I believe the same happened to me. I was benched most of the time in our soccer team. One day our Coach decided to play me. I wasn't playing well,I prayed silently"God help me"and when they were about to sub me,I scored a beautiful long range goal and they didn't sub me,and during the second half I scored another long range beautiful goal which still lives in my memory, everyone was shocked. My Coach couldn't believe it, they gave me a Nickname after that match "finesse". We won 2-1 and we won the tournament. I was a key player after that match,and they played me regularly.
