that she would play only a small role in the theory if it some parts of it came true.
i think nahida referring to herself as the moon simply means she is only significant because of the light reflected by the sun. in other words, shes only important because shes the descendant of grater lord rukkhadevata.
By the way -- if Istaroth is Aria/Welkin moon; then who are the other moon sisters? I'm thinking since It's written in lore that Venti & Istaroth once ruled 2gether -- w Ventis string connection w Sonnet, could he possibly be a reincarnation of Sonnet made by Istaroth? Perhaps she planted seeds of hope, being venti & maybe another w their spirits after they died? If they were sisters in name, perhaps they cared 4 eachother, and these "seeds" were Istaroths hope 4 them to live better lives than previously? Venti was possibly the only seed that ended up blossoming or working and she took it upon herself to kinda raise him in a sense (hence them ruling 2gether) Idk theory
Whenever I see Paimon and the three moon sisters, all I see is Kevin and the main Honkai trio from the latest story arc. All it took was them giving Kevin the same black diamond hair ornament as Paimon.
2:54 an Aria also refers to a type of song where only one voice can be heard, which may be what the title of Dream Aria meant instead of referring to one of the moon sisters
for me, the third moon is the Traveler or at the least connected to them, this is because only the traveler can re-visit boss domains except for Andrius and in the description, it says revisit the memories of the fight on top of this I also like the theory is the party we have the character is not there but a memory recreated by the Traveler and yes it can be disproven by the friendship score and more but why do they start at level 1 when we first get them, despite them already working and should have experience since they were already living in teyvat before the traveler came in which is why only the trail characters are really there during hangouts and story quests where they already have their own equipment, their own level as well as talents and them being recreated memories the traveler only knows what they see and heard which is why they need the exp books to learn more of their fighting style and abilities while the constellations are them piecing together missing fragments that they may have forgotten also the other thing I can link is the idle animation of the traveler when they summon constellations from their palms which I think doesn't match the skies of teyvat and only the traveler and mona are the ones who summons stars for something mona checks jean, lisa and ambers destiny but why does the traveler do that
Oooh, so basically, you're *always* playing as Traveller, just that you're replicating the moves and stuff of the people you meet. Interesting. That could also explain why when talking to NPCs, you switch to Aether or smth.
Great theory as always! The thing I find odd abt all of this is that the moon in the skies of Teyvat is always a full moon while the moon in the login screen can be seen in crescent, so I don't really think they are the same, and there's also the thing abt the fake sky....
My spin on this theory: The moons are scattered across the 3 realms mentioned in the enkanomiya quest. This explains why there's only one moon in our realm. The welkin moon is the celestial moon (since welkin is associated with the heavens). I think this could correspond with susty. The abyssal moon is moon in the abyss. No clue who that could be. This leaves a moon in the mortal realm. I think the moon we see in teyvat is actually the celestial moon. The 3 realms overlap so it wouldn't be far fetched that we see the celestial moon. The third moon sister might have fled the sky for some reason. I think the human realm moon is potentially paimon. I know it's a weird crack theory maybe but idk... It makes sense for me that the THREE moon sisters could be related to THREE moons and THREE realms. I think the four shades will instead be related to something that comes in 4 instead. What that could be? No clue. Just my opinion and spin on things.
This ties into the Three Realms mentioned in Enkanomiya!! The Void Realm (Abyss), the Light Realm (elements / Ley Lines / Irminsul) and the Human Realm (Teyvat's sky)! All good things come in threes... and all the threes are connected!
I think at this print is pretty obvious that paimon is the primordial one (Paimon the king of demons, Archos having demon names). But I think she might've been betrayed and sealed in Teyvat by the giant sky nails. I only suspect that cause of the chasm, and how the usually calm and very careful Paimon just rushes us into releasing the nail that fell there. Feels odd cause it's the only time we see Paimon rushing us to go without thinking, and usually she does the opposite, maybe she's intentionally guiding us to the nails in order to free herself, wither she completely remembers that or is like some sort of instinct or gut feeling of hers.
Statue of the Omnipresent God... Omnipresent... As said in Before Sun and Moon, Istaroth is THE moment, she is EVERY moment. Thus, she is EVER present.
there’s so many hidden details in the travelers profile and the opening cutscene of the game. other than in-game retellings and lore dumps, it really doesn’t get as close to the raw truth as it does with those two aspects of the game. the travelers “character details” info tab under “story” in “profile” has so much theory potential. instead of a brief character overview like most characters, this is what it contains: “the keeper is fading away; the creator has not yet come. but the world shall burn no more for you shall ascend”. who is the keeper? who is the creator? i have an idea of what the world burning means. in the travelers “character story one” it talks about what was happening during the confrontation with the sustainer. the story recounts “falling stars”, “a raging cataclysm”, and “the world in turmoil”. now, we were never given an exact time stretch from when they descended to teyvat to the confrontation. but, when it showed the twins descending, nothing like what the story describes was present in the backgrounds. it looks like they crossed liyue and mondstadt, swerving around barbatos’ statue, which might explain ventis strange voiceline about knowing them. i’m going to come back to this tmr and edit it bc i have school tmr and it’s midnight. cya!
