One line alone proves a-train will never be the flash "i can clear the boroughs in like 3 hours". Granted yes, he was fast enough to dodge Starling's attack, somehow.. do we all truly forget just how fast cw flash is for comparison?? Even at his most depleted, not that "I've only got 1% of my speed" bs from the later seasons. Im talking season 4, flash vs a nuke. Flash was running across the city multiple times for help. Attempted to throw lightning at the nuke, was sharing his speed with non speedsters to get them into flash time AND then still ran into the speed force. Yeah A train's not catching up to season 4 flash let alone "all forces" flash

Y'all are taking this too seriously lol the boys actually use some realistic physics when it comes to the powers of supes where the Marvel characters and DC characters, are able to do things that would be absolutely impossible in real life and don't take real physics and science into consideration. Homelander not saving the plane from crashing is a perfect example. Homelander himself said if he tried to lift the plane he would just go straight through the haul and also because there's nothing to support him in the air while carrying something so large.

DC has the most unrealistic approach totally ignoring real life physics. Then marvel a close second with more real world physics being used. Finally the boys while still a bit off has the most realistic take on supes interacting with real world physics.

A trains powers don’t “Depend” on drugs. Compounded V is what made the supes in the show they don’t have to constantly take the drug it’s not Temp V

They didn't censor his character because it was too brutal to depict on television they changed his character because the comic book version didn't suit the story they wanted to tell. If you're going to be doing video essays you should probably have at least a modicum of media literacy

If A-Train was fast as the Flash, he wouldn't need more Compound V and he would be faster than Homelander. Plus, A-Train would have run faster into the past or future if he have the Speed force.
A train is a child taking its first steps compared to flash. The flash can run with enough speed through a city that the friction he caused in the air would replicate nuclear bomb blasts. Flashes inf punch is practically a singularity being created on whatever he hits vaporizing then combusting the remaining cloud of bio mass creating an appropriate explosion that bio mass could exchange into heat and light, it's not close.
Depends on which version as wally west can literally go to the end of time while not needing any special upgrades and with the mobious he is a god not to mention the abilities he got from the stillness let's him solo almost anyone due to the fact people can't even react to his attacks and allen is also a no unless a-train can eject enough v to himself without having a heart attack until he can time travel which (in my opinion) is still a hell no as he has total molecular control over his body which results in him being able to create construct versions of himself. Barry can learn anything in a split second whereas it would take a normal person years to be an expert on something He can outwit a foe very quickly as well. And if u talk about Jason Peter "Jay" Garrick he might have a chance with enough v but still Jason also has the speed force and without it if you give him (a-train) enough v he could possibly beat him but with the speed force we have not been shown the full extent of his abilities yet to speculate but my guess is that train might win.
Only seen the Amazon show. But unless ATrain speed actually is tied to the Speed Force somehow not a chance in keeping up with Flash or Quicksilver. Their speed would leave him speechless

I don’t think he’s even as fast as quicksilver. When Quicksilver was first introduced, he was fast as the speed of sound, but he has been updated to be Mach 10 (the last comic book I read with him in it).

The flash is faster than A-train by a wider margin than A-train is faster than regular people. The flash is more powerful, His source of power - the speed force is arguably a greater source of power than any other superhero. HOWEVER I think A-Train is, in some ways, better than the flash. For example!! Because he is a V-Powered individual, he does have some inherent super strength and durability. You could kill the flash in his sleep, but you might have a hard time finding a conventional weapon that can hurt even a sleeping A-Train. Just giving credit where credit is due!

I dislike both people, mostly because The Flash depends on a sentient entity to make him go faster, and while A-Train didn't naturally have that level of speed. But I personally like A-Train more just because I have a bias against CW's The Flash, but if they were to end up in a fight against each other, I can admit that The Flash would absolutely beat A-Train.
Yep perfectly stated and technically only quick silver is naturally fast as mutants are genetics. Meanwhile flash essentially is tied to the speed force which in some comics has been weakened. A train is not tied to anything but compound V has its limits and only upgrades the human body

It really sucks that A-Train is so slow but he is said to be the fastest man in the world in The Boys universe. The heros in the boys universe are not meant to be looked up to like Marvel or DC. I really do hope they do more justice to black characters because as you’ve said, the representation really sucks so far.

Yes, he is slower but MAYBE because he is really recent. The character has barely 10 years unliked Barry, Jay, and Wally (who is the oldest technically speaking. It's the same Wally as the one introduced in the 50s when I mean the same. This character avoided all reboots, etc, unlike the rest of the characters)
Idk why because a hero is black he needs to be the fastest, there's plenty of comic book characters where a black person is the 'best' at something besides speed in their respective universe. Spawn is pretty much the most powerful being in his universe even defeating heaven. Mr Terrific is the smartest human. John Stewart can create light constructs better than any other Green Lantern, which is basically what their primary power is. Deadshot is the most accurate marksman. Also I'm biased but Blade is my favorite marvel character so I'm just throwing him in just because.

Compound V while it gave him a temporary boost it constantly weakened his base state over time. Comp V has dangerous drawbacks. Nahhh I don’t think it’s possible for him to get faster. If he was able too then that time has passed prob in highschool was when he could’ve ya know during the puberty stages. The flash has the speed force when Train is just running fast because of a mutation and can boost it by taking V. He’ll never be faster or as fast as the Flash he needs a pool of energy or something to be able to manipulate like how Flash has the speed force. Proof he's not the fastest when not on V ? He only took V as extra insurance out of fear of losing his spot one day on the 7. He didn't need it but it was a just in case type of thing. V was making him slower over time. We don't know how fast he was in his prime without V. It made his base speed ( by that I mean without compound V ) slower over time. It was destroying his body from the inside. And I believe it messed with his growth as a speedster. I believe he could get faster through hard training now that compound V ain't destroying his body.

Shockwave could've been a top class athlete or whatever but that was already someone faster, if a-train ain't wired lol, in like S1E3, oh and in S1E2 homelander is caught moving at like 1.95k kph or whatever on a camera, could be faster than a-train

There is still no proof he was not the fastest without Compound V. And a lot of things surrounding homelander was propaganda made up by vought. Like how everyone thought he was invincible. That was the only thing that kept the 7 in line. Namely powerhouses like A-train ( A-train is not just fast but dam strong ) and queen maeve. It was the thought of what he could do is what kept them all in check. But when for example queen maeve found out he could be hurt she was happy. She even hurt and made him bleed with her blows.
