Loving the view on this one. FOV 165deg and the most beautiful image ever. Would love to upgrade my fleet with these. First need a job. Lol ☹️. Nice that they came out witht the BabyRatel v2! Will have to try it. I love the 19mm micro size Ratel v2, much better than the previous Ratel.
So they finally released it! I got two of these from Getfpv with the subscription box. The first one they forgot to put in the IR filter so they sent us another camera that was fixed plus they sent us the filter to fix the first one. I used one in my build from the subscription boxes and I still have one to use in another build. Thanks for doing this video. Of course mine didn't come with the aluminum frame, I got mine before they went into production I think.

This looks great! I need to get one to see how it fits in my GnarlyFPV Sub Atomic. It looks like this camera doesn’t have the annoying black sun artifact like with the Ant or RunCam Nano 4.

Full size is better with larger lens. Lets more light in. More dynamic range in the day, better low light performance too.

Maybe swap it in the original Tinyhawk freestyle since nobody likes that camera?
Another informative video from Albert Kim. The camera on my Tinyhawk S(dark) is terrible .Was hoping a camera like this would come along to replace it. Anyone know if It would fit in the Emax Tinyhawk S? I'm still kind of a rookie with sort of RC stuff.
That camera is different dimensions and taller vertically. So not sure it will work without modding the frame which I've seen people do with cutters and hot glue but you'll have to get creative.

Do you know if there's any clearance issues to mount the Baby Ratel 2 camera in the stock Larva X canopy? Or the TPU pod canopy that you had on your Red devil?
I'm looking to replace both run cam nano 2 cameras in both of those quads.

I think on both this one sticks out by 1mm compared to the RunCam nano but should otherwise fit almost the same.

I was more worried about the plug sockets in the back of the Baby Ratel 2. Looks like the distance from the cams mounting holes to the back of the plug sockets is a greater distance than the Runcam Nano 2.
Can one change a camera on any drone without changing things in software?
No. Some settings may need to change unless you're just super lucky and all the settings match with the new one.
Can I just swap this camera with the stock camera that is in the mobula 6 or do I have to pay attention to something?

I just bought one and realized that it's not suitable for 1S.. (facepalm). Any thoughts on a decent low light 1S camera?
Almost all 1S whoop boards have a 5v BEC on them. Are you using this by itself? Most of the other cameras that can do lower voltages don't have good performance in low light however.
@@AlbertKimTV Yes, I am powering it from the 5v pin of an HGLRC Zeus5, but since the battery is only giving 4.2v max, the camera never reaches the minimum 4.5v to start outputting video. Will order a Caddx ant lite for this build. Thanks.
is this music Tycho? sounds like them...anyways.....I put my baby ratel 2 on a custom tiny whoop I built with a flywoo 1s fc and built in vtx and I was flying it out at the park last weekend and the picture started to slowly turn more and more fuzzy and before I knew it the sky turned a reaLLY INTENSE bright green color....like LED green, almost inverted colors.....do you have any clue why this may be? I didnt even crash.
The sensor may have gone bad. I would contact Caddx support for this issue.
@@AlbertKimTV unfortunately I have already been in contact with caddx support over a loris that refuses to record and and ant lite that went black and white (they had me show proof that every option they had for fixing these things was tried and didn’t work) and I even got an order number but now they say they are out of loris boards and they never shipped anything and I’m being ignored. Same thing with foxeer! I have a digisight 2 that went black and white before I even got to fly with it even though my settings say it’s in color…. Trying to get any real customer service out of China seems damn near impossible…… I’ve tried… if you have any suggestions for me as to getting better responses I am all ears! Thanks for the reply.