respect for you, judging from all your content it seems that for genshin you are more interested in the lore, but if the story aspect you seem more interested in honkai (maybe). good dynamics. good video btw. and one more thing your explanation is very easy to understand (good editing too), thank you.
imagine if khanriah was underneath mondstadt-, i mean there was the defiled statue somewhere underneath liyue (or smthg i dont remember), and the entrance to the spiral abyss is located in mondstadt as well.
02:39 boy do I remember us stressing out discussing this on stream still lol "Are they the same? No, it can't be unless-" and on and on for like 45 minutes lmao
Such an interesting theory! Thank you Island for this well-put video. After the Sumeru archon quest, all fairy-tales-ish books esp. from Mondstadt becomes even more suspicious :/
Yes, and why Lisa's job as the librarian of mondstat is so important. When referring to Lisa's title/job, the games dialogue like to say its important and respectable but nothing else. Perhaps it is an intended understatement. It also helps Lisa is incredibly gifted and smart, and powerful. The perfect person to be in charge of something so important. I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa knows the importance of those fairytales (think back to one of the first quests of the game, where you have to save a book from the abyss)....hmmmm....
So in an Ashikai theory from awhile ago (Time in Teyvat Explained), I left this comment: "So going off of some ideas you threw around in here, if Teyvat is a domain, and what you said in a previous video about Hoyoverse making every gameplay mechanic have some sort of canon to the world, then in that case, the door we enter into every time we log into the game is, in fact, a domain door. Furthermore, we can tie this into co-op, as going to visit another player is seen as "going to another world", and if domains can exist connected like bubbles, and time doesn't matter, then the existence of co-op might be proof of Teyvat as a domain, and explain our individual Travelers being forced to follow the "rules" of each player's world. By "rules", I mean the inability to visit places you might have gone to, but another player hasn't because they haven't played enough, or being able to visit places you haven't been to yet if you go to someone's world who's farther in the game than you. Thus, time does not matter. Back onto the login door though, this brings up the question. Does this mean that the door, and all the stuff surrounding it like the pillars and the path leading to the door, exist outside Teyvat entirely?" Now, during The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings, there's a point when the Traveler goes out and realizes there's a bunch of different spaces that turn out to be the dreams of the people of Sumeru. What if those dreams are also, themselves, domains? If we take this idea and blow the scale of it up massively, we can take this as "Teyvat is the creation of a dream." If we have a bunch of different instances of similar dreams going on, via all the many players of Genshin Impact slowly playing through their accounts, would that not be the same or similar to the idea of the cyclical nature of history in the world of Teyvat? To expand on this more, all the playable characters are just dream versions summoned from other dream domains, and this can even connect it into the trial system for testing out the characters on banners. Now, as for Venti, I propose that Venti is unique, in that all versions of Venti across all the different domains, actually share the same mind and memories. This would explain how Venti remembers us, but the Traveler doesn't remember him. I'm also certain this idea can explain how we, the Travelers, are descenders, but not our sibling. By having Irminsul act as a giant Akasha terminal, its harvesting this one big dream across the entirety of each version of Teyvat. Our dream, as the Traveler. Why is our sibling in the Irminsul but not us? Well, we are in the Irminsul, but like the Akasha system, its just decided we have no right to access that information, so it just acts like we aren't in it at all. I'm sure there's holes here I missed or things I'm not thinking about, but I really think there's something here to build on. Hell, there might be something here that connects this whole thing back to Honkai, such as all these dreams actually being simulated realities or something, which can be speculated by the large number of computer-like things we can derive from all we've seen, like Irminsul being a giant hard drive/server, or Nahida's combat animations.
That's so interesting. Thank you for the read. It gives me few more context and ideas! Thank you for watching and supporting the lore and theory community!
