As a macular degeneration patient, can I benefit from the telescopic and bioptic glasses you made? If so, is it possible for me to order them? Thank you and wish you good work. Best regards.
Hello Dear Mr. Armstrong, I have Macular Degeneration in both eyes. How can I benefit from the glasses you invented? What do I need to do to benefit from them? I would be very happy if you could help me. I expect good news from you. Thank you very much. I wish you good work and healthy days.
Low vision glasses were invented over 60 years ago. I did not invent them. They are prescribed by your eye doctor doing a very thorough evaluation of your vision and demonstrating to you how the various types of low vision glasses will help you see better. If your doctor does not provide this service perhaps they can refer you to a doctor who can help you. I don't have any knowledge of what is available in your country. You and your eye doctor will have to locate a low vision doctor. Good luck.
Thanks for your comment Beth. There are a lot of ways that people with low vision from Macular Degeneration, Stargardt Disease and other conditions can be helped. Unfortunately, many of those people are aware of them. I am trying to help spread the word.
As you know, most people with nystagmus have impaired vision. Low vision glasses including bioptic telescopic glasses like mine can make an improvement in vision for people with nystagmus. The do not stop the constant, involuntary eye movement that's called nystagmus. I've prescribed low vision glasses for many people with nystagmus who benefit from improved vision.
I live in Germany and cant make my driver License because of my bad eyes. I´ve heard that in the Netherlands its allowed to make the driver License with Bioptic do you know something about it?
Watching your videos makes me wanna cry cos you're the answer to my question ⁉️ but you're in America while I'm in Nigeria. You should do online live consultation. Can I get an invite to America?
Hello sir,can i have 1 of youre bioptic ayeglass?i have a retinitis pigmentosa i cant see better its blurred im 52 y/o sir and maybe i cant affored to buy it😒😒😒
Low vision glasses including bioptics are prescribed to suit each person's individual needs. That requires an evaluation by a low vision optometrist. You should consult a low vision doctor near you for their advice. Unfortunately, low vision glasses are not always helpful in retinitis pigmentosa, especially if there is very little vision remaining. Good luck.
@@dr.davidarmstrong5881 i still have vision sir but as i said its not very clear, the eye specialist that chek me up said that i have a retinitis pigmentosa and there is no cure,im hoping sir that the bioptic telescopic eyeglass can help with my problem...

Unfortunately, there is no way that a low vision evaluation can be done online. Sorry.
