Always love watching a video with John and Mira in it. Glad they're doing well.
They’re the best!
Baddass John And Mira 🙏❤️✌️
Thank you so much, John, Mira, and Ryan. It's awesome to see John and Mira in Boulder lately.!!
I just love the tours you all, including Mira, have done together.
Both of your tours have been such a huge inspiration for me, even though I'm approaching 70. I'm going to keep doing longer rides, and drive myself further by following all of your tours. Thank you for what both do !! ❤
I'm so glad that I know you!! You're such a good human
You 2 are amazing. Love watching the videos and Mira should have her own channel. Such a star ⭐️. Keep up the good work both 🎉.
Congratulations for completing this incredible ride to you and the amazing Mira. You inspire so many. Happy trails.
Mira and Ryan , what a pic you hugging her on your lap ! Ryan your the best ! You are a best communicator 🥰
I love that dog so much!!
Incredible accomplishment by John and Mira, I cycle 100 miles fairly regularly but not every day so hats off to John👍He is a machine and Mira is the brains🤣She is just so adorable😍I actually cycled 130 miles yesterday with 8300ft of elevation gain but thats like a walk in the park to John😉Thanks for this fantastic interview Ryan👍
Amazing and Mira is such a doggy legend.
So incredibly helpful, thanks for doing this! As a new dog packer, everything that John and Mira have done from bike design, food, self care Ect is incredibly helpful
Over a hundred miles a day... Here I am feeling proud of my 35 mile ride, yesterday. 😅 I only got started biking again last year, though - after nearly two decades out of the saddle.
Extra RVD video this week! With John and Mira!!! Total score!
BONUS HAPPY FRIDAY VIDEO!
Great job John and Mira! Way to hang in there. Thanks for sharing, Ryan!
Oh Mira our Mira! 🥰❤🐕🌏
I'm so glad you had your rest, rethought your strategy and got back going. I chauffeured Tessie the Wonderdog along the Tassie Gift in 2020 at a touring pace, raced solo respectably in 2022, and am now considering whether to take Tessie - at the age of 12 - on this year's Gift. It's a tough decision - so much nicer riding an unloaded bike, and sounds awful sitting in a box on a rear rack for many hours a day for maybe 2 weeks, but dogs just want to be with their human. We just have to look after them, hey. Thanks for sharing, Ryan. Hit me up if any of you get to Tasmania.
Very impressed with your dedication and love for your companion. Hi mira 👋. Everything you do in life is a learning experience if you pay attention. Thanks for sharing this with us
❤ you two are a dresm team. Both uber nice representations of the US and Canada. Exceptional ambassadors of sport and living life and living it yoir way.
Wow, thank you!
I am currently touring with my pup Kola! We love you John and Mira 🤸 you were our inspiration to do this so thank you! we have been on the road for 120 days and are up to 11,000 km with 4000 more to get home
We love John almost as much as Mira!
Really nice to hear John talking aboot his recent adventures with Mira.
Great way to start the day, with a Mira video. Oh, and you 2 fellows too.😁. Thank you for the over view of the TD with Mira and John.
Cheers. 👍🇨🇦 🚴♀️🐕
just awesome. love their stories. thanks Ryan for hosting. thanks John and Mira for sharing....
Hey Mira, John & Ryan from Peterborough, Ont!
That was just an amazing ITT! Like many I followed on trackleaders. You and Mira’s comeback was awesome! Y’all take care!
John and Mira. Well-being is everything and a race is a challenge. Respect, for pulling up and taking stock of the team😊
Seeing Mira was the best part of this video🐶❤
This was great! Thank you all for the inspiration!
Good to see John and Mira are well, I hadn't heard anything from Omni Tierra channel so I was worried. Thanks for posting Ryan..🚴
They are alive and well
I just watched a news story on CTV Calgary that featured John & Mira. It was neat to see.
Right on! They’re amazing
Great interview. Thanks!