Can you make a theory on Zhongli? On his story 5 if we focus on "As time passed, many of the sevens titles changed hands only two of the first seven remain" before completing sumeru archon quest. BUT AFTER COMPLETING SUMERU ARCHON QUEST "As time passed, many of the sevens titles changed hands only two of the first seven remains in position of rulership" Its basically the same but its still fwo of the first seven remains and adds "in position of rulership". Probably hoyoverse hinting but if i have to make a theory he is most likely a descender. How? Because Irminsul did not affect him AFTER sumeru archon quest just like the traveler. When we can name our wanderer, we cant name it Lumine and Aether and he cant react to that name because theres that red pop up. If we name it Morax/Zhongli it is also not available So thats my theory but i dont know if i made any mistakes to it, IslandXD if your reading you can add more things to it thats fine
The Finale Enlightenment of Oneself is that We can awaken as Primordial One as well. We can create worlds and bring 4 Nature to our World. We all are divines
In some Sethian Gnostic groups, there are belief of twofold/threefold Sophia(s), but the three one are consisting of this: -Sophia which dwells in The Aeons of Pleroma (Fullness) which resides before the fall of her own after trying to fulfil her passion to create without involving her half male Syzygy nor the approval of The Monad, this is Sophia's original state before her fall causes her to births "mistake" (In Valentinian's Gospel of Truth, it's called as "Error"), forms (body and soul) and passions (desires) -Sophia as later byproduct of the Demiurgic figure (Yaldabaoth which has three other names: Samael/Saklas/Ariel), which dwells in the telestial realms of 6 Archons under Yaldabaoth (Samsara in Buddhism happens to be consisted of 6 Realms of beings too, with each realm has a celestial Buddha, usually Amitabha or Bhaisajyaguru and Mahasattva akin to Avalokiteshvara/Guanyin/Kannon attempting to helping each realm separately, oddly enough Japanese Kannon are often equated or disguised as Mary Mother of Jesus by Japanese Amakusa Christians too), this often being called as "Astaphaios" which if I'm stretching into personal speculation, corresponds to 7 Classical Planets and Ancient Astrology of Planet Venus, since "Planets" were once considered to be either "earths" or "heavens" depending on the old Cosmology of it, even Dante's Inferno still utilised 7 Classical Planets models to describe the entire Empyrean dwelling in Dante's Paradiso -Sophia which born and split from the second telestial/Psychic/Archontic Sophia and become Zoe, which Zoe reincarnated/rebirthed into Eve (wife of Adam) and later into Norea, which once got almost sexually assaulted by The Archons but prevented by one of Luminaries which generated Sophia in The Pleroma, an Angel called Eleleth which said his presence alone can blind the entire world and scares off The Archons as in the "Hypostasis of The Archons" text, this split Zoe in different Sethian text also have a separate and earlier split as daughter of Sophia and being the consort/husband of a repented child of Yaldabaoth called Sabaoth, which this Sabaoth after repented starts to ascends above his Archons siblings and with Zoe, guides humanity under both of his "right hand" and "left hand", each respectively represents "righteousness" and "unrighteousness" which each also generates it's own Angels and Demons to either help or misguide humans by their own freewill, as in both Sethian and Valentinians, humans in the "Psychikon"/Psychic category have granted greater amount of Free Will to join The Pleroma, stuck while guarded with Sabaoth until Judgement Day, or be condemned with Yaldabaoth with his own materially Aeonic copies and Archons in the Tartaros, below The Abyss
There's also the leitmotiv used in the intro day and night themes of Mondstadt, the same as Sink Into Oblivion (Enkanomiya theme, place based on day/night gameplay) These intro are in 3/4 time signature while the rest of these ost are in 4/4
The scenes from 3:30 till 3:41, are they from the first part of the GAA? I fon't remember Diluc and Kaeya being there. Can someone tell me if the scenes were really from the first GAA event?
#1. Notice how these two (Welkin Moon and Abyssal Moon) give us Primogems? I suspect that Primogem it's what is left of these two sisters, Aria and Canon. So I believe that Sonnet is still alive and might be the Unknown God. #2. HoyoVerse is a Chinese developer, from what I see they are usually inspired from Chinese mythology. Let's focus on the Moon, in Chinese mythology the Moon is associated with Chang'e (嫦娥) the goddess of Moon. She has a husband named Hou Yi (后羿) who typically given the title "Lord Archer". So what is Venti's weapon? Bow! So I'd say Venti or maybe the original Anemo Archon before Venti is associated with the three sisters.
Thank you for watching!!! And yes! for the full picture, watching both back to back makes more sense! Thank you for the support!!! Hopefully more to come soon!
With this video (and I love it, great job seriously) I have a idea. What if the moons are an allegory similar to the human realm, the dragon realm and the abyss realm? Three realms in war and 3 moons too. The dragon realm is overthrown by that of humans as the corpse moon sister on the sky. A lot of information that should be deleted usually comes from allegories that were only found in the Enkanomiya book I not have a good english so, sorry if I can't be understandable
Also, quite random, but if you go to the trailer titled “We will be reunited” while Lumine is sprinting, there’s a moon behind her. At first I thought that was the third moon, but Khanriah existed, it wasn’t some kind of a dream. Then Khanriah was probably underground and has conections to the Abyss and the second moon blah, blah, blah… I just wanted to add it since you didn’t mention it. This is probably useless like always but oh well.
