Remember: when soldier boy fought HL at herogasm…he was gassed after destroying all the Supes with a blast. Butcher was still able to go toe to toe with HL during that fight and didn’t take too much damage. When SB fought Butcher in the finale…ButCher stood absolutely no chance. SBs punches did crazy damage to Butcher. Also….in the comics HLs only loss was to a clone of himself. HL is a clone of SB so it would be fitting for SB to take down HL.
As for the aging, I think it's because Soldier Boy like Stormfront was given the original Compound V. While all supes after Soldier Boy and Stormfront were given Volgubaum's recreation/new V.
No there is no aging question to start with in regards to Soldier Boy. Flashbacks show a CGI deaged Jensen Ackles as past Soldier Boy and current time scenes show a clearly almost 50 years old Jensen Ackles as modern Soldier Boy. Only idiots are like "um herp derp Soldier Boy doesn't age." The original supes do age, just slightly slower because their bodies are more durable and their immune systems are better at killing old cells but their DNA still breaks down eventually. About the only one possibly immune will be Kimiko due to her fast healing, but she has clearly aged in just a few seasons, so her healing factor probably won't protect her from bad DNA either, in fact if her healing starts from cells that had injured DNA then she will possibly age even faster. As for Homelander, the kid has been mentally and emotionally unstable since day one due to Vaught's intention to make a controllable and easily manipulated psychopath...that kind of constant mental and emotional stress will give you gray hair and wrinkles far sooner, hell look at military guys even if they never deploy to a combat zone, they are super fit but still go gray/balled early and their faces can easily look 50-60 when they are in their 30s to 40s.| All other new supes that have been shown to age are a result of talking massive amounts of drugs including compound V to enhance the effects of other drugs.
I keep watching the Boys this season, despite the off the rails plot points, on the hope that Soldier Boy makes a return. By far the best, most interesting character on the show. Total badass, full of toxic masculinity, unfeminized. This is why fans are drawn to him.
Well I think the Soldier Boy we see on the show is the FIRST Soldier Boy versus that second Soldier Boy that's a big crybaby. Because the comic actually has TWO Soldier Boy's
@@MisterSinister47naah, in the comics Soldier Boy is supposed to be a parody of Captain America, even the original one, so he was nowhere near as strong or invulnerable as the show version of Soldier Boy. The show version is different.
@@abhisheklama1393 • Yeah; I know that part. But they took the old Soldier Boy in the comics and made him OP is what I'm saying. They just twisted the story around for the character.
@@MisterSinister47 yes, the show version is like the actual Captain America in the sense that he is pretty old and has been under for a long time. But I think they made him that strong just because it was Jensen playing the character lol.
Soldier Boy is like when you put all your stats into defense. I think compared to the other supes he's the most durable, even more than Homelander. Homelander has flight and speed and more strength but I honestly don't think Homelander could kill Soldier Boy even with his advantages. We've yet to see anything hurt Soldier Boy but Maeve was able to wound Homelander. So I think that's what they're leaning into, Soldier Boy being the most invulnerable and durable Supe alive. Maybe not the strongest or fastest or with most diverse powers but DEFINITELY an immovable object so to speak
Thats like sayinh kryptonite is more powerful than Superman. Ryan is the most powerful as the writers said his enraged heat vision is stronger than Homelanders, yes they said that He is just not strong physically due to his age
@@newhybrid101no one ever said his heat vision is stronger than homelander’s he’s just possibly going to grow and become physically as strong or as strong as his father hence him being a possible contingency for him. Soldier boy however is literally more durable than even homelander outright. After getting hit by HL he suffered no visible damage while homelander got bruises from the fight. Homelander was hurt by someone lower than him in the form of Maeve. Solider boy has only been visibly harmed by a full force blast of butcher’s heat vision to the face. That only left a small cut on his cheek. He may be slightly weaker than homelander but strong enough to almost match him while being more durable with a more deadly blast at his call.
Second. He needs help to take on homelander. It was clear in their fight that homelanders strength was starting to overwhelm him and homelander was gonna choke him out till butcher stepped in. It took three supes to hold homlander down for solider boy to get a clean shot in with his nuke in both times he interacted with homelander. He clearly can't take homalder on by himself.
wrong soldier boy didn’t age at all before the russians took him, he would have been over the age of 60 years old when the russians captured him in the 1980s considering he was in world war 2 a 40 year old gap from the 40s to the 80s so the russian experiments are not what stoped his aging, also stormfront didnt age as well either so it’s safe to say that given compound v in high dosage and a controlled laboratory setting can give them near immortality.
Yeah he really hasn't aged since he became a supe. It seems he ages like Wolverine James Howlett which was born in 1832. Don't know if Soldier Boy will age at all but I'm thinking he does age but very very slow
@@LAWLESSXX88 it’s a possibility but only time will tell but from the looks of it he’s close to 100 years old and still looks young, the v has either stopped the aging or has slowed it down to a minuscule amount .

