Invasion of the Spongy or Gypsy Moth (Lymantria Dispar).

These Spongy Moth (Lymantria Dispar) also known as Gypsy Moth caterpillars are demolishing our Oak tree and dropping poop and partially eaten leaves all over our back deck. We use a leaf blower several times a day to clear off the leaves and poop. Normally we get a lot of shade from this oak tree but not so this year since these caterpillars invaded. Whats crazy is you can hear a constant noise from the poop hitting the deck, it's nasty !!
