I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
@JasonStathamOffical That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
Yes sir, I'm 66 years old & still have a full-time job. I'm a native to this state, the only time I left was to join the Army. The topic of this was cheapest, big cities with growing populations are not my ideal of retirement areas. I would opt for a small town. Merely my opinion sir.
Seems like the panhandle was overlooked. Some nice affordable towns near the Capitol. In central FL Ocala and Dunnellon are far more affordable than Gainesville and just as much fun.
I grew up in Miami & it's got everything I need BUT it's unaffordable 😢 a 1-1 goes for $2,000. So we the retired residents can't enjoy what we worked so hard for do to rich wanting to get richer😢
I love Lakeland,Florida but we’re currently being overtaken by Orlando & Tampa high income earners!!!!!….Wall-street equity firms and billionaire investors are also pushing us out of our communities!!!!
If its north of I-4 in central Florida its COLD THERE IN WINTER!! Yes we do use HEAT IN Florida!! The farther you go south- the higher the price to live there(not work there!!) Ocala is the hottest place in Summer and Coldest in the Winter. If you live more than 30 miles from the water- its hot there!! South of Tampa- south Hurricanes!! Along the water-flooding! In your house!! Sinkholes- a pit in the ground, 10' wide to 200' wide!! It happens!! A whole house fell in the ground, never found it or the owner either!! The cost to live here is as much or more than anywhere else in the USA!!
@@TJD656Do you live in Texas? This is something I have been thinking about - Texas or Florida, I am planning to move to one of them in 2025 but worried about cost of living. I am a Software Developer.
Lip, I live in Florida, born and raised in Miami. After retiring we moved to the middle of the state. Florida has its good and bad, like any other state. Florida is my home. Trust me, I have seen a lot of changes, I could write a book. You could give it a try, companies are always looking for good computer people. Florida is growing every day.
Jacksonville FL is one of the most expensive places on rents in FL has a very high homeless rate because of rent cost and the highest eviction rates in the states due to outstanding rents I know I live here 2024
It's close, maybe 15 or 20 miles away. You have to go across the mosquito lagoon, to get to Melbourne Beach. Just like saying Miami and Miami Beach. You go across biscayne bay. Those are bearer islands, Just a joke, the only difference is they help block the hurricane first for the inland people and about a million dollar being on the ocean. One thing I have observed when you live on the ocean or close. Everything either gets corroded or rust being that close to the salt water. Note Sebastian island is the same, just South of Melbourne Island and the city of Melbourne and the city of Sebastian. Both town are nice places to live, Sebastian may be a little cheaper.
You shouldn't tell people that, a Yankee may look on zillow a say look at this one Honey, it in opa locka florida is located at 350 Ala Baba Ave. It's a deal 95k.
Your lying about Kissimmee...your not from Florida & have no idea what your talking about A.I.!!!!!!!....I know because I'm a truck driver that deliver to all these markets 5 days per week!!!!...i've been to 95% of Florida's markets... especially the "golf chart communities" & "beach communities"!!!!!....these places are definitely not the "HOOD"!!!!!
Can't tell what you are saying here. Many affordable places are not near Orlando or Gainesville but away from the coast. Check out Dunnellon, Inverness and Dade City - all with good crime stats and medical facilities.
Gainesville is super expensive .. have been checking and can't afford any of it if I want to buy. Property taxes are the highest in the state or close to it

Texas is the place to move too. Fl. Is hot, hurricanes, traffic, cost of living. Why would someone want to move to Florida.
Because it isnt desert, over-run with illegals and we have beaches on 3 sides.
Florida is the place to move too. TX. Is hot, tornadoes, hurricanes, traffic, cost of living. Why would someone want to move to Texas.😉
HaHa,
Look at all the land and open space TEXAS has, third largest state, and nice quiet places like Lonesome Dove to live.

Lol this video is off by at least 50% bartow isn’t the cheapest but glad you posted up this video to make people confused.
what beaches have free parking
Fort Meade,Frostproof,Wachula,Ocheechobee & Lake Wales are definitely cheap because there's no good paying jobs in the middle of no where!!!
What about the crime rate in the cities this clip sugested?
Jacksonville FL is one of the most expensive places on rents in FL has a very high homeless rate because of rent cost and the highest eviction rates in the states due to outstanding rents I know I live here 2024
This is BS! The rural area in spring hill and brooksville and Homosassa are wayyyy cheaper
Melbourne is no where near the Atlantic...it is not even a main island. The video you are showing for Melborne is the Sebastian Inlet 😮
have you ever heard of melbourne beach? smh

I thought it was beside or close to Cocoa Beach
It is, the city of Cocoa and Cocoa Beach are just North of the city of Melbourne and Melbourne Beach.
Its cold on Gainsville, thats why the schools are there, nothing else was there!!
Bartow- they mine phosphate there ! Mountains of it underground!! Wanna live underground or fall in??
Clearwater beach
Oh guys, let her show us those puppies of hers!!
7:18 jacksonville
The reason its cheap is because the owners there want OUT!! NOT IN!! IS THAT SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT!!
If your black, you will fit right in, otherwise carry a torch in the day light!!
BS. Cheapest places to live in Florida include: Clewiston, Belle Glade, Opa Locka, and Apalachicola.
I think he meant “desirable” places to live

Honey, it in opa locka florida is located at 350 Ala Baba Ave. It's a deal 95k.
Melborne,Port St lucie. Other towns so hard to drive to the ocean. If you do not love the ocean why live in Florida?
Because of the springs. I'm a Florida native and don't really enjoy the beach unless it's cooler.
port st lousy😂
You mean Dead City- nothing there but trouble!! Lots of it!!
"paying $1,100 for a 1 BR is NOT affordable A.I.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... where's these people getting their information from????
Kissimmee is extremely high crime
Dade City- Home to nothing there!!
Tell us what there is there??
Get your gun while the buyer gets his cash!!
Florida…..lower cost of living?
I wouldn't ever live in Florida, anywhere, because you never know where a hurricane will hit!! It's a fools gamble living in Florida!!!
There are cheaper areas than these places.
Cheapest place...thats code for high crime rate😮😅😅😅😅
I thought crime would be so low in Florida!! USA is a 1st world country, right?
