God Gundam is one of my top favourite Gundam designs so I preordered one as soon as they were available. It's a genuinely great kit with fantastic center of balance thanks to the lack of heavy wings and minimal weapons. It's such a massive step-up from the old HG, which was also a huge improvement over the MG. This makes me wish Bandai revisits some of their older kits like the SEED RGs - specifically Destiny Gundam - and give it a 2.0 treatment that more akin to the God Gundam in build quality.
I agree, the old rgs are just hand grenades... these new frames are excellent for them. Not a big 1/144 collector but these newer ones have been amazing.
@@vancyhobbies I'm dying for an MGEX Destiny Gundam honestly. MGs would be fantastic but due to my lack of space, smaller kits that pack so much playability for a lower cost is a godsend.
I love big kits, but I'm willing to make a exception for the god gundam. I don't have it yet, but this gundam fighter is on my radar with the Hi-Nu. But I will echo your sentiment about the RG and HG kits, they are too freakin' small! I also have somewhat big hands and sometimes trying to build some of the smaller parts is a very taxing exercise in patience and self control.
Ive only just started building RG but this is easily the best so far gonna be hard to beat tbh, its really not that hard a build though it does take a while
got the RG G Gundam and it isnt the best rg kit for me cause the ankle armor cracked and one of the wings on mine broke take note the kit is only clean built no panel lines or anything so if it comes to best RG for me its the Hi-Nu or Force Impulse
@@vancyhobbies yup its not that i hate the kit i actually love it but ofc it got its flaws and hi-nu is always my favourite since it was my first ever bandai kit and rg kit
Just got this for $45 on eBay and I’m stoked for it to arrive! Awesome video!
Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching!

haha shelf space our mortal enemy!
That would be super sick to get some "remastered" kits with the new interframe tech.
Happy to say I got him for 39$ including thr shipping fee ...... Iam super happy this is a Christmas gift for myself
Very nooice! It's a great kit.
As a certified lego technic builder i see this as a total win 😂
Yes most definitely, a great kit to add to your collection.

imagine putting on the the decals lol took me forever. For the rg hi nu its surprisingly big for a 144 scale big, as the mg wing gundams.
yes, yes it is.

Ya such tiny pieces for a tiny kit.
you want it in a 2.0 master grade. it already had an MG but a really old one at that. and the HiRes version is too expensive
Yes a 2.0 would make me jump for joy!
Its good for crazy pose. But i like hi nu n sazabi for rg. I'll build this one on Monday 😂
Rg Hi nu and sazabi are 👌👌👌 absolutely love them.
@@vancyhobbies i have a headache while building other rg like banshee n unicorn. I hope this god g as fun as hi nu n sazabi

Damn sorry to hear that, I was scared of snapping things on it as well because of how small it was. The hi nu was much easier to handle.

All those stickers😅
Sticker application is 50% of the build 😆
It's not the best RG ever (that would be the hi-nu in my humble opinion) BUT it's probably top 3. If not top 5 for SURE.
Yep nothing wrong with that, the last couple rgs have been killer kits.
I haven't bought Gundam for years. I divert all my money to Nendoroids nowadays... Gundam can be BORING after a while.
That's why I got into digimon and zoids as well 😄
...gunpla for nendos.. what
The head connection is stable not flying around like that. I think you built it wrong at the neck
You're probably right, still an awesome kit thought. I have it on my desk to mess around with 😆
@@vancyhobbies yeah but the head is tight u can transform into hyper mode smoothly. It will be much more awsome
