How do you control the heat of the charcoal? On a kettle grill you can open/close the air vents. Does this grill have a similar feature to control the air flow?

if you are looking for that type of thing, then a kettle will be your best option. This is more for somoene like me who wants the taste of charcoal but dont really want to have another grill. That being said you could probably control the temp by jaring the lid open a crack.

When the charcoal begins to cool, can you reliant the burners?

Yes you can. Take off the sheet pan first. But it’s better to add some charcoal to keep the heat.

It’s depend on the charcoal that you’re gonna use. The lamp coal is so fast.

It sits on the heat shield mounts.

You can use easy off spray, the yellow one or the other way is to heat up your grates first then use your steel brush to scrape grates

In the video, you can see i put an old baking pan just to protect the burners from falling charcoal ashes or debris. You can put 2 baking pan on the top of the burnes.

What are you asking about is it the charcoal tray or the sheet pan ? For the sheet pan yes. You’ll be place it on tip of the burner. For the charcoal tray, you can place it also on top of the burner. Don’t worry bout the burner. It is sturdy.

Napoleon was actually a flame grill designed. They just made accessories (charcoal tray) to have an option.