I think what should've also been covered or discussed is that he's so strong that he's the only person who can really carry his shield, which I am interested in learning the properties of as is so heavy that no normal human being could even pull it off the ground yet Soldier Boy is able to hold it with one hand and use it as a defensive weapon in the same motion, and how it's able to take both heat vision blasts from Butcher and Homelander as well as buck shots from Mother's Milk
Probably just a hunk of solid high grade steel. It looked to be about 2 inches thick so it'd weigh probably 300 lbs easily and depending on the alloy could be heat resistant to a degree
My man has so much combat experience he was washing homelander , mave , kimiko and star light if mave hadn’t jumped out the window with him they would’ve been done for
I doubt one blast would kill Homelander if Maeve only loses her powers to a perfect hit. I can picture Soldier Boy wiping out at least half of Homelander's powers with a single blast.
I cant see homelander surviving the blast with his powers.i also cant see him tanking it without receiving some form of damage.i mean in s 3 finale we saw hiw sb powers literally lowered homelander like stats.a metal straw pierced his ears.so saying that his powers are cut is kinda dumb as sb literally fries v out of their bloodstream .so yes he msy survive but without powers
.billy already captured Sameer.sameer is literally gonna make it strong enough to kill homelander.unless u believe that's head cannon why else would there be a virus to kill supes. Alr then let's say the virus is gone.we can't ignore the fact that butcher literally captured sameer.why else would he need Sameer?.like I said Sameer is gonna make it stronger.they gonna somehow inject homelander and that's a big if.but then homelander ded cuz virus bounds itself to the v in their bloodstream
@@iconsumeoxygen7473butcher has the scientist to make more, and it u watched the season 3 finally he was literally about to hit him with his full powered beam. Only reason he didnt at herogasm is bc he was weak after just shooting the beam.
How is this even debatable? Soldier boy more durable than homelander. Soldier boy and homelander have arguably the same superstrength. Homelander shoots lazer eyes, while soldier boy shoots a damn nuke beam. Comparison isnt even close lmao😂
It’s kinda cool that soldier boy seems to be an immovable object to homelanders unstoppable force. One is about impossible to imagine defense while also being extremely strong and the other has godlike strength while also having above average defense
Soldier boy doesn’t age because soldier boy and stormfront and the early sups got a pure dose of compound V made by Fredrick Vaught and not the watered down version made by Dr Volgebaum.
Actually his aging was delayed long before his capture. The Legend revealed he was already old age-wise during that commercial especially next to the girl he shared the screen with and they had to hide that. So his anti-aging is part of his power.
the enemy of my enemy is my friend, ultimately the biggest enemy of soldier boy is vought since they gave soldier boys team the green light to put soldier boy down for the count. Sure billy and the boys did something similar but soldier boy might be able to empathize with billy protecting ryan if billy gives a convincing and sincere enough speech to soldier boy, soldier boy wouldn't forgive them, but for the sake of taking down his biggest enemy, he might team up with the boys again, begrudgingly of course.
I hope we get to see soldier boy again this season (maybe his big chest explosion "super, be gone!" thing is a big part of the the virus Butcher is making to kill supes
The show version of soldier boy is definitely power enough to at least seriously cripple Homelander. The man pretty much faught all the boys, and the 7 at the finally and they hardly contained him.
Power difference between the Homelander and the Soldier Boy: "During the mission Nicaragua, he can be seen taking down trained soldiers by the dozen without any sign of fatigue." Impressive.. How Homelander takes them down? He shows up.
Can someone please explain the "Kimiko" piano/singing arc? They introduced some girl that was influential enough to make her start wanting to learn, kept singing the song the 2 briefly sang together and then just stopped. Then again I'm half way thru season 3, but so far....nothing
We need Soldier boy to return after Butcher fails to use the virus on Homelander and for Soldier boy to reign in Homelander alongside Ryan and so everything balances out and they can have some sort of happy ending as a family and so can the world. I don’t want Homelander to die it wouldn’t be fair to his story arc. For once the villain needs to fly off into the sunset and start again.
He does return but in a short shot when homelander looks at his pod (in which he is frozen in). Homelander is in that facility to free frozen supes for his supe army
I think the aging can be explained by him taking an older version of compound V. It is known that Dr Vought made a pure and perfect version of compound V, but it was diluted by US government due to cut budget. I think along with storm-front he took an early version and it made him ageless just like her. He also took it as an adult so it was likely same version as one stormfront took. I do wanna point out that there are still ageless dupes made with newer compound v such as black noir so it really may all be just his luck.
wasn’t noir also active in soldier boys team? i dont think it has anything to do with how early it was, some payback members aged some didn’t. it seems to be random as one of the powers people get
You do know Homelander is also durable, he is the genetic clone of Stormfront and Soldierboy his father. Soldierboy's radiation blast may weakend Homelander but not to the point to strip him off his powers.
The toughness of his shield may be due to how absurdly dense it is.. Hughie, while no manner of benchmark for strength could barely budge the shield using all his strength when he tried to lift it. Yet soldier boy pushes him aside & picks it like it was weightless. So the shield is likely just absurdly dense & heavy
I argue that Soliderboy is stronger than Homelander. The blast weakens him to about 50 percent and even at that he can still tussle with Homelander. At 100 percent he can fully choke Homelander out and the only reason Ryan knocked him down was because he was in the process of blasting Homelander. When he subdued his blast he knocked Ryan completely out. Naw Soliderboy is the strongest sup, no doubt.
Here's a question though. Most of the other supes got their powers from compound V. But Homelander is different. He got his powers from SB. Therefore maybe SBs power to delete Compund V may not work on Homelander.
Riddle me this: if soldier boy could easily toss a car, why couldn’t he toss kimiko and everyone else through a couple buildings? Let me guess, V also makes the user heavier?🤔
the problem of tv show is that they have developed so many story lines that the entire season 4 is just a bunch of fillers. They needed to get rid some of the characters to close their story lines so there would be more screen time for developing that Soldier boy vs Homelander vs Butcher arc, which is basically the main storyline everyone is following, instead of watching A-train being resurrected like tenth time in a row
There's a theory that Soldier Boy doesn't age because he was first exposed to V as an adult. All other sups were injected as babies so Vought had to let them age.
but why doesn’t his radiation energy destroy his uniform? I mean, his uniform is simply made of leather fabric plastics, etc. his suit isn’t built for his radiation energy, He got those powers after getting kidnapped by Russians Is that plot armor? why did they made Hughie naked when he teleports?
I bet ryan is going to end up becoming more evil and stronger than homelander and butcher and homelander will have to team up to stop him but ryan and homelander will take eachother out
Nah, homelander definitely stronger, really it’s only his beam that’s the problem but it has a long wind up and it’s only viable if the person he’s aiming at is stuck or stunned
I believe soldier boy doesn't age and homeland does because soldier boy was injected as an adult, after his body had fully grown while homelander was born a supe so would naturally age.
Actually, in the comic book: the first soldier boy was not a coward, but was found unconscious in a war battle, was found and shot on the head while unconscious. The second soldier boy in the comic version was a coward.
Even though it seems unlikely so far that he will return in Season 4, I would More than LOVE to see him Returning. He is the reason I started watching the Boys. I feel like he is going to return in The final Season, Season 5 as they know fans will Love his return, especially in the Final season. Although he could return this Season somehow like Stan Edgar did. Unlikely Though, we'll see.