for the Plume of death, i hear people say in other such theory videos, that the shade of Death may be the Damselette (Columbina) of the Fatui since it's also hinted or confirmed that she may be also a Seelie
Here is a note to the moon sisters :The sisters had war because there was a certain time where they traveled across the sky or something and it d they forget then something rlly bad would happen one sister forget to travel because she was destructet by her lover so she forget to travel to that Stetson place so the consequence was that the sistierst turned crazy and had war against each other
When you said 3 moons in my mind I had 3 things: the moon in the sky, Nahida who presented herself as the moon, and Lumine having her constellation being the moon (if you are asking, Aether has a star as constellation). Don't know how important it is, it's just what came in my mind
i agree with everything except venti's dialogue about having meet them before, i don't think that was targeted toward the traveller, but paimon. i think he has met paimon in the pass before she lost her memory
Great theory! But what are your thoughts about the forth shade? We know about the white-haired moon ladies but the last shade should represent the sun by that logic. And it should look completely different (the way Aether differs from Lumine I guess…)
One of the most accepted theories about Unknown God is that she is weakened after the Travelers' battle (and possibly the cataclysm that happened 500 years ago). This causes her to "shrink" into Paimon size. Some theorize that she lost her memory and innocently follows the Traveler around
I actually found something cool in game using the crystals, so when you fight a boss you get a crystal of that element, and if you check the description of the crystals you can find dialogue, for example if you open the 5* cryo crystal the words are, “Sorry…to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world.” “Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn?” “Then, burn away the old world for me.”, the peculiar thing about this is that if you check the crystals that already have their own archons, I actually sounds like something they would say (I checked and it is something that they have already said) so if we take in to consideration what this means then in the 5* pyro crystal who is the redacted? Is it possible to predict the other archon quests? And the most important question I think is, if it is really true that the archons are directly speaking to us then what does the 5* cyro crystal mean by “the old world”?, I can tell that world means Teyvat but why do we have to burn it? And why is it old? I do know that this theory leaves more questions than answers but it seems like something to look into.
there is a place in mondstadt where the music from the starting screen plays like every other place has its own different music but suspiciously it is the only place where that music plays🤔🤔(correct me if I'm wrong)
Despite Venti's ties to the moon, the symbols on his archon's clothes resemble the sun. moreover, on his wings there is a golden ring that resembles the sun
"Aria" as it was used in the title of the song is more kind of a musical piece rather than a name. But I like the connection you've made between the word Aria in the game intro song, and one of the sisters. It's still possibly right though.
Looking forward to when the game refocuses on Mondstat again i.e. Venti Story Quest part 2 with the Mondstat weekly boss and potentially more sub-regions to be explored.
I randomly realised that paimon eyes look like moons in the sky the pupil is what look like a moon take any shot of her and you ll see idk if its accurate or not but yea
Island you forgot to mention that all three moon positions are Down,Middle,Above(celestial/beyond physical world) maybe just maybe i think that Paimon was close to all three of them If we look at aranara quest Paimon was Portrayed as Silver floaty and there was a chariot that used to drag all the moon's around(looks like i forgot some lines) and the other thing is If you look at the Mondstad Church in map it has similar shape as Login Gate
Hello everyone! Thank you all for waiting so patiently!!!
I hope you enjoy the video, and here are some additional notes and context for the video:
You might be confused with the implications behind the Stars’ Blessing.
Of course, I just want to make sure to say…
Remember… This is just a Theory…
Just a speculation to your comment about venty statue. It looks like it's lifting something... Maybe one of those portals. Maybe in the end the statue itself will be the gateway...
I just wanted to let you know that the background music is quite loud, especially at 4:38. Do you think it's possible to lower it a little bit? By the way, I really enjoyed your theory!
@@brokiemydog sounds fine to me
@IslandXD I just saw your video about the Welkin Moon and I think you missed an import hint about Venti. You said that Welkin Moon is Aria, the Abyssal Moon is Canon and Venti has a connection with Sonnet. I was waiting for you to said it but maybe you missed it. Venti elemental skill is literally called Skyward SONNET.
Yea, I noticed after uploading it. I shall be more mindful going forward! Thank you!
I really wanted to write even more but the gods of mobile doth not allow easy writing.
Venti acts waay to oblivious for how many connections he has. he says himself he is the weakest archon but i highly doubt that
@Arthera the thing is that he called himself the weakest despite most likely knowing that nahida was only 500 years old. and remember that, even if he was the weakest, a small fraction of a really big number is still a really big number. Venti is still much stronger than any vision bearer just by factor of his being an archon.
To add a spice to this theory, Venti's skill is called "SKYWARD SONNET"
TYTYTY
Wth
Wtf
Yes
now I'm not one to shit on a party, but that's just a skill name
Also Mondstadt literally means 'moon city'. We can see the moon over green fields in Venti's eyes...
