Like that Triumph! As you and many of your followers, have downsized from a Street Glide Special to HD Breakout thanks to my wife. I told her one day I guess my riding days are over. That SGS is getting too heavy and my long distance rides are done. She basically told me to get something smaller or you’ll miserable without a bike. So being a yes dear husband, and not needing baggage or a faring anymore, I test road some Sporties etc. They were a little too small. Then a Fat Boy & Breakout. The Breakout was the one! Have had her since May and have been having more fun riding her than anything I’ve ridden in years! This 73 year old timer has a wonderful wife to thank! Thanks for the ride on those NC back roads! So glad you’re back!
I never thought I'd part with my Heritage, but it was just getting too heavy. I also have some hip issues that were exacerbated by the feet forward riding position. I sold it at a great price and rode a little bit of everything before I decided on the Triumph. This Tiger is a blast to ride; comfortable, quick and it has loads of tech--which I've yet to figure out, ha. Congrats on the Breakout. It's one of the few Harleys left that actually looks like a Harley. Smaller motorcycles are just more fun to ride, in my opinion. I'm more confident on my smaller bikes, and it reminds of the reason I started riding years ago. I really appreciate the comments, my friend. Thanks for watching and ride safe!
I have the same color gt pro with the nelson rigg bag. Got it at select cycle. Can't say enough nice things about the staff there. Happy riding! Ride safe.
@@whoami155 well, you have the best color 😊. The Nelson-Rigg tail bag is deceptively big when it’s expanded. It will hold my size medium full faced helmet. I appreciate the comments. Ride safe!
Just turned 70. Been off motorcycles for 40 some odd years. Busy skiing and mountain biking. Lifestyles have caught up. Left knee replacement, right ankle replacement. It’s taken the fun out of my past pursuits. In comes the Tiger 900 GT Pro. I’m in Idaho with more dirt than pavement so I have Bridgestone AX 41s. I just putter about with my old fart buddies and have a heck of a time! I still have my 1974 Ducati 750 Sport I ride upon occasion. A fist full of ibuprofen will give me an hour’s ride. Similar to your Harleys. I get on the Tiger and it’s a magic carpet! Perfect all around ride.
@@boblynch7535 how do you get along with the seat? My only complaint is the seat hurts my butt after an hour. Other than that, I love everything else about the Tiger. I’m 66, and arthritis is doing a number on my hip. I never leave home without ibuprofen, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting. Keep riding, my friend, and stay safe!
Beautiful motorcycle and your reasons for going the ADV route are the same as mine. I love the lighter weight of my new BMW F750 GS and all the cool tech and safety features. The Triumph does have a few things stock that I wish mine had like the hand guards, heated seat and fog/driving lights. May have to add those to mine. Looking forward to our trip to WV in a few weeks. Take care buddy.
I’m shocked at how similar our motorcycles are. I’m really enjoying my Tiger, but I’d have been happy on a BMW, too. Let’s hope and pray the weather is good for our trip. I hate to get my hopes up, but I’m really looking forward to riding with you and John. Take care, buddy.
Well, just found this channel. I’m sure you’ve mentioned it, but I’m old and slow. 😮Doesn’t seem like you’ve had the Triumph a year! Nice looking bike. That’s a great road, very twisty once you hit Brushy Mountain Rd. Been on those roads many, many times. Ride safe.
I've ridden that road a few times, but I always forget about it. I love the scenery. There is nothing wrong with being old and slow. I'm right there with you, lol. Thanks for watching, buddy. Ride safe!
I have same bike but in blue brought mine in May 23 brand new ..triumph rider app turn by turn will only work for me if I put my phone in the storage compartment under riders seat and connect via USB then everything works good bit of a faf lifting the seat every time but at least then it works .....have Fun regards from the UK cheers Graham
About the only thing I don’t like about the Tiger is the Bluetooth connectivity. I will try your suggestion and see how that goes. Thank you very much for taking the time to watch and comment. Ride safe.
I don’t understand why so many “reviewers” ride around so much in 6th gear like it’s a requirement to get there as quickly as they can regardless of what speed they’re putting about at. Ride the motor! Use the gearbox! I cringe watching people ride a Triumph at 50 mph in 6th gear. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should 😢
First of all, I stated that I'm not a reviewer. I'm just a dude on a motorcycle. Secondly, you know you have the ability to click off the channel, right? No need to get worked up over something so trivial, buddy. Just move along and have a great day! Thanks for watching, though.😉

Indeed. I bought it for my royal Enfield interceptor 650. Traded it in for the gt pro. Safe rides. Hope to run into you in one of those rides

@@NCStoney Yeah, I start squirming after 2 hours. Seems after that it doesn’t get any worse?!