I have a theory about Meave and Soldier Boy when they fell off the tower. I believe that Soldier Boy threw her behind his back so that she wouldn't be hit by a nuclear explosion. I think he had respect for her for being the only one who kept her word and wanted to kill Homlander. I don't know to what extent and if it has completely lost its power... In my opinion, she regenerates and V stayed in her veins. If she didn't have it anymore, she wouldn't have survived the fall from such a height. In my opinion, Soldier Boy was getting stronger with each blast, and maybe every day without inhaling the gas with which they were freezing him, he weakened him and needed time to get it out. Butcher and Homlander were banging hard, and in the last episode of Soldier Boy, he destroyed Butcher. You could see a huge advantage not only in training, but also in strength... In my opinion, Soldier Boy will come back when Meave regains his power and tries to free him. I think Homlander will find out that she is alive and kill her love. He will kill her in front of Meave and leave her alive to live with it. Then Meave will somehow combine the C-V and regain power. He will find out about Soldier Boy and free him. I think that both of them will not survive the clash, and certainly one of them.
I think the only reason solder boy was losing to homelander at herogasm was because he used his depower blast before fighting homelander, since we have onky seen solder boy use it once a day
I don't think it will come down to Soldier Boy versus Homelander. I think the two will team up and Soldier Boy may somehow be proud of Homelander, this time around. It might not be long term, as I don't see the two trying to alpha it out together.
Well, turns out u we’re wrong because they THANKFULLY had the short after credits scene showing Homelander being shown by the new president that they are now in possession of the comatose Soldier Boy🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
My theory is that instead of coolling the shiel when it was crafted the cooled it with compound v or its just a big chunk of heat resistant titanium whis explains why regular humans cant pick it up
He is probably the most durable supe even more than Homelander , not sure if Homelander on anybody else could actually kill him? Maybe Homelander could put that gas mask on him after a hard fight but kill him? I don't see how , but SB on the other hand could potentially kill any supe with his nuke
I honestly think hes at least on par or if not more durable then homelander. In their fight he bruised homelander while remaining unscathed. Aswell as he already blew his load with that beam so he was worn out in his fight with homelander. So it could also be argued that his strength is close if not equal fully charged.