0.o
Liyue means Jade moon 😮
@@badave1001n what language? And what other nation has moon in it? And what ever nation that has moon in it. So like in the video i said the sisters would take turns to watch over. Maybe Aria watch over monstadt then one of the two sisters watched liyue and other the nation. But there separation made, one stays above in the human realm, two goes down to abyss, third goes out of the realm only to be see in certain consciousness, like the teapot or raiden ei meditation realm
@@Velvetune it actually means glazed moon in Chinese, and so far only mond and liyue have moon in it
@@ASTEIR ok
Venti is a the real deal i tell ya
Not to mention that Venti is STILL awake during the whole game. He only wakes up when Monstadt needs him, so the fact that he is out here being very suspicious is ominous.
Remember that Venti was just a spirit until a bard he knew died and he took on his body which we see now
@@ameame32 He wasn't just any wind spirit.
THATS VERY INTERESTING... HMMM
Wait so we use them to pull characters so dark now I think about it……
Fragments of the moon sisters = shades of Phanes = fragments of the Primordial One... PRIMOgems... Oh dear.
I think things will uncover relatively soon regarding the moon. Things about to get more SUS
Don’t forget the first game, Flyme2themoon
It's totes important
Yea the final piece of the entire puzzle seems to allude me a lot. But I cannot wait to figure out what's really going on the longer we play the game!
No she has too many connections to the goblet wich is known as the goblet that holds space and void circling back to the shade of space
We know the shades are
Space, time, death and life because of the artifacts and how they all represent the shades and phanes
Since asmoday / unknown God is based on HOV from honkai and she's most likely shade of space / void who is represented by the goblet
As far as we know the shade of death / destruction is represented by the feather / plume of death maybe this shade has elements corresponding to seele from honkai since she's known as the herrscher of death or may be heavily based on a grim reaper of sorts (scythe weapon perhaps?)
And the flower represents the shade of life / rebirth we don't know anything about this one like the shade of death
Perhaps this shade and the shade of death may be polar opposites
And since we know phanes was helped by a shade to create the animals and creatures of teyvat it was probably this one
And then finally the shade of time istaroth / kairos this is the shade we know most about
@@UltraInstinct509 Remember "The Sustainer".
3 moon sisters story could be an allegory. It could represents the 3 realms. Light realm, Abyss realm and Human Realm

And don't forget that Venti's VA is the one who sang the Opening song of Genshin Impact
Y'know, the one that goes "uuuuuu uuuuu uuu uuuu uuuu uuuuuuu~"
Miao Jiang sung for the opening?
Venti's chinese VA?
UWU UWU UWUUUUUUU WOOO WUW WOUUU WUUU
I always enjoy these types of videos and thought thats put into it that just makes you really think or wonder. A lot of the theories that actually gotten correct like the albedo or signora one just ages like fine wine, and even the ones that got wrong (like baizhu being the dendro archon) are still an interesting take and is still really entertaining to listen to, and to be fair a lot of the context are still yet to discovered until some of the regions went live, but the fact that you can still piece these parts just from tiny details or info scrambled across the teyvat just makes these even more amazing.
Thank you so much for watching my content and being patient with my uploads! KUDOS!
It makes sense, as Paimon is precisely connected with Celestia, the statue in Inazuma (defined by Istaroth ) is similar to Welkin moon, feathers are a direct symbol of Venti + his connection with moons/time/Istaroth
Seelies came from Celestia, they were messengers of heaven and helped people, but they were not shades.
There are no crazy thoughts. Only possibilities that keeps us entertained. :D
but no one died at Jean and Sayu
What's interesting is that you mentioned how Teyvat goes through a samsara of life and death. This is similar to how in Honkai Impact it was confirmed that humanity goes through a 50000 year samsara of civilisation growing (life) and the honkai wiping it out (death).
You understand. Cheers.

Thank you for waiting so patiently! Hopefully more to come!
One more thing I noticed is that, Venti's skill is also called 'Skyward Sonnet'
I have a feeling that three 'Moon Sisters' are just an allegory for something else or someone else.
We have to draw the line somewhere, if we just keep assuming things are allegories to other things it would be pointlessly endless.
@@farhanatashiga3721 Not really, a structure of allegories is still a structure, we just have to find a similar one. For example the three Moon Sisters can be described as: 'three things that followed something until one caused a disbalance due to an alien to it interference which resulted in disaster'
Then we just need to find a similar structure for things we know are of some truth.
I haven't topped up for a long time, but after watching this awesome theory I now have an active Welkin.
Im calling it now, Cannon was Tartaglia/Childe's mentor when he fell into the abyss.
absolutely fits the death imagry, location, etc. the anti-elf.
