game is actually decent,the shipments you gain after every level,so you dont need to buy the speed points,as for the performance cards this was my biggest disappointment,i would have preferred it if they had car parts shop and then added the cards to give you a edge in the different elements.

Legal terms state you must risk total loss of money per transaction to be considered gambling. So technically carnival games and claw machines are more so gambling than boxes in games. XBL offers access to a couple games a month as well. Its a nice extra on both platforms unless you buy a lot of games, in which case anything of interest you will probably own already. The first couple of years on PS4 were a bit rough as there really wasn't much to offer on PSN paid or otherwise.

I think an even more robust movement would be required. Boycotting would be a good start, but protest at E3 or other events might be in order. Anti-trust laws could be used to pressure EA; In that they have bought up so much competition it is hurting consumers. That would require political lobbying efforts. EA is a publicly traded company, so if you can buy enough controlling stock you can own EA, or you convince enough people to sell it and its value drops and the company buckles, etc. This whole battlefront debacle may be a natural tipping point whereby the market corrects itself and we see corporate officers at EA step down and a new era dawn, blah, blah, blah... but I am not to optimistic.
What upsets me the most is that EA had some really good games back in the day like the Burnout series and Nfs Most Wanted, games that made my childhood. Now it's really sad to see what they have become.

I heard the argument that game's have become bigger but prices havent increased several times. And I think its bullshit. Production cost on the side of the developers have def gone up, but for the consumer games are still the same as always. Even in Nintendo64 Age, there were games that took you 30 hours or more to finish. And now we still have plenty of games that can be finished in 6 hours or less. In fact, as consumers we get even less for our money now, because games r now being sold "jigsaw"-style, where you buy individual pieces and for the full game u will spend up 120 bucks (include season passes and DLC, micro-transactions etc). They hire and fire on a per project basis. Its developed in low cost countries. The obly reason they claim it costs more is because of the big bonuses the executives get and all the money they waste on outrageously excessive marketing instead of making the games good. This way they get a faster returns and more money.

This isn't about the amount of hours you as a consumer get out of their game, this is about the overall production cost which has significantly increased over the years. People want bigger and better looking games and it's common sense that those advancements will equal more investments. Games back in the "N64 age" could be made in significantly less time with significantly less developers as well.

Sad what gaming has turned into I skipped out on so many games this year Assassin's Creed, For Honor, Shadow of War, Destiny 2, Call of Duty WWII, and Battle Front II it's looking like. Because these games implement practices that are really shit and I just can't support and the reason why....microtransactions. The shit ruins game mechanics every time it's implemented cause back in day you just had to progress in the game to earn cosmetics, weapons, and game ENDINGS through normal immersive gameplay.
AC Origins was alright, I'd say. The microtransactions bits are always a downside to any game, but in the case of AC, they were at least obtainable through in-game currency and very easy to ignore.
I've been playing For Honor for over a year and the microtransactions have never been needed to be good at it. The game revolves more around skill than gear. Especially now that gear stats are gone, the only microtransactions are season pass stuff to get characters early.

Also I edited out a section where I explain all the glitches & FPS drops was caused by the game not cooperating with OBS - we switched to Geforce Broadcast just to record/stream and even then it was really poorly optimized the game struggles on PC if you attempt to record or stream it. A Crap PC Port Job. We tested Warhammer II at highest settings and had no problems on my PC so its this game demanding too high of CPU usage, needs a patch or something.

NFS... Hell I generally HATE the design of Porsche cars (my personal problem) , but NFS Porsche? That was great game to play for its time, hell... i think i might play it again. I think an even more robust movement would be required. Boycotting would be a good start, but protest at E3 or other events might be in order. Anti-trust laws could be used to pressure EA; In that they have bought up so much competition it is hurting consumers. That would require political lobbying efforts. EA is a publicly traded company, so if you can buy enough controlling stock you can own EA, or you convince enough people to sell it and its value drops and the company buckles, etc. This whole battlefront debacle may be a natural tipping point whereby the market corrects itself and we see corporate officers at EA step down and a new era dawn, blah, blah, blah... but I am not to optimistic.

I heard the argument that game's have become bigger but prices havent increased several times. And I think its bullshit. Production cost on the side of the developers have def gone up, but for the consumer games are still the same as always. Even in Nintendo64 Age, there were games that took you 30 hours or more to finish. And now we still have plenty of games that can be finished in 6 hours or less. In fact, as consumers we get even less for our money now, because games r now being sold "jigsaw"-style, where you buy individual pieces and for the full game u will spend up 120 bucks (include season passes and DLC, micro-transactions etc). They hire and fire on a per project basis. Its developed in low cost countries. The obly reason they claim it costs more is because of the big bonuses the executives get and all the money they waste on outrageously excessive marketing instead of making the games good. This way they get a faster returns and more money.

This isn't about the amount of hours you as a consumer get out of their game, this is about the overall production cost which has significantly increased over the years. People want bigger and better looking games and it's common sense that those advancements will equal more investments. Games back in the "N64 age" could be made in significantly less time with significantly less developers as well.

Sad what gaming has turned into I skipped out on so many games this year Assassin's Creed, For Honor, Shadow of War, Destiny 2, Call of Duty WWII, and Battle Front II it's looking like. Because these games implement practices that are really shit and I just can't support and the reason why....microtransactions. The shit ruins game mechanics every time it's implemented cause back in day you just had to progress in the game to earn cosmetics, weapons, and game ENDINGS through normal immersive gameplay.
The Kryptonian Origins and Shadow of War are still good games man
AC Origins was alright, I'd say. The microtransactions bits are always a downside to any game, but in the case of AC, they were at least obtainable through in-game currency and very easy to ignore.
I've been playing For Honor for over a year and the microtransactions have never been needed to be good at it. The game revolves more around skill than gear. Especially now that gear stats are gone, the only microtransactions are season pass stuff to get characters early.