I mean yeah like even homelander is being shown to age yet him and Stormfront didn’t, shit they even hooked up
No there is no aging question to start with in regards to Soldier Boy.
Flashbacks show a CGI deaged Jensen Ackles as past Soldier Boy and current time scenes show a clearly almost 50 years old Jensen Ackles as modern Soldier Boy.
Only idiots are like "um herp derp Soldier Boy doesn't age."
The original supes do age, just slightly slower because their bodies are more durable and their immune systems are better at killing old cells but their DNA still breaks down eventually.
About the only one possibly immune will be Kimiko due to her fast healing, but she has clearly aged in just a few seasons, so her healing factor probably won't protect her from bad DNA either, in fact if her healing starts from cells that had injured DNA then she will possibly age even faster.
As for Homelander, the kid has been mentally and emotionally unstable since day one due to Vaught's intention to make a controllable and easily manipulated psychopath...that kind of constant mental and emotional stress will give you gray hair and wrinkles far sooner, hell look at military guys even if they never deploy to a combat zone, they are super fit but still go gray/balled early and their faces can easily look 50-60 when they are in their 30s to 40s.|
All other new supes that have been shown to age are a result of talking massive amounts of drugs including compound V to enhance the effects of other drugs.
@@alexistaylor969 No? They used CGI to make him look older
@@alexistaylor969not really slightly slower is it when you consider soldier boy is around 1 year old

I keep watching the Boys this season, despite the off the rails plot points, on the hope that Soldier Boy makes a return. By far the best, most interesting character on the show. Total badass, full of toxic masculinity, unfeminized. This is why fans are drawn to him.
Same! This new season is wack regardless... But super sucks because no Soldier Boy or even mention of him... Smh

@@MisterSinister47 That's right! I forgot about that.
@@MisterSinister47naah, in the comics Soldier Boy is supposed to be a parody of Captain America, even the original one, so he was nowhere near as strong or invulnerable as the show version of Soldier Boy. The show version is different.