Great interview! I love to hear how you guys deal with the mental challenge of those big tours. 100 miles a day? With bags? And a dog? That doesn’t sound “reasonable”! Sounds AMAZING!
It’s so impressive
What an inspiration you guys are,in times when I get down thanks to Ryan I put on your adventures and I'm young again.lovw you guys for all you do.God bless.❤❤
I love little Mira, the world's sweetest dog.
She really is!
Hearing John describe his rig and the weights involved was MIND BLOWING. This guy is an absolute BEAST on a bike. 🤯🤯🤯
He sure is!
Awesome achievement for Mira and her human friend...😆...love to you both...👍👍
Please with the Mira Merch: t-shirts with long sleeves! Would love to order!

Saludos Mira!!!! Tambien para John. There’s definitely no Mira without John, so happy for this achievement 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. Thanks Ryan for making this interview available here.
Great job as always Ryan,John and dogs!
So good! Love John & Mira!! Great video, Ryan!!
Love it! Congratulations John and Mira! You're awesome!
Thanks for sharing your adventures John, Mira and Ryan! I love that you share your challenges as well as your good times. I just came back from a cycling trip that didnt really happen because most of British Columbia was on fire. I will try to cycle the Canadian Rockies again. Your optimism keeps me going❤
There was a philosopher, I believe it was ancient Greece, 2,500 years ago, who said that we can learn alot, from an animal like a dog..In so as they are always present in the moment, live only in the moment, with that great attitude, that makes the most of any situation..They are not distracted/obsessed or worried about the future..I wish I could remember which one it was, but, a google search couldn't help me there..Border Collies are great dogs, the best dog I've ever had as a companion..They are just incredibly smart, to the point that sometimes you have to wonder who's training who...And they were bread for an extremely active life, which they need to thrive.
Great job, John and Mira! So inspiring. Ryan, you are inspiring too. My teenage kid and I just completed out first bikepacking trip, because of you. Hope to see you on the trail someday!
Been waiting for this post! Nice to see all three of ya!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Nice to get a recap of John and Mira's race. I look forward to following them on their way south. maybe Ryan will join up with them somewhere in in central or South America! Saludos y abrazos! 🙂
Woot woot! love seeing John and Mira
Me too!!
Its good to see john and mira again!
Nice shirt Duzer !
Imagínate un evento con Jhon, Ryan y Mira cruzando Montana para apoyar a la comunidad de Boulder Co. 😮
Just amazing! So happy to hear about the finish and the second attempt. Congrat's!
Congrats John and Mira! See ya in Colombia!
Name my dog Mira in tribute to them. Thanks for having them on, Duzer!
That so cool! Give your Mira a hug
That's a lot of miles! No wonder John lost so much weight. Lookin' good!
Great with the companionship of a dog.
I am often amazed of people who destroys otherwise wondeful experiances just to compete. I know that it is probably why we have the comfort and supplies we have in modern day but still. Now?
Congrats John and Mira!!!
As Always Ryan, Thank you! 🏆
My pleasure!
John is a beast. So insirational! Nice work John and Mira! What John said about the food made me laugh. Same thing happens to me. You start with gels or powders, but something inside you makes it sooooo hard to eat after a couple of days. You just just crave REAL food.
Wonderful wrap up! Very inspiring!
Great video. Thanks for introducing us to John and Mira.
Glad you enjoyed it!
MIRAAA... 💯🤗😍
Bravo to you all
Thank you Ryan, John and Mira for the update. I was one of those following them and then wondering what happened. Not being on instagram its nice to hear from John the journey they have been on 😊😊😊
Video's you've made with John and Mira are by far the best cycling related content on youtube. Despite you guys having very spesific bikes and gear and everyting, the focus is on enjoying the trip. For me bicycle touring has always been about freedom and travelling by bike rather than achieving a goal. I also appreciate when you try to find out something important about the place and it's history. Speaking Spanish in Americas or Swedish in Sweden obviously helps! We did tours in Russia before Covid and the war with a friend who speaks Russian and it opened a whole new world. The language is still pretty usefull in Eastern Europe though.
