I love this movie...to think I can actually listen to these songs whenever I want....this movie always seemed to me like a "response" to "American Graffittii"--instead of middle class "white" CA kids, it's working class, "ethnic" East Coads kids...both movies are great.
I am Japanese. I love the scene at the end where Stanley says, ``I'm Chinese! I'm in Tokyo!'' It shows off the character of a young delinquent from the 1950s who didn't study. In Japan, this work is only sold on VHS, so I hope they release it on DVD or Blu-ray soon.
im from chicago and i grew up on this type music every weekend my father plays music of the 60's and i must say for a kid born in the 80's these days are coming back.. nuff said
Remember when this movie came out junior high school 1974 or $75 member great movie Stallone was great. Perry King Chico was cool Henry Winkler got the inspiration from Stallone’s character to play the Fonz he said he wore the same boots he wore in the The lords great soundtrack I had the vinyl but for three bucks it cost $37 now wish I still had a classic I have the DVD
