Delivering a plastic diff nut to hold the center diff screw and offering a aloy hop up instead of including a decent steel nut which holds is a total let down by tamiya for both of the kits. I sure hope they upgrade the kits soon by addin 2 (1 for td2 obviously) steel nuts and by offering a more solid servo mount. The plastic nut tends to strip and cause issues right away or after a few batteries.
Building the diff is not the problem. You should explain, how to fine tune the diff! Show us, how we can test the setup on our cars. So we don't damage our diffs, because it's too loose or too thight.
Nice video showing how to build 👍🏻 That blue locking nut should have been standard in the kit given how many have had issues with the plastic one though 😤
Thanks for nice video. I was searching for it. I wonder why there are no instructions to first degrease all components in Egress manual. I will disassemble it and do it again.😅

Please, explain the final fine tune. classic WD40 is good for initial cleaning?
imho too much greace used. also, you're better off with the slipping diff vs the overtightened one. plastic nuts snap like crazy.

What’s the point of the bearings if the diff is locked up tight?
The blue T nut should have been standard for this diff. The plastic T nut is the weakest link to this diff.
I thought you glue the metal washers first not grease them ?????
Haha nice😂
What’s the real difference between this and the oil filled diff? Stiffer or what?
Thank you for providing this video. I am much clearer on what I need to do with my bbx bb01 diff build.
what song is in the beginning? its very nice
Which Tamiya Cleaner is that?
Tamiya P/N 87039, RC Cleaner Spray
It’s just brake cleaner
