This series is a game changer! I cannot THANK YOU enough for putting it together. It has taken my watercolor to the next level by your easy guidance. I watched part 1 and 2 and now I’m painting my way through them. What an improvement! Bought your book as well!
Wowzers, I just watched a 3 1/2 hour video! A lot of great information, especially with the trees which is my focus now. I love the style of your paintings and how the colors blend.
Love your art and love your videos. These lessons rocket me toward more enjoyment and satisfaction with a tough medium. Also your accent sounds like home 😊
I love this Chris. First time viewer but this looked like a great challenge for exploring technique. I typically do pen and wash but have been wanting to try working just with watercolor to get more loose.
Awesome! I have watched the first six and will go away to practice, before my ADHD brain goes into overdrive. Thank you, as a new viewer to your channel I am so glad to have found you! 🙏🏻
This is great! Thank you. This comes at the perfect time for me, as I have more time at home due to a recent injury. Even though I've been painting for awhile, it's great to have a project such as this to learn new techniques and revisit those I'd forgotten about. I plan on doing a few each day.
These are so incredibly helpful Chris - so generous of you to share your talent and knowledge so generously with us! Have just watched the whole of parts 1 and 2 and learned so, so much from you! Now to practice! :))
Hi Chris, I really enjoyed watching the techniques you demonstrate here. I'm keen to try them myself. Can you explain how much of an angle you have your paper on please? This will be a video I will watch many times over. Thanks very much.
1:41:09 keep TWO jars of water going One to clean the brushes One to have crystal clear/clean water to work with. Even when using my mini travel kit on location, I ALWAYS have two water containers
Thank you for all this fantastic tips !! I’m looking for the brush you used for the grass at the end on the 15th pic and for the branches on the plant on the 13rd one and some other details (the red brush with a fine point at the end). I can’t find it anywhere. Could please tell me the brand and the number please. It would be so helpful 🙏. Thank you again for all those tips !(excuse my poor English, I hope you will understand it anyway 😋☺️) I’m French and I left school many years ago 😆
Hi Chris! I’m enjoying your tutorial very much. I had a question about the paper. Some teachers say to only use 100% cotton even for practice. I noticed that the Fabriano studio paper is only 25% cotton. Do you think students can practice on something like the Fabriano studio paper and then use 100% cotton paper for the composition they’d like to frame? Quite frankly, it’s pretty expensive to practice on Arches!
Hi, great question! I feel the Fabriano Student paper is a professional quality paper,… good for professional use, gallery, sales, competition etc. 👍😎🍀

Great positive attitude Sharon! 👍😎🍀
i need better brushes for sure....is the needlepoint brush you used on #15 the Da Vinci Rigor brush set in the description?
Great question! Yes, the brush is close to the same Da Vinci Rigor Series in the description. 👍😎🍀
The fan brush you are using must have been for the Winton student quality oil paint, but it works great!
It is a great brush and very versatile!👍😎

You are too repetitive and talk too much!
Good tips, but very annoying. Shorten your explanations!
Thanks for watching, I’ll try to keep it brief. 👍😎🍀
You are just fine, don’t change a single thing!
