Interesting that the switch isnt in the room with you... It's very load. The firmware does not have fan control, it just spins at 100% 24/7 - confirmed by UK support

China has made it very clear they intend to control the internet at a base level and trusting any Chinese networking equipment seems like a bit of an oversight. I understand that it may be an abundance of caution, but I feel like it will eventually come back to bite people. Could be wrong! Hope I’m wrong.

Does the switch have internal fans or passive cooled? If fans, how loud is the switch?
It has internal fans it’s pretty loud I’ll take a reading in a little while

This has 4 1G SFP ports, they have another switch exactly the same but with 4 10G SFP ports.
