He was Pre-med at college when he joined the group. The trio (Scott- the blonde, Dark haired Angel is Mitch- and beautiful Talented Kirsty) have been friends since they were young. They were in musical theater and choirs all the time. When the 3rd season of the TV show The Sing Off happened in 2009 they had to have a bass and percussion. They knew Avi, he is a classically trained very deep voice with a beautiful head voice at times. They found Kevin Olusola on youtube. He writes & composes songs. He also plays the cello as he beatboxes. He calls it celloboxing. In 2017 Avi decided being on the road was too much and left the group. Matt Sallee was the one chosen to move forward with Pentatonix as the base. The first song to feature him was Sound of Silence. The group is still VERY ACTIVE. I hope to see you do every song they have.

I subscribed when you reacted to Bohemian Rhapsody, but for whatever reason TH-cam unsubscribed me. Good thing I check for Pentatonix reactions almost everyday, so I found your video and I noticed I wasn't subscribed anymore. I an now though. A capella, that's the name for what they do: music with no instruments. What Kevin (the one who does the percussion part) does is beatboxing. I'm not sure which one of those terms you were looking for lol. I have many favorites but I would love for you guys to check out their live version of Hallelujah that's up on their channel. Pentatonix has around 16 studio albums and EPs and a bunch of singles. I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions about what to listen to, but when you are first starting out I think it's good for you to look at their songs and pick something that looks interesting to you. I don't think there's any other group I could say this about, but in over 10 years of recordings there are none I haven't liked.

If you want to see them perform live on a British TV show, they were on Sunday Brunch in 2015 and sang 3 songs. They also showed that they don’t have cooking skills. You should try Evolution of Music, Imagine or Sound of Silence.
Pentatonix is amazing!!! Before I found them I wasn’t really big into chrismas music but all of their songs are just INCREDIBLE!! If I put any suggestions I’d probably end up listing every single song they’ve sang so for the time being 😅😅 the suggestions from the comments are really good choices!! I think you should check out Imagine since I love the meaning of the whole song.

You should really take a look at Kevin Olusola (the beat boxer) doing a solo cover of two other songs: "Down" and "Sign of the Times". This will show you just how talented the one individual of the group really is. Please do reactions to each of those songs.
Ladies now that you heard PTX's version of this beautiful Xmas song, you need to react to Home Free's version which just came out 2 months ago. Like PTX, Home Free is also an A Capella band of 5 guys who happen to have the richest harmonies on earth. These are the top two A Capella bands out there. PTX won the Sing Off in 2012 and HF won it in 2013. Hearing both groups means double your pleasure.

Ladies now that you heard PTX's version of this beautiful Xmas song, you need to react to Home Free's version which just came out 2 months ago. Like PTX, Home Free is also an A Capella band of 5 guys who happen to have the richest harmonies on earth. These are the top two A Capella bands out there. PTX won the Sing Off in 2012 and HF won it in 2013. Hearing both groups means double your pleasure.
