Can't even tell you how many times I've watched this video. The BEST motorcycle video on the internet. Lovely sound! Incredible cinematography! Truly takes the viewer for a ride. Makes me think of WWII fighter planes in a dog fight.
I remember the sound..................and then the sound abruptly quitting and coasting silently off the road,and starting to take things apart to see where the magic smoke got out. Many times my Norton caught rides home in the back of a truck. I think when the rotor exploded and took out the stator and primary drive,that was a significant event of ownership,I knew it was serious then. 200 miles from home. Rode home on the back of a Ducati that only had seating for one really............good times.

Typicle featherbed Norton, Think right, go right, Think left turn left. ride out for more than 10 minutes, something falls off LOL. What was it by the way ? a baffle perhaps?? Great video, If you had been on the other side of the road it could have been 60's Britain!!!

Same thing happened to me while riding in the mtns.of Vermont ,the pitch of the exhaust changed,I thought it was due to the elevation change,but it was the muffler baffle loosening up and falling out,if you have an older Norton,buy a bottle of Loctite!!
Doesn’t compare but my modern Triumph Cafe Racer give me the s@me thrill. When I first got mine I rode to Hastings on A and B roads. This during the Pandemic. But we were allowed out by this point. I came blasting out of a corner approaching a pub that was full of Hells angels in the car park. Everyone of them stopped what they were doing and stared. Then started to grin as I went past with the noise of the overrun as I went off and on the throttle.

I'm a teenager in 2024 and i enjoy old bikes a lot, watching this video makes me feel happy and the sound of this Norton makes my heart beat faster
Nice cafe racer , good video, can't beat a great ride out . I've always had a motorcycle since 16 years old ,I'm now 64 and still enjoy it
