This game is based on an Mexican Urban Legend called La Llorona. La Llorona also known as, "The Weeping Woman" is an urban legend about a woman who had married a man and had kids. But, after finding out her husband had cheated on her with another woman she drowned her two childrens in an act of rage but, when she stopped and realises her two childrens she immediately regretted it and drowned herself. And so, La Llorona patrols the river hoping to find her two kids while weeping although she mistakes some childrens who are alone as her "child" when in reality, they are actually not related to her and so she will the kids if they don't look like her own children. I do apologise if this comment is not accurate to the urban legend. If only the husband hadn't cheated on her then, she wouldn't have drowned the two kids of her own.