The theory videos keeps getting better and more interesting, was the story of Genshin continues on, A job well done IslandXD
TYTYTY
let's also not forget how there's a temple of time at Mondstadt.
the funny thing is that in 1 of the DC you'll have shield hilichurls who are worshipping the sundial before we disturb them to fight, and considering we know who these hilichurls originally well... I just find it strange since it was said that Khaenriah doesn't worship any gods
It is good to keep these pieces on the table. Going over them again as we get more. Eventually, we will piece this puzzle together and see the bigger picture.
SOON...
I wrote a looong theory text but some things are always to clear and some translations are misleading. But making it short :
- Traveler was on Teyvat long before cataclysm and (probably) built the first civilisation
- He "married" with the Seelie ancestor (the jemel) and one (jalous?) moon sister punished them when she take her quarter after 30 days. This can have lead to archon's war, Seelie weakening, etc. and this is the reason why they help us today.
- He was struck with amnesia and she turned to/leaded/built khaenri'ah for revenge (failed)
- She then turned to Abyss until present day.
(in France, there is a legend about an old man who fished the moon)
Finaly, the last Dainsleif quest make me think our emergency food might even only want to be loved...
@@staarfall5317 yea something like that
So glad ur back with ur Theory Videos they are so fun to listen to!!!
Thank you for waiting for so long!! Much love!
Venti was possibly the only seed that ended up blossoming or working and she took it upon herself to kinda raise him in a sense (hence them ruling 2gether)
Idk theory
Whenever I see Paimon and the three moon sisters, all I see is Kevin and the main Honkai trio from the latest story arc. All it took was them giving Kevin the same black diamond hair ornament as Paimon.
Can you imagine that's what exactly happened in the invasion of the second who came???
2:54 an Aria also refers to a type of song where only one voice can be heard, which may be what the title of Dream Aria meant instead of referring to one of the moon sisters
i love how even when you purchase something in genshin, say, the welkin, it has it's own lore too lol
never would've thought that welkin moon has lore this deep 💀
for me, the third moon is the Traveler or at the least connected to them, this is because only the traveler can re-visit boss domains except for Andrius and in the description, it says revisit the memories of the fight on top of this I also like the theory is the party we have the character is not there but a memory recreated by the Traveler and yes it can be disproven by the friendship score and more
but why do they start at level 1 when we first get them, despite them already working and should have experience since they were already living in teyvat before the traveler came in which is why only the trail characters are really there during hangouts and story quests where they already have their own equipment, their own level as well as talents
and them being recreated memories the traveler only knows what they see and heard which is why they need the exp books to learn more of their fighting style and abilities while the constellations are them piecing together missing fragments that they may have forgotten
also the other thing I can link is the idle animation of the traveler when they summon constellations from their palms which I think doesn't match the skies of teyvat and only the traveler and mona are the ones who summons stars for something mona checks jean, lisa and ambers destiny but why does the traveler do that
Oooh, so basically, you're *always* playing as Traveller, just that you're replicating the moves and stuff of the people you meet.
Interesting. That could also explain why when talking to NPCs, you switch to Aether or smth.
This video single-handedly made me want to finish the sumeru story. This was an amazing theory too, def worth the wait.
Thank you for supporting me! Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Great theory as always!
The thing I find odd abt all of this is that the moon in the skies of Teyvat is always a full moon while the moon in the login screen can be seen in crescent, so I don't really think they are the same, and there's also the thing abt the fake sky....
All the moons are so sus. EVERYTHING IS FAKE!!! XD
My spin on this theory:
The moons are scattered across the 3 realms mentioned in the enkanomiya quest.
All good things come in threes... and all the threes are connected!
fun fact; the sustainer's canon actual name is asmoday
This is an absolutely amazing theory thank you for putting in so much effort
Thank you for the support!!!
tbh at first i thought this would just be bait but it just kept getting interesting, well done
Another thing is when nahida was talking abt rukkatavatah she discribed her as the sun and herself as the moon
there’s so many hidden details in the travelers profile and the opening cutscene of the game. other than in-game retellings and lore dumps, it really doesn’t get as close to the raw truth as it does with those two aspects of the game. the travelers “character details” info tab under “story” in “profile” has so much theory potential. instead of a brief character overview like most characters, this is what it contains: “the keeper is fading away; the creator has not yet come. but the world shall burn no more for you shall ascend”. who is the keeper? who is the creator? i have an idea of what the world burning means. in the travelers “character story one” it talks about what was happening during the confrontation with the sustainer. the story recounts “falling stars”, “a raging cataclysm”, and “the world in turmoil”. now, we were never given an exact time stretch from when they descended to teyvat to the confrontation. but, when it showed the twins descending, nothing like what the story describes was present in the backgrounds. it looks like they crossed liyue and mondstadt, swerving around barbatos’ statue, which might explain ventis strange voiceline about knowing them.
i’m going to come back to this tmr and edit it bc i have school tmr and it’s midnight. cya!
respect for you, judging from all your content it seems that for genshin you are more interested in the lore, but if the story aspect you seem more interested in honkai (maybe). good dynamics. good video btw. and one more thing your explanation is very easy to understand (good editing too), thank you.
