Well, if the Terminator franchise was being accused of copying an story from The Outer Limits show, then he would naturally spawned some clones too, LOL!
The only thing you could say about Gregory Hines ("History of the World", "White Nights', "Running Scared", "Wolfen", "The Cotton Club", "Waiting to Exhale"), is "He can dance up a storm",..(which he TOTALLY could)? Too bad he died so young. He was pretty much a letter-day Sammy Davis, jr...he could do it all
Recently, I picked up a movie called Christmas, Bloody Christmas. From the description of an animatronic Santa turning murderous, I was expecting something that was clearly inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's (like they did The Banana Splits Movie, and Willy's Wonderland). Instead, it wound up being a low budget mix of Silent Night, Deadly Night, and The Terminator.
@@movietimelines I was surprised to see it. It has been a little while since I dug through the catalog but I can almost guarantee that I’ll be on an Atom and his Package kick tonight. Thanks for the entertaining videos and the blast from the past.
Good stuff here! I lived in Ghana for a while(great place), most people speak Twi and English so I can see how it would switch between the 2. That movie looks like they had a lot of fun making it.
The T5s in The Terminators also sound like Screamers ripoffs. I saw Eve Of Destruction in the theaters. I like it. Not a favorite, but it's good. What about the Project Shadowchaser series of movies in the 90s with Frank Zagarino? Do any of those, especially 1, fill the bill? I know that the story is different. But he is a human looking robot, uh, doing stuff and wreaking havoc.
You missed the popular Hong Kong movie by director Tsui Hark called I Love Maria where popular 80s Asian singer actor Sally Yeh plays a well armed robot called Maria.
The new Terminator movies are connected to Oracle and the bio state being created with hospitals and police, Scientology and psychiatry. Part of this is the military strategy of having police stalk innocent people and create the fear, psychiatry state. It's part of Michael Aquino's military strategy.
I’m so glad 2016 is on here. I have a huge soft spot for Gollywood movies. Also, even though you’ve covered it before, I’m not mad that Shocking Dark is on the list… because Shocking freakin Dark
AHAHAHAHA Holy i have to see these!!!! I really love "Aliens"!!! i gotta see "Shocking Dark" or whatever. lololol. THat is verrrry suureal that Robert Patrick was IN one of these!!!!!
As far as Future Hunters goes... looks like the audience are the ones who got the shaft. But, come on, Eve of Destruction rocked it. Just can't give Gregory Hines a bad grade. 😇
Terminatrix is some kind of classic! List videos are always a delight! I'm always clued into or reminded of movies I want to watch! But this time, this time I take great issue with aspects of time travel you clearly don't understand at all, but I won't define how. Why don't you just stick to the timelines, Mr. Timeline Guy, because your grasp of time travel is dubious at best. I could explain how, but I would rather harp and moan and carryon and through all that you can just rest assured, no evidence offered, no points given, you are wrong, and I am right. And also, some vague, weird threating insinuation, I'm mentioning, so you should know, though spurious and undefined and mysterious at best, is totally potent and real. So, take that and be put in your place. Try to argue with any of that, a yeah, you can't. I win. Time travel's my way. End scene. There, exorcised that from my mind.
how exactly is it a terminator rip off? its two aliens hunting each other while one is searching for the anti-life equation. It has some small similarities but its not a rip off
@@Necrowolf81 Okay maybe it's more a T2 mixed with Robocop rip-off... But look, You've got a Cyborg-robot thing who doesn't fully get what it means to be human traveling back in time to be the father figure to a kid, with a bit of Kindergarten Cop thrown in there for the ending of 'bad guy holds kids hostage at school', not to mention they both star action-y macho men who later entered politics...
Is the entire Nemesis series on the list? And Trancers, at least the first one? I would include Abraxas ('91), Time Runner (93), Solo (96), Future War (97), and Returner (02). Perhaps this would be controversial, but I think a strong case could be made for Star Trek: First Contact (96). It features time travel, post apocalypse, a messianic figure, cyborgs, *and* an android getting human skin.
just having time travel and robots doesn't make it a terminator rip off. Do you think Terminator was the first? Also, if im not mistaken Abraxus is about an alien cop hunting an alien bad guy on earth and trying to stop him from killing some kid. Not exactly terminator.
Terminator Ripoffs? It was James Cameron who ripped off 2 Outer Limits episodes that were written by Harlan Ellison that became the inspiration for The Terminator.
Other things pre 1984 use similar stories the 1962 film La Jetee (which 12 Monkeys is based on) the 1972 Doctor Who story Day of the Daleks and the 1981 X-Men comic story Days of Future Past.
@@TheYoungDoctor Cameron actually told a reporter during a interview that he based Terminator on "a couple of Outer Limits episodes." Which is why at the end of The Terminator, just before the credits start to roll, Harlan Ellison being given credit.
here's something most people don't know. Star Wars is a huge rip off of a 1930s novel series called the lensmen (or something like that) Entire scenes are ripped off from it. It involves intergalactic peacekeepers with special powers. One scene in the book has the hero wearing a helmet with a blast shield down while training but he can still see the target. Another scene has him using a one man space fighter to destroy the enemy's secret weapon.
Oh my goodness the predalien kicked the baby. I was not expecting that. Give it an Oscar.
I gotta say, the one from Ghana completely redeemed itself with that field goal kick. Solid 9 out of 10.
3 points for the field goal.
It felt like little kids made a movie with blender 😂
This video was worth watching just for Josh's Johnny Five impersonation lol
Lol
I appreciate the "Be Kind, Rewind" reference, it's under appreciated

The guy in 2016 is not a child but a grown man with dwarfism. He is very famous in nigeria and part of a comedy duo.

i mean, don’t i say just that? i say that he can do it all. he can act, he’s funny, and he can dance.
the man was a legend.
Time Runner (1993) with Mark Hamill, Cyborg 2 (1993) with Angelina Jolie and Assassin (1986) with Robert Conrad.
"But Captain, a PredAlien canna' fire when she's cloaked!"
"All things being equal, Mr. Scott, I would agree with you. However, all things are not equal. This one can." (At least I *think* that's how it goes.)
Great video as always! Side note, maybe that Bruce Le is the same guy from Pieces? If so I had no idea that he was in more movies!

I saw that one. It was a huge let down
The first one I was wondering why she was wrapped in clingfilm, before realising it was a see through skirt.
I liked your vol 2 list even better than this one. #timeTravelJoke
The Terminators is actually a rip-off of West World, which is on of the movies that inspired The Terminator
Whoa. Is that an Atom and his Package shirt?!
i mean, that's why i got it, but it's not an official one or anything.
Atom is the best.

Yes it’s the pink ranger
i love Cirio Santiago movies
That last one I had a flash of you saying "Terrible gun discipline"!
How come if your waitress does a good job they get the tip and if they do a bad job they get the shaft? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?
I need to see the movie from Ghana ! It looks hilarious ^^
both parts are on youtube!

simply involving a robot doesn't make it a terminator rip off. FFS what is wrong with some people
