    Our dog loves toys that squeak or light up! I think it’s because she can get her humans’s attention to play! I have a wonderful picture of my dad with his saxophone when he was in a Mardi Gras parade at age 9 or 10... in the early thirties - this is inspiring me to create a journal page!

    What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man! I'm moved to tears. I'm so blessed to still have my dad (I'm 61). It's so hard to see him slowly decline. 😢❤🙏

    I lost my mom 16 years gone by now. Still really miss her. However, since I do believe in the earthly resurrection hope that Jesus gave us , when he said to Martha and Mary, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear my voice and come out ", before he resurrected Lazarus, I look forward to seeing her again, right here on the earth. I realize not everyone believes in this, however, it is our best hope.

    Because I think things happen when they're supposed to, I've fallen behind on these YT videos. Today, the day that I'm feeling the loss of my Dad more deeply, I jump on and your video is for Father's Day! I have his photos from childhood and I'll be absolutely doing a page in his memory! Thank you Dyan!

    What a lovely page. As someone who lost my father 14 years ago, it's not comforting for one to tell you it gets better in time... all time does is give you ways to cope, but the loss is always the deepest cut. Father's day is bittersweet but I thoroughly appreciate your page and tribute. Thanks for sharing

    H Dyan, this is one of my favorite pages, I do find it difficult to do tribute pages in my scrapbooks etc, but I know I should. Thanks for all your wonderful videos. I re-watch them all the time for inspiration.

    Dyan, I lost my dad when I was just 15. He has been gone 37 years. You are correct, it doesn’t get easier we just cope. Thank you for a wonderful visit. You have helped me so much.

    I really love these pages. I think it's important to document our loss. Some people are of the opinion, they are dead now, end of story, but that isn't so. My mum passed away 46 years ago, just 12 days before my 7th birthday & it changed my entire life as I knew it. ❤❤

    This is a lovely page. I too miss my Dad who passed 30 years ago and wish I could have just one more conversation with him on all the things I should have said. But we must all focus on the happy times. xxx

    My dad passed away in 1985: he saw me graduate with my Bachelors degree, walked me down the aisle, knew that I received my masters in speech pathology, but didn’t get to meet our 3children - miss him every day!

    My Father was born in '23 and I lost him in 2015. Wish he hadn't smoked his whole life, might still be here. He'd be 92 and I'm sure he'd still be sharp as a tack. Every little girls first love is her dad. My dad wanted to put a bullet in the brain of my abusive ex husband, upon learning a tiny fraction of what my ex had done to me, and continues to do to me.

    Hello Dyan! Beautiful tribute to your father, and it’s so true: It doesn’t get easier 😞. I have a question: do you use regular copy paper or a sort of a better quality for things like this?

    • @DylusionsDyan
      @DylusionsDyan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hanna Haspe this was just regular copy paper, sometimes I use the Matt photo paper also ❤️