Great update! You asked John all the right questions, Ryan. Oh ... guess what, I finally got off the couch and out on my first off-road overnighter! Planning a week long trip for early October. Thank you to you both for the inspiration! 👍
Awesome job John and Mira! Thanks Ryan! Nice vlog as usual!
Love Mira
Wondering if new sealed hubs have a break-in period? Is the hub titanium? Since John’s carrying 2-3 times the normal weight he might need a custom hub?
A great listen from two legends.
SALUDOS Ryan, Jhon y Mira, El mejor secreto guardado, el desayuno de los campeones, BURRITO 🥙 CON FRIJOLES.
Wow John and Mira you both did such an awesome job watching each others backs great team work! Watching you as a dot and googling the map of the area had me on the edge of my seat and your posts on instagram made it more exciting. Great job! The story was worth the wait because it was compelling to watch a dot and know the terrain you are going through and see the weather reports was so nerve racking lol. Good luck on your next endeavor and i can't wait to see it. :) :) Thank you Ryan for interviewing them it was awesome. :):) One thing about having new digs Ryan is that you now have a great interviewing space congrats on your new house. :) :)
My favorite shirt too I ordered one too. Good interview
It’s such a great shirt!
I was out of town when John was in Helena or I would have been there petting Mira at Blackfoot River Brewing, too :)
No way! He said that Mira was extra popular in Helena
Very nice 👍🇺🇸💪🇨🇦
Wait....is that a "chea pet" on that table? All three of ya are SUPERSTAAAAAAZ
It sure is!!
Well done John and Mira!! That is some daily mileage to sustain, I doth my bike helmet in your direction sir!!
You got that right!
I bet John would be a very competitive Masters racer at this point with all the heavy training with Mira and their gear.
Hi Ryan cool video, I was wondering how do you guys get the route for the race.
Hi Ryan, thanks for your videos. I live in Denver and have been biking about the same amount of time as you! I have been bike packing the Colorado Trail in sections. I don't like the rear seat bag that much, as I tend to overstuff it. Can you tell me what your rear orange panniers are from and what the attachment is? Thanks, Doyle
That record will stand for a while, impressive time. Think my cat would go for something like that. He always wants to be in the action, and basically follows me around all day anyway. He will already ride on my shoulder, but not so sure about a harness and leash.
haha, do it!! Fastest Known Cat!
DogPacking. A new way to journy. :)
What a treat to see this video. Great interview with John and Mira. Did anyone find John's tent poles?
Haha, nope. I think he used that brand new tent for 3 nights :(
If you need to build a Tour De France team, you probably want John and Ryan on the team, because they are beasts on a bike..I would not be surprised if they brought Mira too
Mira is essential ;)
Please let John know I signed up for his Patreon to help buy kibble and supplies for Mira. My border collie insisted! He thinks she's cute!
Yay!! Thank you so much, I’ll let him know
I saw that John & Mira were on this year's Tour Divide. Good on them. That's a tough race!👏👏👏
Great to see the John and Mira again so so well done that will be long standing time John.
Ryan can i ask what size T-shirt your wearing so i can judge size for the Mira shirt and what size are you ie height and chest?
I’m wearing a medium and it fits great!
Ryan what are those sandals that you are wearing?
They’re made my shimano
How do you guys handle leaving your bikes to go in to a store, etc.? Do you just leave them unlocked and trust that people will leave them alone?
One day we'll have a "Duzer" Chia Pet.
Haha!! 😂😂😂 the pinnacle of my career
What is the make of John's bike?
i thought you were in sweden?
I was in Sweden in June/July
Does John ever give Mira real meat such as beef, chicken gizzards, etc., or is her food always dried stuff?
New disciplinem dog packing
Question to viewers; did Ryan move from his condo to a house??
I did!
Congratulations!!!
@@duzerWow, good for you! 🎉😃
I think Mira has #enduziasm
He pushed Mira too hard more than once - really hope he doesn't make her do something like this again. She doesn't care about racing.
