The girls were so excited! That's so funny your first stop was back to the house - we nearly always forget something and have to go back😂One of the best parts of traveling is the food and going to different restaurants. Look at those palm trees🌴Thank you for sharing this! I'm looking forward to seeing your adventures at Disney💫
It is a coincidence that we both put up a video. One of my friends is at WDW this week, so it made me look back at my photos on my phone, so I decided to put a video together. The girls were just as excited to know they could watch it on the TV. That’s why I do it. So we can look back on our time together. And to see how much they’ve grown. And yes, we always forget something. 🤣 Thank you for watching Amy. You certainly don’t have to, especially since my videos are so badly boring. But that you do, means a lot. 😊
@@mom234ever3 Donna, your videos are not boring! You've created beautiful memories for your grandchildren and now they'll always have this vacation to look back on❤
That looked like a nice drive! Cafe du Monde is such a great choice! I went to the main one in New Orleans over a year ago, and I loved their beignets. Great video!
It was not bad since we broke it into three days. I refused to go the whole 18 hours without stopping, with two little ones. We’ve been to the one in old NOLA too. I liked this one better. No crowd, no wait. And parked right out front. 😆 Thanks for watching. That’s sweet of you. 😊
I missed your starting city. I'm driving solo as a 70 year-old for the 1st time from Houston in Sept. I I have been to WDW every other year with my son since my divorce 34 years ago, and this will be my first trip without him so will feel weird. I take 2 days and stay in either Daphne, AL or Pensacola. It will be a little lonely without my son but will be an adventure!
We live south of Fort Worth, so we head by way of I20 to Shreveport. Then get on 49 to go down south to Lafayette. I wish we could go every other year. This particular trip it had been 17 years since we’d been. Our kids were young back then. Now our grand babies are young. I’ve never done a solo vacation. You’re brave to do that. However, I have trouble with my feet and there were times where I just enjoyed sitting by myself just people watching, while they all stood in long lines. And even when our kids were young we broke up the trip into a three day drive. It’s at least 18 hours from where we live. That’s too far to drive straight there. We almost stayed in Fairhope Alabama. It looked like a nice little town. We did drive home this trip in two days. Stoped in Mobile. The grand daughters did awesome traveling the longer hours on the way back. What we didn’t know was that our daughter was expecting baby number three at the time and hadn’t told us. So it’s a good thing we went last summer. Our grandson is five months old now and I think he’d not enjoy that trip. He hates getting in his car seat. 😩 Thank you for taking the time to watch our family time together. That’s nice of you. 😊 Prayers for you to have a safe, fun filled adventure. 🙏🎢🎠