"All his stats into defense"? Dude, he tears apart 99% of supes with his bare hands.
I think that would be a good play. There should be advantages and disadvantages. A part of me hope he takes the final villain role.
Soldier Boy is the most powerful sup in thst universe, considering he can shut down any other sup power and kill them as normal humans.
Thats like sayinh kryptonite is more powerful than Superman.
Ryan is the most powerful as the writers said his enraged heat vision is stronger than Homelanders, yes they said that
He is just not strong physically due to his age

@@PinaKoalaGaming no where was this said
wrong soldier boy didn’t age at all before the russians took him, he would have been over the age of 60 years old when the russians captured him in the 1980s considering he was in world war 2 a 40 year old gap from the 40s to the 80s so the russian experiments are not what stoped his aging, also stormfront didnt age as well either so it’s safe to say that given compound v in high dosage and a controlled laboratory setting can give them near immortality.

I heard it was tungsten steel
@jlogan2228 , 300 lbs would be easy for other supes to lift, that shield should be close to 1 ton at least.
I’m pretty sure many other supes can lift his shield with no problem. It’s just too heavy for normies

How is this even debatable? Soldier boy more durable than homelander. Soldier boy and homelander have arguably the same superstrength. Homelander shoots lazer eyes, while soldier boy shoots a damn nuke beam. Comparison isnt even close lmao😂
soldier boy cannot always use his nuke feature, but homelander can shoot lasers continuously until he destroys the world.
It’s kinda cool that soldier boy seems to be an immovable object to homelanders unstoppable force. One is about impossible to imagine defense while also being extremely strong and the other has godlike strength while also having above average defense
Soldier boy can kill homelander with his Rizz😂😂😂 so if he uses his powers then no chance
Commenting from the future -- he’s back, baby!
Soldier boy doesn’t age because soldier boy and stormfront and the early sups got a pure dose of compound V made by Fredrick Vaught and not the watered down version made by Dr Volgebaum.
Who’s here after watching the Finale of Season 4?
His suite was the best suite in the entire series. Definitely Movie worthy quality. You can tell they put in a lot of work in his suite.
I just thought SB hasn't aged became the Russians had Winter Soldier'd him through the years and put him on ice.
The anti aging has nothing to do with the Russians he was in his 60s when he was captured
Excellent new Soldier Boy video happy Saturday afternoon to you. Captain America + Winter Soldier + Havok from X Men = Soldier Boy
All them heroes are good with decent intentions, not saying Soldier Boy is the worst guy but he IS a bad guy, just not as awful as Stormfront or HL.
This Soldier Boy would have a stand alone movie on is own.
I really hope they bring him back, definitely one of my favorite characters
The show version of soldier boy is definitely power enough to at least seriously cripple Homelander. The man pretty much faught all the boys, and the 7 at the finally and they hardly contained him.
"Moreover, there doesnt seem to be much room for Soldier Boy in the current narrative"
Me weeks later after the finale:😜😜😜😁
Power difference between the Homelander and the Soldier Boy:
"During the mission Nicaragua, he can be seen taking down trained soldiers by the dozen without any sign of fatigue."
Impressive..
Soldier Boy would do all the same fucked up crap as Homelander...
His shield is so heavy that Hughie once tried to lift it up and failed to even move it.
I do wanna point out that there are still ageless dupes made with newer compound v such as black noir so it really may all be just his luck.
wasn’t noir also active in soldier boys team? i dont think it has anything to do with how early it was, some payback members aged some didn’t. it seems to be random as one of the powers people get
Hell yeah I'd love to see soldier boy come back in the next season. They showed us he's still alive for some reason
So funny when someone who doesn't fully know the story makes and explained video
He is back boyss
The radiation isn't the reason for him not ageing, the legend confirms that he just doesn't age prior to being captured
100% best character in the show by far
I think a full powered blast would take the V out of homelander or probably make his powers decline until he has none
You do know Homelander is also durable, he is the genetic clone of Stormfront and Soldierboy his father. Soldierboy's radiation blast may weakend Homelander but not to the point to strip him off his powers.
solider boy diffuse any sups power without blasting just like he did with twins and homelander
"He used to be the mightiest superhero for many years before homelander is even born" zooms out to a pic of him pissing himself lmao
Soldier boi bout to wake up saying (did you pray today) bro is coming for em 💀
Bro got the Built in EMP for supes
I argue that Soliderboy is stronger than Homelander. The blast weakens him to about 50 percent and even at that he can still tussle with Homelander. At 100 percent he can fully choke Homelander out and the only reason Ryan knocked him down was because he was in the process of blasting Homelander. When he subdued his blast he knocked Ryan completely out. Naw Soliderboy is the strongest sup, no doubt.
We want a one on one fight, Homelander vs Soldier Boy
He's not just maybe the most powerful supe, he also got power negation like damn
Let me guess, V also makes the user heavier?🤔
it’s a tv show without that kinda budget, should’ve occured to you when the building they 3v1ed homelander was still standing
the problem of tv show is that they have developed so many story lines that the entire season 4 is just a bunch of fillers.
All other sups were injected as babies so Vought had to let them age.
heres the real question i wanna know, can soldier boi neutralize neuman and stan edgar?
0:19 Slashed cheek but sure "impenetratable". The gas thrown at him by MM is not Novichok but Halothane.
the cheek was not slashed it get lasered by butcher from point blank range with his full power
but why doesn’t his radiation energy destroy his uniform? I mean, his uniform is simply made of leather fabric plastics, etc. his suit isn’t built for his radiation energy, He got those powers after getting kidnapped by Russians