Thank you for watching my content!!!
Considering how the moon's treated in Honkai.. Moon lore gives me anxiety :')
I'm scared. D:
Like Nahida said, go take a shit and flush the dookie anxiety away
@@shanedoesyoutube8001 lmao well said
imagine if khanriah was underneath mondstadt-,
i mean there was the defiled statue somewhere underneath liyue (or smthg i dont remember), and the entrance to the spiral abyss is located in mondstadt as well.
02:39 boy do I remember us stressing out discussing this on stream still lol
"Are they the same? No, it can't be unless-" and on and on for like 45 minutes lmao
LOLLLLL
Such an interesting theory! Thank you Island for this well-put video. After the Sumeru archon quest, all fairy-tales-ish books esp. from Mondstadt becomes even more suspicious :/
I cannot wait to continue with the story. Things are getting very interesting...!
Does this mean that the door, and all the stuff surrounding it like the pillars and the path leading to the door, exist outside Teyvat entirely?"
Now, during The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings, there's a point when the Traveler goes out and realizes there's a bunch of different spaces that turn out to be the dreams of the people of Sumeru.
BUT AFTER COMPLETING SUMERU ARCHON QUEST "As time passed, many of the sevens titles changed hands only two of the first seven remains in position of rulership"
Its basically the same but its still fwo of the first seven remains and adds "in position of rulership".
If we name it Morax/Zhongli it is also not available
So thats my theory but i dont know if i made any mistakes to it, IslandXD if your reading you can add more things to it thats fine
The Finale Enlightenment of Oneself is that We can awaken as Primordial One as well.
We can create worlds and bring 4 Nature to our World.
We all are divines

Very good, i've never watch any theory videos with explanation this good before, good job!
I just bought welkin moon and now i saw this 💀
ITS A SIGN...!

In some Sethian Gnostic groups, there are belief of twofold/threefold Sophia(s), but the three one are consisting of this:
-Sophia which dwells in The Aeons of Pleroma (Fullness) which resides before the fall of her own after trying to fulfil her passion to create without involving her half male Syzygy nor the approval of The Monad, this is Sophia's original state before her fall causes her to births "mistake" (In Valentinian's Gospel of Truth, it's called as "Error"), forms (body and soul) and passions (desires)
-Sophia as later byproduct of the Demiurgic figure (Yaldabaoth which has three other names: Samael/Saklas/Ariel), which dwells in the telestial realms of 6 Archons under Yaldabaoth (Samsara in Buddhism happens to be consisted of 6 Realms of beings too, with each realm has a celestial Buddha, usually Amitabha or Bhaisajyaguru and Mahasattva akin to Avalokiteshvara/Guanyin/Kannon attempting to helping each realm separately, oddly enough Japanese Kannon are often equated or disguised as Mary Mother of Jesus by Japanese Amakusa Christians too), this often being called as "Astaphaios" which if I'm stretching into personal speculation, corresponds to 7 Classical Planets and Ancient Astrology of Planet Venus, since "Planets" were once considered to be either "earths" or "heavens" depending on the old Cosmology of it, even Dante's Inferno still utilised 7 Classical Planets models to describe the entire Empyrean dwelling in Dante's Paradiso
-Sophia which born and split from the second telestial/Psychic/Archontic Sophia and become Zoe, which Zoe reincarnated/rebirthed into Eve (wife of Adam) and later into Norea, which once got almost sexually assaulted by The Archons but prevented by one of Luminaries which generated Sophia in The Pleroma, an Angel called Eleleth which said his presence alone can blind the entire world and scares off The Archons as in the "Hypostasis of The Archons" text, this split Zoe in different Sethian text also have a separate and earlier split as daughter of Sophia and being the consort/husband of a repented child of Yaldabaoth called Sabaoth, which this Sabaoth after repented starts to ascends above his Archons siblings and with Zoe, guides humanity under both of his "right hand" and "left hand", each respectively represents "righteousness" and "unrighteousness" which each also generates it's own Angels and Demons to either help or misguide humans by their own freewill, as in both Sethian and Valentinians, humans in the "Psychikon"/Psychic category have granted greater amount of Free Will to join The Pleroma, stuck while guarded with Sabaoth until Judgement Day, or be condemned with Yaldabaoth with his own materially Aeonic copies and Archons in the Tartaros, below The Abyss
There's also the leitmotiv used in the intro day and night themes of Mondstadt, the same as Sink Into Oblivion (Enkanomiya theme, place based on day/night gameplay)
These intro are in 3/4 time signature while the rest of these ost are in 4/4
Terrific video Island, the wait was worth it.
Thank you for waiting! Thank you for the support!
