Feel the Nara Period！Heijokyu Izanaikan Museum

The Heijokyu Izanaikan is a history museum located in the Nara Palace Site (Heijokyuseki, the center of the capital city once located in Nara).
It holds rich exhibits that include excavated items from the Nara Palace Site 1300 years ago and various experience-style displays.
Please come visit and feel the life of the Nara period.
Entry is free. It is located 4km west of Nara Park. We recommend you to take the Gurutto Bus.