Soldier boy is THE most powerful Supe, and it's not close lol
Nah, homelander definitely stronger, really it’s only his beam that’s the problem but it has a long wind up and it’s only viable if the person he’s aiming at is stuck or stunned
Showrunners literally said No to that, so yeah, it's not close, because he isn't.
They cannot contain Homelander.
I believe soldier boy doesn't age and homeland does because soldier boy was injected as an adult, after his body had fully grown while homelander was born a supe so would naturally age.
The shield was destroyed by MMs shotgun lmao
Actually, in the comic book: the first soldier boy was not a coward, but was found unconscious in a war battle, was found and shot on the head while unconscious. The second soldier boy in the comic version was a coward.
Bro is strongest in the boyz tv sereis. he can outlive all the supes there and cook their powers too if necessary. bro is him.

Soldier boys clothes are tuff too
I have a theory about Meave and Soldier Boy when they fell off the tower.
He’s definitely coming back lol
So does bro just read off the wiki page for each video?
I think the only reason solder boy was losing to homelander at herogasm was because he used his depower blast before fighting homelander, since we have onky seen solder boy use it once a day
I don't think it will come down to Soldier Boy versus Homelander. I think the two will team up and Soldier Boy may somehow be proud of Homelander, this time around. It might not be long term, as I don't see the two trying to alpha it out together.
I thought SB's arc blast nullifies superpowers.

He is probably the most durable supe even more than Homelander , not sure if Homelander on anybody else could actually kill him? Maybe Homelander could put that gas mask on him after a hard fight but kill him? I don't see how , but SB on the other hand could potentially kill any supe with his nuke
He's DEAN WINCHESTER! He can kill ANYTHING.
can you kill homelander or soldier boy by just suffocating without air soldier boy seemed to have almost passed out
I honestly think hes at least on par or if not more durable then homelander. In their fight he bruised homelander while remaining unscathed. Aswell as he already blew his load with that beam so he was worn out in his fight with homelander. So it could also be argued that his strength is close if not equal fully charged.