The scenes from 3:30 till 3:41, are they from the first part of the GAA? I fon't remember Diluc and Kaeya being there. Can someone tell me if the scenes were really from the first GAA event?
Great theories!!!!
Hope we'll get more answers in fontaine
i really need area such as enkanomiya again (one that gives us lore abt the world)
I CANNOT WAIT FOR FONTAINE... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MORE LORE!
Great theory video. I like that you tied in the previous theory video. I rewatched the other to get the full picture.
Thank you for watching!!! And yes! for the full picture, watching both back to back makes more sense! Thank you for the support!!! Hopefully more to come soon!
Very intrigiung, i always forget how deep genshin lore goes.
Great Video!
Love the editing style btw
Bro, I love your theories! Im jazzed to go on a walk and think more on all these ideas. Well done!
Thank you!!!
6:23 you have not listened to the full song, there are two voices. The second one appears later in the song.
With this video (and I love it, great job seriously) I have a idea. What if the moons are an allegory similar to the human realm, the dragon realm and the abyss realm? Three realms in war and 3 moons too. The dragon realm is overthrown by that of humans as the corpse moon sister on the sky. A lot of information that should be deleted usually comes from allegories that were only found in the Enkanomiya book
I not have a good english so, sorry if I can't be understandable
Also, quite random, but if you go to the trailer titled “We will be reunited” while Lumine is sprinting, there’s a moon behind her. At first I thought that was the third moon, but Khanriah existed, it wasn’t some kind of a dream. Then Khanriah was probably underground and has conections to the Abyss and the second moon blah, blah, blah… I just wanted to add it since you didn’t mention it. This is probably useless like always but oh well.
Good point
Also the symbol Triquetra on the Welkin Moon and Paimon, it's another HUGE hint considering what it symbolizes.
Mihoyo making game without time loop plot. Mission Impossible
for the Plume of death, i hear people say in other such theory videos, that the shade of Death may be the Damselette (Columbina) of the Fatui since it's also hinted or confirmed that she may be also a Seelie
Here is a note to the moon sisters :The sisters had war because there was a certain time where they traveled across the sky or something and it d they forget then something rlly bad would happen one sister forget to travel because she was destructet by her lover so she forget to travel to that Stetson place so the consequence was that the sistierst turned crazy and had war against each other
Holy Just how much did you research about this game! Great content!
it's always come back to venti that he became the main character at this point
LOLOL trueee
When you said 3 moons in my mind I had 3 things: the moon in the sky, Nahida who presented herself as the moon, and Lumine having her constellation being the moon (if you are asking, Aether has a star as constellation).
Don't know how important it is, it's just what came in my mind
Island has popped off in this one. Can't wait for the next one!
Thank you for being so patient!
i agree with everything except venti's dialogue about having meet them before, i don't think that was targeted toward the traveller, but paimon.
i think he has met paimon in the pass before she lost her memory
He said traveler not Paimon
8:24 Our abyss sibling says “i have traveled this world once.” so venti maybe had thought we were our abyss sibling
It probably means that the Tsaritsa wants to completely change the current ways and status quo of the world.
Thank you for this. This thought is very interesting! I shall keep in mind!
there is a place in mondstadt where the music from the starting screen plays like every other place has its own different music but suspiciously it is the only place where that music plays🤔🤔(correct me if I'm wrong)
Despite Venti's ties to the moon, the symbols on his archon's clothes resemble the sun. moreover, on his wings there is a golden ring that resembles the sun
Fantastic job Island ! I enjoyed your video a lot. Now my brain is going crazy, but I crave lore so much so this makes me happy
I am glad I could give you more entertainment! Thank you for supporting me and watching my videos!
"Aria" as it was used in the title of the song is more kind of a musical piece rather than a name. But I like the connection you've made between the word Aria in the game intro song, and one of the sisters. It's still possibly right though.
this lore is so heart-warming fr 😭😭
Looking forward to when the game refocuses on Mondstat again i.e. Venti Story Quest part 2 with the Mondstat weekly boss and potentially more sub-regions to be explored.
i bet in nahida’s second story quest we’re getting something about the moon and elves and stuff
I CANT WAIT!!!! NAHIDAAA
Damn sir, you have given your time doing this, subbing.
I randomly realised that paimon eyes look like moons in the sky the pupil is what look like a moon take any shot of her and you ll see idk if its accurate or not but yea
HOHOHO INTERESTING
The first long video that I didn't skip a second of. This was more interesting than any novel I've read 🤯
Island you forgot to mention that all three moon positions are Down,Middle,Above(celestial/beyond physical world) maybe just maybe i think that Paimon was close to all three of them
If we look at aranara quest Paimon was Portrayed as Silver floaty and there was a chariot that used to drag all the moon's around(looks like i forgot some lines) and the other thing is If you look at the Mondstad Church in map it has similar shape as Login Gate
