Agreed. Leonard Cohen is in an argument with God. King David’s “hallelujah,” in the book of Psalms, is said to have pleased the Lord. Cohen addresses God: “But you don’t really care for music, do you?” PTX is one of my favorite groups and their background history is incredible! Vocal coach judging Pentatonix...RIGHT...As I remember, they will not release a song unless every member agrees, doesn't get harder than that!
Thank you! I love music but I honestly lack musical talent...I've tried to learn to play instruments, but I just lack the natural talent for it. Gardner sure knew what he was talking about. My voice is...decent...for the right style of music. I have a very deep voice and I've been told I can do a pretty good Eddie Vedder cover. I've sang Jeremy at Karaoke and gotten a pretty positive response. Can you tell me, who hits higher notes in this song...Kristie or Mitch? Because it seems like they both can really hit the high notes.

Hardly a Christian song. Despite its HEBREW title, it's a song that uses Biblical imagery to describe a love affair. It includes a lyric about a woman (sexual partner) tying the narrator to a kitchen chair which excites him so much he exclaims HALLELUJAH. If you sing that verse in your church I'd be very surprised. Songwriter Leonard Cohen -- a direct descendant of Hebrew High Priest Aaron, Moses' brother -- was Jewish-born and Buddhist.
